    I like it so far, particularly how it's telling both Kopeke's story and the legend he's listening to. I hope Kopeke himself has more interesting adventures.

    An alternative way to rationalize it is that Matoran count in base 6. 100,000 for them is what we would write as 7,776. Their number system looks suspiciously base-6-ish as well.

    I think the easiest solution is just to say that Gold Good Guy and Matoran Jaller simply use slightly inaccurate masks due to set limitations.

    Name: Kanohi Altrahl, Mask of Transference Power: Allows the user to take a power of one thing, and temporarily give it to a being. The power may come from a being, creature or object. Weaknesses: The user must maintain concentration. Cannot transfer powers to the user. The source of the power will lack the power for the duration of the transference. Powers relating to other powers, like Transference, Emulation, Kindred and Nullification, cannot be transferred. Description/Photo: Due to its rarity, no single design was ever assigned to it. The best-known example was curved with horizontal slits for eyes and mouth, and flowing curved ridges across its surface. Kanoka: Cannot be made from Kanoka. Noble: Can transfer powers from inanimate objects only. Nuva: Can transfer multiple powers of one target to a being.

    While we're on the subject, does anyone have any idea how to get a 1.1m pin/stud out of a Barraki eye? I can't find any way to get leverage on the eye itself, it's too smooth.

    Worst possible license: Lego xkcd. Every set would be a blank-white backdrop with blank-white minifigures, occasionally with blank-white hair or hats. (Don't get me wrong, the comic is hilarious, but it has no building toy value.)

    No, I think it's pretty effective storytelling which reveals that Tahu has subconscious memory of... something... despite his amnesia.
