  1. As much as I like the canisters, my vote went to boxes. I like the boxes because they can be made more ecofriendly while also being saved for storage uses. Also parts are less likely to get damaged in a strong box or canister as opposed to the bags. The canisters, while they are cool, aren't as feasible anymore due to how much plastic it takes to make them, the amount of space they take up when you store them and keep the sets out (I know some don't keep the canisters, but I'm not one of those people). All in all, boxes are the best of both worlds imo.
  2. Apology accepted I regret not following the story more closely...but then again college really takes up a lot of time
  3. Cool! I've been to see Rush, Iron Maiden (with Coheed & Cambria opening), RED (with Shine Bright Baby opening), Sevendust (acoustic), Winter Jam (which had a bunch of bands, but I was only there for Skillet), and my most recent one was 4 bands: Westfield Massacre (new metalcore band, but pretty good, especially for an opening act), Like a Storm (who didn't fit in with the other bands soundwise; they were more hard rock while the others were all metal or at least really heavy), Trivium (best act of the night) and Sevendust (non-acoustic). I'd have to say the best two shows I saw were Iron Maiden and Trivium. I can't decide which I liked more honestly.
  4. The Toa Masters look a lot like the Toa Mata.... Haha seriously though: Looks pretty similar IMO
  5. I agree with the opening post. Bionicle lives on in all of us, especially in the lessons it has taught us. The original line has had a major impact on my life and I wouldn't be the same person I am today without Bionicle. I honestly think it will make a return one day, but if it doesn't, that's not a loss. Like the OP said, it's still talked about, fanfic is still made from it, the resale value of the sets is as strong as ever on Ebay (which says it's still in high demand) and it's honestly a timeless story of good vs evil. And the timeless factor comes in because years from now, there will still be a community of people talking about Bionicle somewhere. Don't despair, just let it happen and create your own legends
  6. I updated to Iron Maiden's The Trooper artwork for the sheer reason that Iron Maiden is amazing
  7. The mask is of Pohatu, but the color looks more like Hewkii... #confused
  8. I wish I knew enough about Transformers to call that one by name...but I don't
  9. Agreed. I'd also love some entirely new elements that weren't even part of G1's extended elementary table, plus I'm hoping that light will no longer be an exclusive element to one character, and that shadow will not be equal to evil. Toa of Shadow could act as stealthy infiltrators, still fighting for the "good" side. Kinda like Marvel antiheroes like Deadpool, but of course much less vulgar and more kid friendly, right? Also I'd like to see bionicle return to having a more hard rock kinda vibe to their commercials. I think the music for G2 was pretty fantastic, but is it possible that the target audience is more drawn towards the sounds of more edgy guitar/rock in the commercials? Or was that just a thing from the last decade?
  10. Dude... The ending of the 2017 idea is actually pure genius! Bionicle has always been timeless and built upon legend, but that is actually an amazing way to represent it! The small shadow army sets, though, there wouldn't have to be 6 of them (as much as everyone would've wanted there to be) maybe just a modest 4 or even 3. The light armor, is a great idea as well! I imagine many people would love the trans colored parts that would come with those! And Umarak idea you had could be a combiner of some of the shadow army, Makuta and possibly Onua as well.
  11. I'd also like to see more elements in G3. What happened to Sonics, Iron, Gravity and all the other cool powers a Toa could be? Just sayin...
  12. Transformers: Robots in Disguise (though that one sucks at being in disguise)
  13. I checked the date to make sure it wasn't 2010 because I was so tired when I saw the announcement I thought I was still asleep and that it was just a dream
  14. I'm going to have to go with Lord of Skull Spiders. I understand that the short animations of 2015 were meant to tell the story in a quick, digestable format, but for being wave 1's main villain, he was extremely under utilized. I mean he was essentially the Gen 2 equivalent of the bahrag queens and the battle that took place was just kinda lame overall. The same could be said of Kulta as well.
