Darn, that was some powerful stuff. The fact that these characters had connected before, and Shark might be starting to show remorse thanks to Rain made it all the more heart-wrenching, as his final light was blown out by him, and the fact that deep down, that "I love you" may actually have been true. The depth that you two went and put into your writing is true novella standard, letting us feel all the sences and choices that they went through truly was outstanding work, as short-lived as it was. One that will surely go down in the memory books.

Well, everyone would get murdered eventually, so it would only be natural that they too be murdered. Also, Kikanalo, you named me after A HORSE. How am I supposed to take that. But who to vote for... Hmmmmm... I would say Sir Lancelot, if only because I am apparently a horse with a grudge in this game.

Ic: de-Rephic The tentacles came rushing forward as de was preoccupied with the one on his cane. He looked up to see them hurtling towards his face, and instinctively went for his cane, but it was tangled up, and so barely had time to wrench the cane up. "Could. You. Kindly. Not. Do. That. Please!" He said as he tugged the other rahkshi's tentacle around trying to deflect the other 7 tentacles. He wondered how much it hurt.

IC: de-Rephic de let out another befuddled "what" as the rahkshi he was fighting disappeared from in front of him. He heard movement behind him and caught the tentacles in his cane, and quickly twisted them on the shaft. He let out a triumphant "Aha!" and pulled his cane towards him in an attempt to get his opponent off his balance.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong as I was one at the time, but was Bionicle not around the same amount of popularity as it is now in the six months after it was released? But, on to the question asked by the OP: I would say dwindling, but that would be an understatement. As everyone has said, after 2010, it simply vanished, for lack of a better word. It would seem to be on the rise again with new children coming in after five years, perhaps some hearing about it from their parents or older siblings, however, as I stated above, it has only been six months, and if I am correct, and Lego plays their cards right, then it could skyrocket again come year 2 or 3, and if it is seen as marketable, then it could last up to 9 or so years again. But, if they have a joker in the pack, then it could just be seen as a failure, and be thrown away into the wind as a poor idea to re-establish. The world has changed, and so has the people inhabiting it, and perhaps an old theme renewed might now be seen as bad choice. Well, that took a strange and sudden turn. -
Kongu looks like a giant green wasp. Hey, wait a minute! Also on the Kongu front, it seems his mask went through two different designs before settling on the weird ogre one we got. Thinking about it, how do we know that the prototype Kongu we see on the wiki is Kongu? We have no source for it, for all we know it could be Hahli or Matoro. But oh my, these sets look so cool. They really seemed to be trying to theme them around a thing like they tried with the Barraki in 2007; Hahli the scuba diver, Matoro the Skier, Kongu the wasp, Jaller the Pyro, Hewkii the Axonn, Nuparu the uh... uh... gunzerker? I dunno. I wish we got those masks though. Much better than the rubber ones we got, even if they are just prototypes. And the translation of the other teaser: THE TOA INIKA The latest heroes of Voya Nui have made it their task to liberate the enslaved inhabitants of the island (kingdom - not sure if Googles got it on this one) and find the legendary mask of life. But, it is important to prevent the Piraka achieving this goal before them!

Ic: de-Rephic The only word that came out of de before he burst into flames was "What?" It was shortly followed by "Oh Karz put me out!" With him flailing about trying to put it out before it went out. "Well that was an experience" he stated, and then he ran forward and picked up his cane, and attempted to swipe out Nyral's legs from under them with the crook.

If the most popular ideas are creating a mask or something to do with the story, why not combine the two and make a create a mask contest that will be featured in the story on a character?

Okay, firstly, I'd like to say that I was the undead Tarekada, and secondly, I was removed from the game, without my consent or any say in the matter, because I said I would willingly follow the instructions that was given to me in the PM until something interesting popped up. I am not very happy about this.

If: de-Rephic The arm slid across and the tentacles enveloped the cane. *bingo* The sudden change in momentum made him turn violently towards his opposition, and carried on with it, jumping up over the cane and arm in order to firmly plant his feet in his opponents face.

Pardon me for being blunt, but I do not believe that you got in Gihdora - you see, Jed got in on space #15, making 15 players, however, Fordian sadly had to retract, leaving that slot open for... Me! Leading back up to 15 people, as was the rearranged slots. This is unless Slider allows 16 people, but until that announcement, you're out for now Ghidora.
