  1. Bart approved. Alright, let's get this show on the road! --- GM IC: DASH JUSTICE // ALPHA TEAM HQ LEVEL ZERO "Hello agents," the Alpha Team leader said (although it was more of a grunt). "Your mission is simple; the treasure hunter Johnny Thunder is stuck within China, in an old city called Xi'an. He and his crew are searching for one of the treasures of Marco Polo - intel recently informed us that Ogel has been helping Thunder's rival to gather the other pieces, undoubtedly for nefarious purposes. Your job will be to help Johnny Thunder and his team reach the Dragon Fortress first, and retrieve at least one of the Marco Polo treasures at all costs. If Ogel gets his hands on all four, the results could be catastrophic." He nodded to several scientists, each of whom stepped forward with backpacks for each team member. "These packs contain supplies for the mission - each one contains a length of rope, some matches, a small pickaxe, and a flashlight. When you go through the Vortex Generator, you'll arrive at one of our Mobile Command Centers outside the city - there you'll meet Radia, who will be your field leader for this mission, as well as receive communication units. The redhead beside me, as you all know, is Cam Attaway; she'll be manning the Mobile Command Center while you're in the city, and will manage your team from afar. Are there any questions? GM IC: OGEL // OGEL ALLIANCE HQ COMMAND HALL "In a few moments, you will all be traveling through our Vortex Generator to China, where our new friend Sam Sinister and his entourage await your arrival," Ogel said, his voice gravelly. "Alpha Team has become aware of our involvement with him and seeks to put an end to our bid to gather the four treasures of Marco Polo. It is your job to stop this from occurring. Each of you will be granted a Skeleton Drone bodyguard for this mission to increase your chances; these Skeleton Drones are currently awaiting you by the Vortex Generator with backpacks for each of you containing some supplies. Morro here will be joining you on the mission to... guarantee Lord Sinister's continued cooperation." As he fell silent, he waved his hook dismissively; Morro stood up. "Alright, you heard Lord Ogel," the ghostly green warrior said. "Let's move out!" OOC: I assume Bartholomew starts with teh other Adventurers?
  2. Name: Bartholomew Worthington Braxworth Canon: Original Species: Human/minifig Theme/World: Adventurers Allegiance: Alpha Team Appearance: Bartholomew tends to wear a brown trenchcoat with about a zillion pockets in it of varying sizes. Equipment: Within the trenchcoat he stores a first-aid kit, revolver, wrench, several metal bits, a few bolts, a spyglass with removable lenses to serve dual-purpose as a magnifying glass(his own invention) and a 6ft long strand of paracord. Bio: Bartholomew was, from an early age, told to be like his brothers, who were great explorers, sailors, and governors. All of his attempts at this failed drastically due to his absolute incapability of paying attention to what he was supposed to be doing. As such, he got yelled at, told to come back when he was good for something, and got kicked out.
  3. IC: If one happened to be near Jameson at the time, one would hear a constant torrent of complaints as the engineer climbed up into the cockpit of Sunbeam and ran a systems check. "Thrusters... go. Weapons are go. Computers and power are check." And Sunbeam ran towards the bridge, activating its thrusters once it had enough space.
  4. OOC: Okay. IC Jameson: "Bolt that in there..." Jameson shoved off from the cradle, spun, and managed to get next to his desk. Tapping furiously on a keyboard, he looked at the calculated readouts. "Dang. Waitaminute, maybe if I insert a dynamic power management function to the outputs..." "Wait are those alarms?"
  5. Yes and no. Yes in the sense that so far people have gotten temporary Battle Machines if their main is out of commission, but two mechs completely their own wouldn't sit well with those in charge. For the humans, at least, they are fighting a losing battle, after all. Robots probably have multiple versions of their own mech, however, depending on how high up they are in the ranks. OOC: Would it be alright if at some point in the future Jameson decided to ditch Sunbeam and use something else?
  6. What about Jameson and the Sunbeam?
  7. Wow. That's amazing. I really liked the voice thing you did for the blue one.
  8. IC SU-51: Repairs and recharge complete. Commencing tactical analysis. SU-51 plugged himself into the mainframe and began accessing tactical records, running through virtual scenarios over and over again. Name: Jameson Gender: M Age: 24-ish Species: Human Appearance: Jameson is fairly short, with a pair of flight goggles modded for interchangeable lenses perpetually on his head. Skill(s): Jameson is incredibly good at modding and fixing stuff. While he is okay at conducting 'normal' repairs, it's nearly impossible to get him to do so. Everything in his Battle machine has been completely redesigned three or four times, and Jameson knows the layout well enough to fix it blindfolded. Personality: Jameson is completely distracted. When he's not working on his mech, he's either playing games or trying to reverse-engineer whatever he can find. He enjoys collecting stuff. Weakness(es): Jameson is distracted easily when not in combat. He is also fairly easy to surprise. Designation: Jameson calls it the Sunbeam. Type: Modified Gate Guardian Equipment: (Weapons and other such equipment, not at all restricted to what is normally equipped on Battle Machines, though keep common sense in mind. You're not likely to see an Uplink running around with a Thunder Fury's Ion Cannon. Weapon hardpoints [places where equipment can be attached] include both “hands”, shoulders, and the torso.) Right Shoulder: A full vectoring jet thruster that compliments the Gate Guardian's already present flight capabilities, making it extremely maneuverable.Left Shoulder: Another full vectoring thruster.Right Hand: A rapid-fire laser gun.Left Hand: A blaster that fires a superheated plasma disk that's usually enough to slice entire limbs off a Sentry II.Torso: The torso houses several flares.Appearance: The entire thing is a really bright neon yellow. Other than that and the big vectoring jets, it's not too different from a normal Gate Guardian.. Notes: This is only Jameson's current useable mech. He's in the process of heavily modding a Grand Titan with Supernova parts to create something he has dubbed the Scorching Flare.
  9. That is brilliant. Not quite how I imagined him, but this is a fantastic rendering.
  10. So do we PM them the present, or post it on the appropriate board and then PM them?
  11. IC Overflow: "Well. That was.... Unexpected.", Overflow said, tapping a few buttons to terminate the sonic programs. He bent over to help Drift up.
  12. OOC: Do brains have ears? If so, all of them in the room should theoretically be pretty disoriented by Overflow's move, including the one on Shard, because while it has direct access to Shard's senses, presumably it is still using its own senses, which aren't being protected the same way. IC Overflow: Overflow's armor suddenly became a confusing orientation of various bright colors, making him very confusing to look at, as his clamshell continued to play the loud sound.
  13. OOC: Would the brain actually be able to access Shard's audio sensors to pick up on the comms? IC: "Great.", Parcival muttered to himself, tapping on the clamshell. He shortly burst into the area where the fight was going on. "Now!", he said with a dramatic flourish, pushing a button. Immedietly, an extremely loud, high pitched pulsing noise came from teh clamshell, completely unconducive to concentration. But anyone who had his comm tuned into the frequency Parcival had transmitted would be unaffected. OOC: I feel like this move will not make sense without an explanation. So here one is: Parcival is playing a very loud noise through his clamshell. The clamshell is transmitting a direct accoustic copy of the sound, but reverse through the frequency. This will cancel out the sound around the Heroes' ears, protecting them, but the loud sound should still disrupt the Brains.
  14. IC Kavinav: "Thanks. It's just that I'm really new and don't really know how things work around here."
  15. IC Overflow : "Guys, in a few seconds, set your comms to this frequency, " Here Parcival transmitted a specific frequency," Give me a response so I can triangulate you".
  16. OOC : Where are Nex and the others?
  17. That's Kol by the way, sorry for not making it clear.
  18. IC SU-51 Diagnostic: modified Sentry 2 Armor integrity: 81% Primary weaponry power: 90% Secondary weaponry power: 90% Commencing repairs. SU-51 directed the mechanical arms towards the appropriate sections of his modified Sentry 2
  19. IC Kavinav: Kavinav continued walking around, looking for his dorm. Kavinav having no clue where said dorm was, it wasn't long before he found the Refectory. Well, he was hungry anyway. Getting in line, he tapped the shoulder of the Rahkshi in front of him. "I don't suppose you could tell me how to get to the dorms?"
  20. IC Overflow: Finishing up the programs, Overflow's holoemitter projected a completely out-of-place patch of bright color, in a rudimentary attempts at camoflage. He ran down the halls, towards the door that had the most noise originating from it.
  21. IC Overflow: "Gotcha. Be up in a sec.", Parcival said, tapping like mad on his clamshell as he raced into an elevator. On the way up, he composed two seperate programs; One was an audio pulse that pulsed a high-frequency disorienting tone, and the other would transmit the opposing frequency in identical bursts over a radio frequency.
  22. But wouldn't the blades be really heavy, especially if they're that long?
  23. OOC: It's just over the general HF comm frequency.
