  1. You could just link to Teresa's user page and title it "Overpriced set of Bionicle listings".
  2. Is there an estimated release date for chapter 14?
  3. Best MOC of Mata Nui I've ever seen! I like the rusted parts, and pretty much all the details from the original model are present.
  4. A bit off topic here, but speaking of the Kingdom Universe, was it ever stated what happened to the Toa Nuva?
  5. Bionicle ends Greg continues serials But then he does not
  6. Speaking of cross-wired freaks, why did Vakama even have those visions? Probably wasn't Mata Nui giving them to him as he was too busy looking at pretty things in space, and could have easily intervened with Makooti's shenanigans himself if that wasn't the case.
  7. Naughty seller. I feel sorry for whoever won that auction.
  8. What movies? At this point in G1 we've only had a few online flash animations. Mask of Light, Legends of Metru Nui, Web of Shadows and The Legend Reborn. Yes, the original comment was overanalyzing, but was rather humerous. Anyway, this discussion is going a bit off-topic don't you think?
  9. He's probably referring to Bionicle Gen 2's lack of TV show, decent story material, and advertising/promotional material. It appears that LEGO doesn't seem to have much faith in the line so far. Though hopefully the upcoming Netflix show will help the theme a bit. Did BIONICLE G1 have a TV show? I think you can't really blame LEGO for not risking it all from the outset for a niche theme. Apart from big-band themes like Ninjago, Chima and Nexo Knights, BIONICLE has been getting more than any other LEGO theme, including eight(!) 14-karat gold masks. G1 may have not had a TV show, but it had TONS of promotional material and plenty of advertising. It also got a bunch of movies, comics and well made promo videos. None of which are present in G2. It may be getting more than most themes, but I feel if LEGO gave it closer to what the themes you mentioned have, it would overall be more solid of a theme. Ninjago of course has the budget it has due to becoming extremely popular since it was introduced, with the TV show getting three times more episodes per season than season 1 did, however Nexo Knights is a brand new theme, and it already has a TV show and it sounds like LEGO is going to give it plenty of care, so it's unfortunate that Bionicle (a new theme that had a very positive history in it's previous incarnation and also saved LEGO from bankruptcy) doesn't get quite what it deserves. Even simply hiring voice actors for the characters in the animations would be a big step in the right direction, as the voices (or voice, rather) have been quite the turnoff for many people regarding the animations, Bionicle's main source of story material at this time.

  11. Seeing the very small budget Gen 2 has, I'm guessing it did some damage to constraction as a whole due to the later years. *cough*invasionfrombelow*cough*
  12. We almost got a set of him, but then LEGO decided to make him silver and call him Bulk instead.(Bulk and Vapor 2-pack) Where on earth are you getting that info? I've never seen anything to suggest that Bulk and Vapor was meant to include Thresher, and personally I'd be extremely skeptical if that's only an assumption.I heard somewhere that he was originally intended to be Thresher, I could be wrong through.Bulk in that set is literally just a recolour away from being Thresher. EDIT: After a little research I've found it is mentioned on Brickipedia (see the notes section). http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/7179_Dunkan_Bulk_and_Vapour "It is believed" with no source... Hardly better than "my uncle who works at Lego told me". Thresher was at best a side character who never appeared outside of flashbacks, and to me it seems far more likely that they reused an alternate form of Bulk for him in the TV special (like the many, many other reused elements in the Hero Factory episodes) than it would be for a set of him to have been planned but turned into an existing character. That makes sense. Still would've been a nice set though.

  15. Or maybe Okoto is an island on Spherus Magna thousands of years into the future after everyone from G1 is gone, and the Protectors (future Turaga) summoned heroes of the past using the Mask of Time but for now at least they lost their memories in their journey? But who knows. (and Ekimu's mask of creation is the same one from G1, passed down though generations of mask makers, creators and such by Artakha)
  16. Wouldn't mind an update on that. I have a pearl gold Kraahkan and may be willing to trade it depending on what you've got. Is the mask present in the set?
  17. I Googled this name as an exact phrase, and actually found two totally different results with the same mistake...plus one unrelated result about Club Penguin. We should get this to achieve memetic status! "Bonkle Chroniclers One: Tale of the Tao" by Gerg Fashley. i wurk alnoe
  18. Were you so excited to post that comment you had to say it twice?
