  1. The Lego Bionicle 2004 Vahki Animations used a very compressed version of "The Bionicle Music". So I tried to reconstruct the animation's mix using the much higher quality track from the Power Pack CD. This was the result: Original Animation What do you think? I'm not sure if I'm going to try and do the other 5 Vahki animations or not, since they use more elaborate mixes of the track that could prove to be rather tricky to reproduce. (Syncing the audio and timing it correctly was fairly difficult even with this one.) Also, the opening sting to all the Vahki animations is not in "The Bionicle Music", or at least not any known track of it other than the Vahki animations themselves, so I was unable to make it sound uncompressed. It's pretty interesting, though, to hear what this animation sounds like with higher quality audio. Enjoy the Vahki Bordakh animation with fan-remastered audio!
  2. Also, I had no idea Angry Birds was getting a movie. I wonder if Minecraft will ever get its movie, since the one it was going to get got cancelled since the talks with Mojang didn't work out. (And maybe that's a good thing, since the plans were for a live-action movie, which seemed a bit... not-Minecraft-y?)
  3. Isn't that their unifying design? Time Cruisers' design style was like The Lego Movie, except that the The Lego Movie made it work. That's not to say Time Cruisers wasn't good in its own crazy way, though.

  5. This is a topic for discussing the new Lego video game, Lego Worlds! What do you think of the game? On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate it? In comparison to other Lego games, how good is it? What have you built in the game? What's your favorite part about the game? Are you looking forward to getting it or do you already have it? What would you want to see added to the game? I'm really really REALLY excited about Lego Worlds and can't wait to buy it! From the videos I've seen of it, it looks awesome! Here are some things I would want to be added to the game (that aren't already going to be added like LDD model importing (which is already possible through a manual method) and online multiplayer): CCBS/Constraction PartsMore NPCs and animals (all the collectable minifigures ever released, pigs, and chickens)Minecraft sets (because placing the Lego form of the "Lego of the digital world" in a digital Lego world would be wonderfully meta and hilarious)Lego Dimensions character support (Dimensions minifigs can come with codes you can enter to unlock them in Worlds)At least one Lego Universe or Lego Island easter egg/referenceThe ability to play as a Hero Factory minifigure (or possibly Bionicle minifigs, should that ever happen? Lego Friends is already a thing with a bit of minor modding to unlock unused characters)The ability to custom-generate worlds, such as a superflat world or one-biome-only world, like in Minecraft. Some sort of equivalent to Minecraft's Redstone of the Lego Universe Property Behaviors to allow for custom interactivity and contraptions. I want this the most.Feel free to discuss your thoughts and opinions on Lego Worlds! Technical Stuff: For modders and people wanting to skip collecting everything. How to unlock any character or vehicle, including unused ones (Become a Lego Friend! ) How to fly and change jumpheight, as well as walk under the ocean and other abilites How to import LDD models Other important technical info (thanks to here): The game renders using chunks like in Minecraft. Each chunk is 32x32 studs. When you first start playing on a world, you will spawn somewhere near 2,048 X-coordiante and 2,048 Z-coordinate. This seems to imply that the worlds are 4,096x4,096 chunks, assuming X: 2,048 & Z: 2,048 is the center of the world. This would mean that worlds are 65,536 studs long.Trying to go outside the map boundaries will crash the game. This is confirmed for going to chunk -1 on the X-axis, and is presumably also true for the Z-axis and for chunk 4,096 in each axis. The chunk filenames are 24-bit integers and each axis is 12-bits, interleaved. So a filename for a chunk would be in this format: "XZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZXZ".The game saves any unmodified chunks, as well as whatever was in memory when you quit, AKA the nearest chunks and everything within a short distance from you. This means the game will load in the area around you quickly when you return to the game. Unmodified chunks that are not loaded in memory will not be saved and will be re-generated from the world's seed as you travel near them when you reload the world.
  6. And to add on to that, if a model is imported with bricks that don't exist in the game, then the offending bricks will not be rendered or placed and you can place substitute parts where the other parts would have been. (I don't have the game yet. Nealybealy told me this.) It's really nice to know there's LDD compatibility.
  7. Did anyone see the part of the trailer where it showed easily modifying the surrounding terrain to create mountains and caves so EASILY?!? Never have I ever seen a Lego game I wanted more than this.
  8. My current Lego Dimensions wish list: Starter Pack (duh )Doctor Who Level PackThe Lego Movie Benny Fun PackNinjago Jay Fun PackTOTAL COST: $160 I didn't think I'd ever see a game where Benny, Jay, and the Doctor all go on adventures together. Together, these 3 heroes are... THE BLUE BRICK SQUAD!!! (Because they wear blue clothes and have blue vehicles! )
  9. It doesn't take much to please 12-year olds. That's why it was just named "The Lego Movie". I could care less what the games are called as long as the game itself is awesome.
  10. From a translated Hoth Bricks comment from some people who I think went to the Lego Inside Tour or something like that: "FYI, we had a right to a demo of the thing during our paid trip to the land of the brick. It's really Minecraft power with exploration and building in-game, via an interface similar to that of LDD." I really like playing Minecraft, and the Lego Universe properties were really fun too, so now I'm really excited for this game! A little disappointed that Lego Dimensions isn't the game that's going to be the sandbox-building game I've been waiting for since LU ended, but I'm glad we're getting a game like this at all. Uh.. no.. it probably isn't. Don't be a party pooper. At the very least it is the modern Lego Universe properties.
  11. *And then the Doctor Who Level Pack is revealed, containing BOTH K-9 and a mini-TARDIS* I'd find it hilarious if the mini-model for a Cyberman was a Dalek that he could ride. What's worse than Cybermen and Daleks? Cybermen riding Daleks. That would be incredible.
  12. It was recorded on April 10th, 2015, but it hasn't been uploaded until now due to me being busy with other things. But anyway... Episode 6: "LEGO BIONICLE ACTION FIGURE" has arrived!
  13. Well that was unexpected. I guess Lego is moving away from the membership model for their MMOs.
  14. Great job on that mask! It looks absolutely fantastic, and the details are incredible! Good luck to everyone who bids on this incredible item!
  15. That's a guy in a suit. I guess they wanted Tahu's anatomy to be as accurate to the set as possible, which human anatomy would be incapable of, so they made it a weird puppet-like suit. Kind of like the costumes in the broadway version of The Lion King. EDIT: In that same gallery, there's a poster of the Kanohi. In the Kaukau section, instead of Kopaka's and Pohatu's Kaukau, they have the two misprint trans-light blue and yellow Kaukau. Interesting. EDIT 2: The only non-misprint Matatu is Nuju's light gray one, and ALL of the Ruru are misprints. Weird. I think I've just discovered why the misprints exist! It might be because they were going to be final versions but then they changed them! Also, that Tahu puppet-suit-thing is really funny. And well done on this archive of Bionicle sculptures! I wish I could have one of those large brick-built Toa in my house.
  16. Some =statistics of the characters officially revealed so far (waves 1 & 2 + the starter pack): Theme with highest amount of characters in the game so far: Ninjago & The Lego Movie tied at 5 eachTotal # of unlicensed characters: 13Total # of licensed characters: 18Total # of boy characters: 24Total # of girl characters: 7Grand Total # of characters in the Starter Set and waves 1 & 2: 31Surprisingly the balance between licensed and non-licensed characters isn't as bad as some might have thought, assuming you count The Lego Movie as non-licensed.
  17. They're actual minifigs you can take off the stands and play with. (Which is one of Lego's best advantages over other toys-to-life games like Infinity where the figures are static and can't really be played with.
  18. So not only are we getting a Lego Doctor Who set, but we're also getting Doctor Who in Lego Dimensions? WITH K-9!?! AND A SONIC SCREWDRIVER AND A TARDIS??? I was hoping this would happen! And while I've never played the game, I'm sure the Portal fans are excited about it getting its own Lego Dimensions pack as well. The folks on Eurobricks were able to use an image on the Xbox One edition of the game's box (which was shown at an angle where the top of the box could be seen) to determine some of the upcoming figures. So the Chima, Simpsons, Scooby Doo, and even Portal characters are no surprise. I couldn't make out Doctor Who in there, though, so that's a nice surprise. (For those curious, this is the picture the Eurobricks folks made from this image.)
  19. Funny how out of all the Protectors, the Protector of Water is the only one referred to by a pronoun. So we still don't know the genders of 4 of the Protectors. I'm going to just guess they're all male for now, though.
  20. Aside from the lack of armor on the back of the legs, Cody & Jango look pretty good! The CCBS shells work really well as clone armor.
  21. ultrabuild jar jar in the future, right? If it means more tan CCBS shells than sure, why not?
