  1. It's a dragon and it glows in the dark, I'm a fan of it just for that. But you have so many other things that can't be over looked, the way you went about doing the scales is so well done. The mouth looks as dangerous as it would be. And I rather like how the claws on it's feet go upwards. Great job on this!
  2. First off I have to commend you on that lower half! Though like you said it lacks mobility, I for one can overlook that for the visual effect of living flames, which you've nailed! And although there are a number of colours, you have them blending from one to the other so smoothly (not always the easiest thing to do). And the wings, I would never have thought of using them as such but they work surprisingly well here. I also like how you constructed a unique head for it as well. Visually, this is now easily one of my favorite MOCs.
  3. Got my shipment in, all look great, though some fit better than others, I find that the axle connecters on the larger ones are too long for metru style heads to go in right to the face. Also the mask of Rahi Control and Clairvoyance are too large to quite look right on a Hagah. The mask of Diminishment and Weight Control chins go into most chests, but that's something I can work with. The mask of Growth, Sensory Aptitude and "Emulation" fit quite nicely. As for tweaking anything, I'd say the eye slits on the mask of WC don't need to go as far out to the sides as they do, and a slight down size on the two Hagah's mask, and a shortening of the axles on some. Other than that they are well designed, and you can see much more small details than you can in the pics, keep up the great work, and if any changes are made I'll definitely be picking those up as well as the ones a haven't yet. By the way what paint and method did you use to match the silver and gold on your Hagahs? I've used spray paint before but I don't find it quite ideal as well as limited in colours.
  4. I bought a few and first let me saw that they are phenomenal, truly. I'll definitely be getting others. I did find two down sides to the Olisi, one being that the axle pin is too low the eyes don't reach the eye holes; two is that it is just so huge! I already figured out what to do for a head, it really is the size of it that's throwing it off, but it can be over looked seeing as it is just so sweet! Also the mask of Elemental Energy is a dream. Keep up the great work, I'm really loving these!
  5. We've only seen one in story before, I don't see how this would hurt the rarity of it. Also I was under the impression that the Toa Mangai were not a team, but simply answered a call for help in regards to the Kanohi Dragon, not really forming a team till then. If that is indeed the case (and even if it isn't, seeing I doubt they were a team right from becoming Toa, like the Toa Metru were), there is no telling what that Toa of ice could have done to have got/earnd that mask. The Olmak there were only two of, Brutaka had one (what did he do to get his I wonder) the only other one belonged to... a Toa! And that mask is a lot rearer and (IMO) more powerful than the Rode is, all I'm saying is that if a Toa can have an Olmak than why not a Rode? Also first post says Greg said limited, a mask being limited does not automatically translates to or means "this character can not have that mask". Why not ask if he has reason not to allow this Toa to be one of those few who has one?
  6. I'm thinking the mask of biomechanics, just for the ironic factor, also if you took him (quite literally) out of his element, he would still have it covered. And it is just cool to think of the technology of Metru-Nui itself attacking the dragon. But I do also like the mask of healing for a Toa of Plantlife.
  7. I came up with a mask of sight for a short story I was think of writing, the mask would allow its user to see through the eyes of a random sapient being in their vicinity. The down side to it, other than possibly having to activate it a number of times to see through the eyes of being you want to, is that while in use the user can't see from their own, which could be a problem if they were on there own, but it would come in handy if they saw through the eyes of one trying to sneak up onon, or hiding from, them. Also a mask that prevented beings in the area from using any natural abilities, ex: to a couldn't acsses their elemental powers, The Shadowed One his eyebeams, Skakdis any of their three powers, Makuta all fouty-two of theirs, even a De-matoran would lose their sensitive hearing, but when activated it would affect its user as well, other wise most fights would be rather unfair. Oh and a mask of stasis, not sure to make the affects only temporary or to have it that direct eye contact is required, actually thought of a story where a Toa became a living statue after being tricked into using it on a mirror. Anyway, those are some I came up with over the years.
  8. I don't know why, but I always thought of him as the same agent that in Dwellers in Darkness delivered Zaktan to the Toa Hagah.
