  1. Actually, that's the Mask of UnMutation. Which doesn't exist. The Mask of Mutation would be more likely to give all your enemies cancer (or worse). Actually, it can "unMutate" as well as mutate. Quote from Biosector01: "A Mask of Mutation can also undo other mutations, but without knowledge of exactly what the original mutation did, it becomes more difficult to reverse it." So you'd need a good understanding of cancer, but it is possible.
  2. It was stated that when Matoran become Toa, they take the appearance of what they believe a Toa should look like. So when Takua became a Toa, the idea in his head was the Toa Nuva, so therefore his form resembled them. The only exceptions were the Toa Inika, because of their bizarre means of transformation. But storywise, the Mata were average Toa, and when they became the Nuva have more power and control over that power than normal Toa. Therefore I believe that it's basically inexperience that led to their defeats (the Turaga were experts about telling the Toa all about their enemies *after* they met them...)
  3. Any position that requires an election is, by definition, not a King. Why? A king is a ruler who is, ostensibly, the supreme head of state. A government can be set-up so as to elect its kings. The method of coming to power does not necessarily change the power bestowed. Denmark used to be an elective monarchy. Hence all the talk of an election in Hamlet. That's the key... use the mask to make everyone love you, and vote for you, then "alter" the deal so you're supreme ruler of all haha
  4. That is true, in his fight with Zaktan he was really steamed after seeing what was happening to Kopaka and Gali and the rest, and then then Zaktan taunted him about using his Hau and staying on the defensive. I see your point. Yeah exactly. I always loved that fight, because Zaktan was my favorite of the Piraka, and Tahu was my favorite Toa by far, so it's like "Oh my gosh, this is so epic!!" But yeah... I digress lol
  5. I'm liking it so far. And the Vorox are by far one of my favs as far as Glatorian species go, so I was glad to see how they're going on, (even though it is sad that they got tampered with). And I did find it interesting that you made their digression to primal state a side effect of the Great Beings tampering, but I must ask, do you plan to keep Kabrua and his "jungle" band of Vorox who kept their intelligence? Or have you gotten that far yet? Just curious about it all, I am hoping there's a small remnant of them who "survive" it.
  6. Xplode!! There's something to be said about a explosion crazed self-employed billionaire villain! "I don't need your money... I work for the thrill"
  7. Actually that was confirmed as false, about Avak's powers, he was lying to Kopaka. He got those powers from Spiriah, just like almost all the Skakdi. Also, I found this interesting, but during the Final Battle, Nektann never used any of his powers to fight Tahu with. We never found out what his vision power was, nor his other ability. All we know about him is that he was a water element Skakdi. But I still think he should've put up a better fight, he was a warlord for crying out loud.
  8. Something that doesn't yield profits In such a scenario, one has to hope for a Mask of Rahi control(or equivalent), or you're the main course. Haha yeah I know, but you guys listen most of the ones that actually give you profit...
  9. I wonder what would happen if you used a Mask of Summoning when visiting a zoo... hehe
  10. Mask of Charisma, convince everyone to vote for you for King of the world lol
  11. Mask of Mutation. Instant cure for cancer (which basically is mutated cells) you'd make a million. (either that or everyone will be after you trying to steal your mask because they want the money lol)
  12. You know, I really, really don't like the Mohtrek's power description either. He never allowed pulled out any true past selves anyways, as they all had his Karda Nui form, so why not just say it's a mask that clones the user? Sounds much simpler, and while there's just as much magic going on, it is less convoluted magic. Actually in one of the books, Bitil had used his mask when he had captured Onua, and when he brings back a few duplicates, the narrator mentions that Onua noticed that one of the duplicates actually didn't look like Bitil at all. So in fact he does use his further past selves fairly often, it just doesn't mention it every time, you can just guess, "oh, this one is from Karda Nui, and this other one was from when he was visiting Xia, or so forth."
  13. Or a Kiril, so that whenever my Lego pieces snap apart or break I can easily fix it.
  14. I confess I am guilty of such an actions while being a Toa of Psionics also haha
  15. Oh! Mask of Truth for a cop/FBI agent or something like that. Or for a court case, you can tell instantly when someone is lying to you. That'd be cool.
  16. Ahhh I see. Very nicely done. Totally adorable.
  17. I think this may have been due to fans seeing the Kanohi more as the character's fixed faces than often-changing masks. Well, the axle connections in Kanohi started with the Avohkii and the Kraahkan, so they officially started after the Bohrok-Kal. I'm betting they did it because the main function of the Rahi/Bohrok/Kal were so that the villains could knock off the heroes masks, especially with the Bohrok's case replacing them with Krana. The Rahkshi didn't use said function so it was alright afterwards to have masks that didn't come off so easily.
  18. Aw that's adorable. Now I wonder... is there a story behind the ferret?
  19. Well it is true, but what gave them their personalities were their Krana-kal. Powerful Bohrok or not, they were still just machines, with the Krana controlling them. And it was said that they were able to escape the destruction that followed so, all the Nuva basically did was destroy the machines housing the brains. So technically no one really "died"
  20. Set wise? definitely making the sets not clones of each other. That and introducing more masks in 2006 onward, I always enjoyed collecting newer masks. Story wise? Making the Piraka not one in a thousand villains like the visorak and bohrok. They actually developed the characters and gave them personalities and made them the villains I love to hate.
  21. I like it! Can't wait to see it all in action!
  22. We weren't ever discussing how he could potentially be killed. Also, the Ignika isn't on Spherus Magna and Tahu could never use it. Um, the Ignika is on SM......but Tahu could probably never use it, unless Mata Nui was kicked out of the Ignika somehow. Oh, you're right; though Mata Nui's spirit is still dormant in the Ignika, right? Would the Ignika still be able to use it's powers? I think the way it works is, when Mata Nui is "dormant" inside, the Ignika works the same way it did when it was on Voya Nui. It could make guardians for itself, and curse anyone who isn't destined to touch it, it's just when Mata Nui is "in control" is when it acts somewhat differently (giving weapons powers etc)
  23. Zamor, and a close second is thornax launcher. Plus Thornax can use zamor too. (plus there's a bunch of different type of zamor to collect )
  24. You could start your own "magic" show too lol, but actually use real illusions and such, you'd outrank every magician out there.
