  1. I'm going to wait until my local stores have all of the sets so that I can go and get them all. I'll open Tahu first.
  2. With regards to the uniforms: In the teaser poster, the Ninja are wearing the "placeholders," so they are probably just wearing their favorites, as you suggest.
  3. Yes! Now to check my local Target and TRU...
  4. While I have been a fan since the Metru Nui era, I am a fan of all years of BIONICLE, including 2005 and 2009. Also, I'm glad that the Toa Inika/Mahri exist. They are one of my favorite Toa teams. Anyway, back on topic: The part of the new sets that I like the least is the fact that there are no orange eyes. I hope we get orange eyes this summer and purple eyes with good Makuta (whenever/if ever he is released).
  5. Are they all in a uniform? I mean maybe they're guards... Really though, it's one image from a video I don't believe we've seen yet; it doesn't mean we won't see others. As for sets though; I could see (& somewhat hope for is) an 'Ekimu & Makuta: Mask Makers' box where both are well covered figures in-between Protector-size & Gali/Lewa/Pohatu-size, but I've got no feel for the plot-speed but I definitely think we'll see some form of Ekimu &/or Makuta That could be. That is a good point, but I feel that LEGO isn't going to differentiate them. I definetly want to see Ekimu and Makuta as sets at some point. Since they are (probably) going to be around Protector-size, I hope this means that other sets around that size will be given personalities/uniqueness.
  6. My first sets were from the Metru Nui era. I first started really caring about the story during 2006. LOL. Yep. Edit: I like the art style. It's pretty neat.
  7. Maybe they did that because Lego is going to re-release some of the old sets that those characters came in, or maybe new sets using those older ideas. I just wounder how they'll get their elemental powers back after loosing them for some unknown and unexplained reason. I personally doubt that LEGO would re-release sets (except for one city set and one Maserk set, right?). I think that parts of next year's Ninjago is inspired by 2011. Just look at the small set with Kai. I am wondering about that myself as well. Well 2011 was the year of the Serpentine(SP) and 2015 has the Anacondri(SP) showing you. Wasn't 2011 the Skeletons? ###### your right, my bad. Don't worry about it.
  8. That's true, for MNOG. MNOG II fixed that, though. LOL. Yes, of course. All of those villagers in this image are duplicates just like in MNOG!
  9. I wish that LEGO had gone with the MNOG approach with regards to the villagers...

  11. Back in 2010, while I was on vacation, I came across a store that had: Tahu Mata Gali Mata Hordika Whenua Visorak Boggarak I purchased one Tahu Mata, one Gali Mata, and one UFO set. I think that they were all around their original price!!! I also recently got an Exclusive Tahu Mask off of eBay for $35.

  13. I'm hoping that, between Ekimu and Makuta, only Ekimu gets a set form this summer. That way, assuming that 2016 is dedicated to a quest for the Mask of Control, good Makuta could debut in 2016 with the Mask of Control. I'm not sure when I want evil Makuta as a set. By my logic, I guess that would be in 2017. Also, with regards to their size. I think that they would be good as they are in the Legend animation. Protectors with gears. Makuta can still be a villain while being Protector sized. Think MNOG. Makuta was a Tohunga in that game.
  14. I find it strange that Kai is wearing his original uniform, Cole is wearing his DX uniform, Jay is wearing his ZX uniform, Lloyd is wearing his Techno uniform, and Zane is 2D ( :P). Another strange thing is the fact that Kai is actually wearing his original uniform in the tournament teaser. The other ninja also wear the uniforms that I mentioned above in the boat teaser.
  15. Toys R Us has now listed Pohatu, Gali, Onua, Kopaka, Lewa, and the LOSS. :happydance: Now, Toa wise, they are only missing Tahu.
  16. I believe that my most recent set was 2008 Takanuva. I purchased him sealed at Brickfair this last May. His set is really awesome!
  17. I keep most of my sets built. If I take any apart, they are generally copies of sets that I already have, and they are used for MOCing.
  18. My first of the new sets will be Tahu. I'll probably buy them all at once and open them in this order: 1. Tahu 2. Onua 3. Kopaka 4. Pohatu 5. Lewa 6. Gali I hope these sets come out before Christmas!
  19. Hello everyone, this is my first post! Legend tells of a lone creature who dwells in the darkest recesses of Okoto. For many years, whole caverns and canyons have been closed by the village elders for fear of this fearsome entity. This terrifying being, once a villager of fire, is told to be extremely dark and cunning. He is said to corrupt and take over the mind of anyone he comes in contact with! Rumor has it that he has been amassing an army to do his bidding. In recent years, several bold villagers have ventured into the forbidden canyons. Of the five that journeyed forth, only one returned. This villager told tales of a horrible sight! Thanks to the villager, this villain’s appearance is now known. He is told to bear a formidable flaming staff and a mystical orb of corruption. Now that the Toa have arrived on the island, they are the villagers’ only hope of stopping this horrid rogue: Meladar: Master of Corruption.
