  1. OOC: Had to at least try, right? Seeing as to how Septima's my only other character that's not interaction-locked at the moment, and I have absolutely no idea what to do with her, I guess I'll just be slipping back into inactivity then. No big deal. IC: Taranis and Tenjin - The Iron Mahi (Passenger Car) Great... Prison with this Karz-Head again. How wonderful. "Whatever... #######," Taranis growled, gritting his teeth in agony. "Go ####... yourself, Brakas..." "Just a... forewarning, but you're... probably going to... need to... knock him out. He's really not ... known for his... intelligence..."
  2. Finished editing my most recent reply for the Vorox Quest. Apologies for the inconvenience, but one of Ghidora's managed to slip by me before I actually got around to posting. I'll give you two some time to make any necessary changes before I start typing up another.

IC: Saffina - The Wastes (The Crimson Takea) Turning towards Ektana, the Vortixx surprisingly agreed. "Not of the Bara Magnan variety, no; from my experience, they're more prone to start burrowing back into the ground with their tails tucked between their legs upon having a couple of flares shot at them. Word is, however, that their Bota Magnan cousins never suffered from such regression, thus leaving both their intelligence and mental faculties relatively intact. Given the current situation, I'd say that it's much more likely that we're dealing with the latter, though expecting some of the former to be amongst them might be for the best as well." Returning her focus to "Velmes," she took a moment to compose herself once again before attempting to address his concerns. "The primary goal of this operation is to secure the cargo from the wreckage, not to go blindly gallivanting off towards their main camp, where they'll clearly have the advantage in terrain and numbers. We're here to get what we came for, deal with anything that gets in our way, and then get out. Anything else beyond that is outside of our mission parameters. And considering that such a weapon already is in the possession of said Vorox, chances are that they would try to use it on us if given the chance, yes. As for whether or not it's still somewhere down in the valley, the odds of that still being the case are quite high, provided, of course, that it isn't mobile. Fortunately, the route we're taking right now won't be bringing us anywhere near there, so unless it can somehow magically shoot through cliffs, we should be safely out of its range." "Assuming that these two locations sat along the ship's original course, it's intended destination was probably Cliffside. Since it departed from Tesara, some of its contents are most definitely going to be a various assortment of rations, though the possibility of it containing vehicle components and or weaponry shouldn't be entirely discounted yet, either. We won't know exactly what it was carrying onboard until the actual manifest has been located, but I highly doubt the crew would've even attempted such a journey without at least a few different forms of protection." Continuing to make similar preparations for the rest of her pouches, Saffina eventually ended up picking up her spoon before beginning to twirl it around with her fingers. "The notice I put up in Capstone should've been enough to give you both an idea as to what exactly you were getting yourselves into, while simultaneously lessening the likelihood of hiring the occasional Karz-Head who only pretends to join up, soley in the hopes of bailing at the last possible second and making off with the loot themselves. Vagueness, subtlety, and deception ensure that you survive in this business, and I personally plan on living for a long, long time."

IC: Saffina - The Wastes (The Crimson Takea) "Either that, or this particular group somehow managed to get their hands on some pretty advanced weaponry, or possibly even a few vehicles of their own," she stated. "As powerful as those native Thornax fruits can be, hitting an airship in mid-flight with one would be quite the feat, especially if you factor in that the attack likely originated from down in the valley. Understandably so, I'm a bit skeptical that the entire lot of them were able to pull off such a shot with enough repetition to bring down something of that size." Ever so slightly tearing open the pouch containing her main course, she activated one of her miniaturised Heatstone bags before gently popping it inside and waiting for the meal to cook itself. "Aside from them, however, we should also keep an eye out for other incoming vessels. Tesara probably won't start looking for the crew or cargo anytime soon, considering they might not even expect them to return yet, nor should they have received word about the crash, as I have it on good authority that there were only two survivors, both of whom were still in Cliffside when we departed. That being said, I've been doing things like this for quite a while now, and there have been more than a few occasions where a shifty contact has decided to re-sell their information to other prospective buyers after coin has already exchanged hands, so I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up running into some... competition at one point or another, either."

IC: Saffina - The Wastes (The Crimson Takea) Stepping through the doorway, the duo would soon find themselves greeted by the standard trappings and fixtures one would come to expect from the dining areas of most commercial airships. Positioned along the walls sat tables large enough to seat a large crew, most of which were expected to remain empty, for obvious reasons. Towards the back of the room sat an actual kitchen, stocked with various types of cookware hanging from their place on the ceiling, a few different appliances to facilitate the actual preparation of meals, and two additional doors leading into the ship's pantry and walk-in freezer, respectively. A variety of spices and non-perishable ingredients sat upon the counter tops, simply waiting for the right individual to come along and use them in a culinary masterpiece fit for a king. Unfortunately, however, any dreams the pair might have had about filling up on a home-cooked meal were about to be dashed, as Saffina herself wasn't much of a chef. Letting the others situate themselves wherever, the Vortixx briefly made her way towards the pantry, procuring three of the MREs she had previously purchased in bulk from a group of military deserters back in Cliffside before unceremoniously dumping two of them on the table for the Skakdi and Matoran. While their contents probably weren't the best thing they'd ever tasted, at least they couldn't complain about not having been fed, and any potential concerns about her poisoning them were now more or less alleviated, as it would've been easily noticeable if someone had indeed tampered with the packets beforehand. On the flipside, though, if one of them proved to be incapable of something as simple as preparing their own food, then they could always be used as cannon fodder... "Dig in," she said, placing the map on the table and unraveling it for all to see. "The marker nearest to our current position represents the remains of a Tesaran airship that was reportedly shot down by Vorox recently. The one above the valley is where they originally came under fire, and presumably the closest location we have to the main camp of their attackers. Our primary goal is to secure the crash site, and recover whatever we can in terms of cargo before anyone else decides to start snooping around in the hopes of claiming it for themselves. While not an immediate priority, should we happen to encounter any resistance from the locals, Tesara may also provide us with an additional bounty per head, as we'd effectively be assisting them by securing one of their own trade routes as well. All in all, should events proceed favorably, each and every one of us can expect a fairly lucrative payday." She paused for a moment, letting that sink in as she started fiddling with her own food. "Any questions?"

OOC: Seeing as to how it's been seven days, two timeskips, a setting change, and we're nowhere near anyone else, I think we're good on travel time. IC: Saffina - The Wastes (The Crimson Takea) Having done what she said she would by landing the Takea some distance away from the actual crash site, the Vortixx proceeded to finish implementing her own personal anti-theft measures before finally exiting the cockpit, only to immediately be pestered by the clearly impatient Matoran. "Good things come to those who wait, Matoran," she smirked, assuming that this would remind "Velmes" of his place aboard her ship, which was still currently locked down from its previous flight. "However, in this case, I do agree that the two of you have waited long enough." Shutting the door behind her and brandishing the map for him to see, she continued past him and down the corridor, expecting him to be not too far behind her. "Kindly inform Ektana that we will be convening in the mess hall, would you? No use planning on an empty stomach."
  7. Uh, yeah, dude. Honestly, I can't think of an RPG in this forum that wouldn't allow you to break away from an inactive interaction, provided you aren't participating in a GM Quest, of course; that's just something you normally don't have to ask to do.
  8. I seem to recall someone working on a Federation of Fear RPG a while back as well. Whatever happened to that one, anyway? Might be cool to see some more villains running around.
  9. And thus, the era of implementing RPG Crossovers was born. We're still trying to recover from the fallout to this very day.
  10. Isn't it obvious? Xara just made it onto the List of Jericho. Drink it in, man.

IC: Saffina - Cliffside (The Crimson Takea) Having retrieved the map she had procured from the strandees once again, the Vortixx continued to study it, all the while watching on as the Skakdi and the Matoran boarded the ship with their gear. Upon observing that they had completed their task, she rolled the parchment back up and proceeded to stuff it back into her armor before closing the cargo bay door and addressing the pair one final time before takeoff. "Feel free to claim one of the Takea's empty cabins for yourselves should you feel the need to rest up during the journey. We'll be touching down again once we're within a few kio of the crash site, where I'll fill you both in on the rest of the details." Taking her leave and heading back towards the cockpit, she eventually found herself inside and began reassembling key components of the pulley system, allowing the rest of the vehicle to actually respond to the input at the controls. Minutes later, and the airship had lifted itself into the sky, slowly veering away from Cliffside as its interior filled with the familiar sound of Kanoka striking its massive frame.
  12. *Ahem* (Insert overly dramatic narration here.) Was Nato able to deduce that starting a new paragraph sometimes means switching topics? Will Ghidora try to express things more clearly in the future? And can either of them ever hold a conversation with one another without resorting to some type of verbal barb? Find out on the next episode of... Corpus Rahk-Z! ... ... ... Seriously though, take a breather before your respective power levels go over 9,000 and one of us GMs decide to destroy your planet for fun.
  13. Yeah, that mostly involved signing and drawing letters in the dirt, from what I can remember. The closest we ever had to actual verbal communication between the two was when a Rahkshi of Sonics (Era?) pulled a Bumblebee and simply used their powers to mimic the Matoran's voices. The main point I was trying to make here, though, was that there wasn't anything major that needed changing. Besides, Gorast had the student body level Phantom and kill off all of its inhabitants some time ago anyway, so Kororia's chances of actually running into any of them around the school are pretty slim at best.
  14. IC: Taranis and Tenjin - The Iron Mahi (Passenger Car) Even with the last bout of attacks positioning their bodies parallel with the aisle, leaving their attention divided between the two groups currently flanking them, things did not go as intended for either Taranis or Tenjin. Unaware of the shot aimed towards his kneecap, the Vo-Skakdi buckled over almost immediately, diverting the majority of his concentration towards the burning substance still trying to melt its way through his appendage as he growled in pain. Needless to say, not only did the elemental attack dissipate entirely because of this, but there was already so much adrenaline pumping through his veins that he didn't even feel one of the prisms tear into his left shoulder until it had already started expanding. His sibling, on the other hand, wasn't fairing much better. Ducking his head and reflexively raising his arm in an effort to at least somewhat fend off the shield this time around, he had already begun to feel himself being pulled down towards the floor long before the blow had even managed to connect, throwing him off-balance enough so that the other two projectiles buried themselves into his hip and thigh. Gritting his teeth and leveling his weapon towards his currently unguarded attacker in response as he fell, he soon thought better of it, and fired off another blast towards the nearest Matoran, hoping that the do-gooder would throw themselves in front of it and possibly buy them some much-needed time. "We're cutting our losses, Tenjin! Time to get out of here!" Nodding through his agony and tossing a bit of ball lightning towards the Ga-Toa to ensure some small degree of separation, the duo quickly gazed upon the closest section of wall and summoned up a continuous barrage of Laser and Impact Vision, blindly forcing themselves back onto their feet as they prepared to ram themselves into it with all of their combined body weight. Was it a desperate plan that reeked of stupidity? Yeah. Did it leave them wide open to further assault? Sure. Were they likely to sustain even more injuries due to the resulting heat, possibility of broken metal, and the act of jumping off of a moving train itself? Probably. But the pair had already been inside Po-Koro's prison system once before, and in their minds, this was still a much better alternative. Whether they would actually succeed or not was another matter entirely.
  15. @Zippy: From my understanding, a Kraata would have to be outside of its suit to infect a mask fully, yes. Seeing as to how the infection is mostly contained to one relatively small area and isn't actually spreading, however, I'm assuming that this could really just be chalked up to some sort of an allergic reaction on Xenia's part than actual power usage, since Kanohi don't usually come into contact with Kraata aside from that particular process anyway. So long as you keep in mind what is actually required in order to do so, I'd personally be willing to let this slide, as it has relatively little impact whatsoever, though Scorp and Sergei are still allowed to overrule this as they see fit. I am a bit iffy on the language barrier, though; having Kororia understand Matoran but not be able to speak it is fine, since that's basically how we've been treating it from day one, but since Rahkshi language is primarily composed of hissing, a Matoran's probably not going to understand much (unless they're signing) aside from possibly tone. Again, minor, but something to keep in mind nonetheless. @Nato: I believe we've said it once already, but I'll repeat it again just for the sake of clarity; while we would've loved to continue forward with the Rebel Questline, we have absolutely no idea where Wyrd intended to go with it. Throw in the fact that it's currently operating outside the standard parameters of the RPG, and we feel that it would be best to leave it untouched for him to personally continue if/when he is able to eventually return. That being said, Xara is your character, so the decision of what to do with her is left entirely up to you. If you feel that you can realistically get her back to the school given the circumstances, then we're likely not going to question it in a GM capacity. As of right now, however, our current priorities are approvals and rule enforcement, whether or not events will be making a comeback (since everyone seems rather content with simply doing their own thing), and if there's a need to introduce new or manage existing staff characters. While we once again offer our apologies to the players affected by this decision, we also hope that you can at least understand our desire to not screw things up royally.

OOC: Guess that's everybody, then. Here we go! If you want, you can all apply a relatively minor timeskip just to keep things moving; we've waited long enough as it is. IC: Saffina - Cliffside (The Crimson Takea) Taking note of the position of the suns and making sure there wasn't anyone else lined up behind Ektana and "Velmes," Saffina lazily stretched one final time before simply returning to her feet. Towering over them as most members of her species often did, she continued to sip at what remained of her beverage before finally addressing the rest of her motley crew. "You tell me; I'm the one being kept waiting," she smiled, sparing one more brief glance at her surroundings and seeing a distinct lack of any personal vehicles besides her own. "Make your preparations, gather your belongings, and load them all into the cargo bay. We depart within the hour." And with that, the Vortixx folded up her cot and sauntered back onto her ship, ready to set off on what appeared to be yet another fruitful endeavor.
  17. Nah, I'm good. I can already see where this is going, so I'm just going to opt out and save myself the trouble. Thanks anyway, I guess.
  18. So Kriev and Mute are 100% approved, then? If so, let me know so I can add them to the list. The latter looks good to me, so I'm fine with this.
  19. Since we didn't use the Discord method for Zippy's profile, you should probably hold off for a little bit until Scorp and Sergei have had the chance to chime in on Kriev. Just thought I should throw that out there.

IC: Saffina - Cliffside (The Crimson Takea) Well, now... Isn't this amusing... "Word of advice? Watching your tongue might be for the best, little one," she said rather neutrally to the Matoran. "Especially when around individuals who wouldn't think twice about removing it for you, in a settlement in which violence is not only encouraged, but is also the primary way of life." Whether or not she was actually imagining the scene to play out that way, however, was something left up for debate.
  21. Well, technically, we had one; hence why some profiles were given all three approvals in a singular post. Not saying that somebody can't go off and make their own, obviously, but invites to that one in particular were reserved for Co-GMs only. Sorry.
  22. Nice! Should be good for additional parts at the very least.
  23. So we're doing away with the Discord Chat altogether, then? Meh, fine by me, I suppose. Can't find anything glaringly wrong with it. We did have a conversation regarding whether Rahkshi should have clothes or not (aside from capes, scarves, etc.) a while back when we were viewing one of Onaku's characters (Atem), but since you aren't trying to use them to affect gameplay (as in give yourself extra stats and abilities), I suppose it's something that can be overlooked. Approved x3. Aside from assuming that the axe isn't supposed to be a sonic weapon of some sort and some questions about the mini fridge (as in what it uses for a power supply and whether or not my fellow Co-GMs would approve something like that), Kriev looks pretty good as well. Approved x1.
  24. (Readies his obligatory +2 Ban-Hammer of Infinite Smite) Bring it.
