  1. IC: Revenge Revenge noticed Rider looking even more gloomy. He signaled for him to come over.
  2. IC: Revenge Revenge took his tray back and gave the food a try. It didn't taste anny different but it had a strange tang that made it bareable. "Thank-you," he said between mouthfulls.
  3. IC: Revenge Revenge was intreauged by the other Rahkshi's proposition. He slid his tray over.
  4. IC: Revenge Revenge saw Rider sitting alone, it wasn't in Revenge's nature to be freindly but considering the circumstances he felt like making an exception. Just than another Rahkshi sat at his table, He appeared to be a plant control rahkshi. Revenge pulled his tray back towards himself, hiding it behind his book. He had just changed his mind about being friendly.
  5. IC: Revenge "Thanks." Revenge walked away. "They really need to give new students a tour of this place," he mumbled under his breath. Once he got to the cafeterea or "The Refactory" as it was called, he wasted no time. Picking up a tray of mush he sat down at a table by himself. After one taste he spat out the gunk, than pulled out his book and read the second story "The Snake That Swallowed a Village." OOC: Open for interaction.
  6. IC:Revenge Revenge couldn't find the cafeteria. He walked past a room with several others in it. One appeared to be wounded. "Excuse me?" he sead, poking his head through the door. "which way to the cafeteria?"
  7. IC: Revenge By the end of the story Revenge was laughing. Clearly this story was just one of the oldest records of Rahkshi, It was quite impressive how the last toa stood up to the Fear rahkshi like that, all on his own, clearly outmatched, frightened out of his wits. Revenge decided that he liked this book. Revenge felt a small pain, he was hungry. He hopped down off of the roof and looked for something to eat.
  8. IC: Revenge The first story was titled "The Toa and the Fear Beast in the Cave." "This book just gets better and better." thought Revenge. The first few pages were the standard junk that made the heart of all of these stories, a matoran village is being atacked by a monster so a team of toa was called in to help.
  9. IC: Revenge As soon as Revenge got into the courtyard he shifted to flight mode and flew up onto the roof of one of the buildings. He pulled out the book he had picked. "Legends of the Southern Southern Continent" "With a title like that this book can't be too good." he thought. He leaned back on the roof and opened the book.
  10. IC: Revenge "It was nice to meet you," Revenge said before begining to walk away.
  11. IC: Revenge "Thanks," Revenge grumbled. He grabbed a book off of the shelf without looking. As he turned to leave he remembered his manners. "What is your name?"
  12. IC: Revenge Revenge was getting bored of looking. He saw a Rahkshi sitting down with an Ussal crab next to it. "May as well talk to someone" he thought to himself. He walked up to the strange rahkshi. "Excuse me," he grumbled, "I can't seem to find what I want. Do you know where the storybooks are?"
  13. IC: Revenge Revenge browsed the isles, he found books on history, combat, zoology, physics, and almost any other subject. But he couldn't find what he really wanted.
  14. IC: Revenge This was Revenge's first day at Corpus Rahkshi. He had already settled into his room and was having a look around. He noticed that there was a library so of course he headed right for it.
  15. Guys, there is a reason no one has ever finished a project like this. We need to stay involved in this. Personally, I want to see this through to the end so that I can show this to my friends and say, "I helped make this." Who Is with me?
  16. The rest of the profile seems alright, but I'm not sure about that bio. You'll have to wait on Ultron's ruling for that. Im willing to change it. This is my first time. I wanted an explination of why he had the book and journal. Well, that's just because I'm still waiting for approval. Still got dibs though Ok, I will just change Venge to Ven, hopefully that is not token.
  17. There was no Venge on the Approved Characters list.
  18. This is my first time doing one of these so here goes nothing! Name: Revenge (also Vengeance or just Ven) Variaton: Density control Level: 3 Gender: male Gear: special Zamor-sphere launcher, equipped with a small, dagger-like, bayonet. the launcher also has a special apparatus (because anything that would be useful to put in a zamor is banned on campus) designed to fill a zamor with pure energy, making it explode on contact. (This is strong enough to send a Rahkshi flying several feet, bit won't do more than a scorch mark on it's own) He also owns two books, one is a book of legends from the outside world, which he believes is complete fiction(how could a Toa ever even equal the might of a rahkshi?) but he enjoys reading it anyways. The other book is simply labeled "Ven". He refers to it as "book" It functions as his journal. He usually doesn't carry his books on his person. Appearance: The standard black-green of density rahkshi manifests itself on Ven as a black body with two green stripes, on on each side, running lengthwise along it. His back spines are thin triangle shapes that end in curved hooks. He has a special targeting scope over his right eye, this is only used for long-range shots. Personality: Ven is reserved. The best way to try to be his friend is not to. If you do try he will see you as a nuisance and dislike you even more. Occasionally he will form a bond with someone who he holds dear and considers a friend. He is a fierce friend and he would risk a crawl in the sunshine without his armor for someone who he cared about. He loves books, especially storybooks. He also has a strange fondness for sunlight(when in armor) and one of his major "stress relievers" is to sunbathe with a good book. He chose the name "Revenge" for a reason. If you get on his bad side he will make your life miserable, when he runs away is when you should worry. This policy of geting back when he is wronged extends to when his friends are wronged as well. Also. he doesn't understand why a rahkshi would be anything else other than a male. Bio: Venge's "father" was reluctant to participate in the Corpus Rahkshi experiment. After much debate it was agreed that he would donate one kraata on the condition that he could keep the resulting rahkshi for one week at his personal residence. Although the terms of the agreement prevented any interaction beyond a few sentences spoken through a door Ven got the opinion that his father cared for him. While at his father's house Ven picked up a book of legends and read it. He grew so attached to it that he took it into the school as well as the journal his father gave him to "foster higher-level thinking." How did I do? Edited because "Venge" was token Edited to clarify blaster streingth.
  19. I can agree with the non-power attack thing. To help determine what type of damage an attack does (whether or not types are tied to a damage type) and what additional effects some attacks may have, we should consider including a list of rules for obvious tactics like coating the floor with ice or making a wall of fire. More unorthodox attacks like creating a giant wheel of stone would be left to the storyteller's judgement. Also, just a quick clarification. Vitality is what you spend and Energy is the max amount you can spend at one time, right?
  20. Ok, but determining whether a strike does vitality damage or regular damage might get complicated. Should an element just be tied to one type of damage unless that stat is depleted? EDIT: For example, fire or rock would be damage but air or sonics would be vitality.
  21. I'm not sure about energy being lowered when you take damage, but otherwise it sound's great. Maybe if you can give me a bit more of an explanation of how vitality would work in this game. I like how vitality can apply to other species as well, them using it for strenuous activities. A quick note-how would healing work? I would want it to be set up so no specific character needs to be designated the "healer" but i also think that having the Turaga, (with their extensive experience) capable of functioning as skilled healers would give them something unique.
  22. If you have a better idea for something I could do just say so. Im here to help! For now I will focus on the reading I mentioned earlier. Ok, so I think there should be some sort of elemental energy stat for use in combat. How it would work is the player would announce the type of attack they wish to use and how much energy they wish to spend on it (example: "I want to spend 3 energy to throw a fireball"). The amount of energy spent on the attack would determine what die you rolled for it's damage. (in the example "fireball" would clarify that this is a ranged attack) This would make players have to think strategically about the use of their elemental powers, they could spend all of their energy dominating in one fight only to jump right into another being really vulnerable. This would most likely increase reliance on masks, tools, and other powers(if aplicable). Outside of battle elemental powers could be used in any way desired, from providing a flame for light to starting a forest fire, so long as the player has some energy left. Outside of battle elemental energy would not be consumed. I would expect elemental energy to have some sort of regeneration factor as well as there being items used to restore it quickly (like the mask of elemental energy). What do you think?
  23. I think the treads look great! Great use of the new pieces.
  24. OOOH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Give me a while to read up on everything you guys have already posted several times so that I got whats already going on. And yes, I will get to work on the masks. Hey, not that we should stop or anything (why would I say that when I just joined and am super excited about it) but Takuma Nuva on TTV has been working on an RPG as well. Here is the video they anounced it in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-MsNlGOtuw&list=UUHbcwfjBn2P_6GHw5ottF5A&index=2(around minuet 44) I will certainly keep an eye on that, but I will keep on working with you guys as well. So glad to be helping! EDIT: Ha! Takuma Nuva was posting on here earlier.
