  1. If saying "Please don't fall over (again)," or "Please stay together," count, then yes, I have 'talked' to my sets.
  2. I'm loving the fact that the story is finally picking up. While it's moving up, keep up the good work! Totally not trying to sound clever right there. Nope. I don't know what you're talking about.
  3. I was just trying to make the example that Bionicle isn't "The greatest story ever made and revered by the world". Even though some think it is one of the best, I don't, and I certainly did not expect the animations to portray the story as something world-moving. It's just a toy line with a story to boot, albeit a good story to tell.
  4. Easy solution: ignore him entirely. Whether he has a legit opinion or is just trashing something, if he's annoying you, just stay away. EDIT: Just found what you're talking about. Take 'im down, Nick! He's... insufferable. He just won't stop until I accept his "reality" that it is NOT OKAY to like anything about G2. And yeah, it'd be easy to just call him a troll, but... no. He really does believe in every thing he says to a fanatic degree. It's crazy. Like... he's completely flooded my video reviews of the new sets and killed any discussion that could still potentially be had. His cat's face is everywhere, now. Isn't there a "Block [insert person here] from channel" option on Youtube settings? Anyway, ignore him, but if it's bothering you that much, try to block him from anything you upload. I don't really know how to do that, but I know it can be done in Youtube settings. Anyway, now that the animations have concluded for the year, I don't really know how to feel about them. They served their purpose, and you could tell at the end that the budget was running out just by the pacing. I admire them for what they are: advertisements that work in getting people to buy the product. As for the story, I think it is good for the medium in which it was produced, but not the best story in the world. I feel like people got so hyped last October that they thought 2015 was going to have the next "great American novel" or something, but I digress. I went in with low expectations, and I am now impressed by what I have seen. However, this is definitely not the next "great American novel"; I knew from the get-go that it wouldn't be, either. How do you top stories like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or The Great Gatsby if you're a children's toy commercial? You don't, and that's what I expected.
  5. I am happy to announce that the Bionicle Comedy Central will be holding its first contest! Rules can be found in the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8QRFXkVKaw If you don't want to watch the video, here are the rules: Build a Halloween-themed MOC and link a video or photo gallery of it in the comments section of the above video. Only entries posted to the comments section of the above video will be considered. DO NOT POST ENTRIES IN THIS TOPIC! POST THEM ON THE VIDEO! Entries are due on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015. Prizes will be discussed in a future video sometime before the entry period closes. Winners will be announced Halloween night! Sadly, we're not hosting livestreams anymore. Not enough people would come to them, and they were a pain to get everyone together for the chunk of time they took place. However, we still have other videos that we're releasing at a regular pace, so go on over there and watch 'em!
  6. Check the front page, go to Talkback, sift through Bionicle Discussion, Fan-Created Media, Comics. Check my profile, and end session.
  7. I'd like to see the Philadelphia Art Museum as a set. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
  8. Very nice review! I really can't think of much else to say; you pretty much nailed it in comparison to your review of the Toa a few months back. I pretty much share opinions with most people in saying that while the Skull guys aren't as amazing as the sets from the winter wave, they are still amazing sets.
  9. Oh hey look, an existential crisis! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGJzT0xtais
  10. This goes to show that great things come to those who are patient.
  11. I liked it when I read it, but I couldn't get over how he wouldn't plan anything out. I mean, it's my understanding that if you're going to write a story, you should plan out how you are going to go about writing said story and map out the events from beginning to end. I'm speaking more to the serials, of course. I know he had to meet an end for the main stories.
  12. To my knowledge, the Wild West theme was the first to be revived. It first came out in the 90's and then Lego decided to sell the same sets again in the early 2000's.
  13. Not much has changed with this guy, but the changes I did make were decent ones. Have a look at the album here: http://imgur.com/a/qJkSs
  14. Album can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/BytYS This is Toa Valia, the resident Toa of Light in my line of characters as well as my sister's self-MOC. It only makes sense that her element be Light, because my real life sister is so happy all the time that she makes my life that much brighter.
  15. I went to the exact article you pointed out in the OP and read through it starting at the phrase you pointed out. Clarification will be found exactly one paragraph after the phrase in the OP.
  16. Having trouble with mathematics? Leo is here to help! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKy6wLA7N4c
  17. Rode. It's my staple at this point, and being smart enough to not be outsmarted by a disguise or a simple lie is pretty awesome.
  18. I could think of oh so many comebacks to these, it wouldn't even be funny. One is: "Bullies have always told me to get a life, and never has it been in the context of Bionicle, but always in reference to school and doing good things for others. Now I am doing just that, working in an immunology laboratory and being a full time nursing student with a 4.0 GPA, all the while keeping my friends, family, and hobbies close to me. So stop trying to get a response out of others and leave if you really don't like it here. I guess it isn't your thing. Sorry."
  19. Be a winner all the time!

Not as easy as it sounds...

      Winners don't lose!

  20. The playsets were interesting, and I wish I had gotten more of them when they were still around. It would be nice to see playlets return in the future, and having seen fan creations of what that future may look like, I am more than pleased.
  21. The chat section is working for some reason...
  22. I may be able to make it to the stream. Any info on what the Star Wars polybags are? At this point, I'm guessing a mini Prototype TIE Advanced, but I would be very pleased if you were lucky enough to nab a few TFA C-3PO minifigs.
  23. Gee, Gali's my favorite character! You wot mate?
  24. Vakama "Let's tell the Toa about all these prophecies about their enemies at the moment they happen instead of telling them beforehand in order to prepare. I'm sure that none of the villages will be destroyed and that the Toa will be prepared anyway." -Later- "I'm a terrible leader! I should have warned them!"
  25. The stickers haven't fallen off on mine, and I got him back in January. The stickers, from what I have noticed, seem to hold on pretty well and do not easily come off.
