I mean Po-Matoran wouldn't do very well in a jungle setting so they need a Rahi to clear the way. Yeah I know it is a stretch but what do I know. I didn't even follow the story all that closely and am only now learning stuff others have known since Bionicle started...

Lets see if I can weigh in here... Prowl's take on Protodermis building blocks: Ok, so we know that for whatever reason everything in the MU seems to be made up of some form of Protodermis. Be it normal or anti. Well we are carbon based life forms; all of us. Every species on Earth to our knowledge plant and animal is carbon based. Why I have no idea, do I look like a scientist to you? Anyway it stands to reason that in the MU the live forms are protodermis based instead of carbon based. Simplicity in itself. Though not sure how liquid proto fits in as I said I am no scientist. Anyway I kind of see the Matoran species as almost insect like in that they have an armored exoskeleton. Thus the metallic armor appearance. Protodermis is a more metallic compound then are carbon based ones even in its more organic state. Prowl's take on Matoran eating habits: I don't remember what movie/show it was from but I do remember an alien who use to drink through his finger and eat via his butt. Yeah in once scene he took a whole turkey and sat it on his chair before sitting on it. Then after some food enjoyment sound effects he returned the tray to the table with nothing but the bones left. So while we may see it as strange by our standards why couldn't a different species to our own have an equally different means of gaining the needed energy to function? Now true some of the species do eat via their mouths and Matoran even have that ability. Though I think it is seen as animalistic or uncivilized. Like seeing somebody eat with their hands instead of utensils or directly off the floor. This is why the Rahi can and do eat with their mouths. Even the goat rahi the Po-Matoran keep in herds do this. Prowl's take on Rahi population control: Well I don't know much about the story as a whole but I suspect the whole being created from viruses and viruses multiply like crazy with the right catalyst I suspect that once the Makuta of any region created them they could self contain their own ecosystem. Many species adapt based on predator and prey relationships. It would not surprise me in the least if the prey Rahi multiplied rapidly to try and counter the predator numbers. Though as others have stated the Predator rahi's numbers could be limited based on possible prey. Less prey less room for predators. Also the whole territorial aspect of the larger species. I mean even tigers in our world are not the most hospitable to members of their own species outside of mating season. So basically if there isn't enough food for one why bring in more competition for the limited resources? Thus if they can breed there wouldn't need to unless it was for species survival. Something that wouldn't happen with over crowding. It is a natural cause and effect. Also I am not 100% but wasn't there word that the Po-Matoran breed and herd these goat rahi? If so then some freaky stuff is going on in the Matoran village of stone. Are there Dr Frankenstein type Matoran on Mata Nui? "It's ALIVE!!!" ... "Good. Now lets hit it with a rock. Indeed. Arcee Has taken a darker tone with being black and purple. Wait are we sure she is not rolling Decepticon this time around? Chroma looks much like herself from G1 and I don't know about Windblade, I think she is a new character based on a fan submission a couple years ago. What is with the weapons though. That is not the right head for Skyor. Why is that? It actually is the right head. Her head is dual-sided—one side is normal, and the other has a face mask to hide her identity. I had thought that this would mean that Skylor's identity would be hidden from the Ninja at first, like Samurai X's, but as it turned out that masked face never appeared in the show. I don't have much else to add that hasn't already been said, save for that I hope Skylor's Dark Red hairpiece appears in sets at some point. Well her identity as the bad guy's daughter and the spy of the group was kept a secret until the end there. So maybe the head I just a physical representation of that. They think she is one of them, but in reality she is not. Then is at the very end. Or something to that effect.

Well it looks like there are some nice artist here on the board as they have taken your Hahli concept and expanded on it. This last one has some nice proportions on it. Not too skinny but not overly flat boyish figure. The balance between the hips and waist couture well into each other as well as the upper calves. Remember that woman tend to have larger upper calves due to the wider hips for biological reasons. Don't get discouraged thought Petewa. I would wager that they have been drawing for quite some time and the advise they give is sound. Though remember the artist's style has to show through. If you are going for a more realistic concept like she could step off the page and shake your hand. Being atomically correct is always a plus. However of you are going for a more cartoonish or comic feel then the 3D curve effects are not quite as important. Granted by cleaver placement of shadows to create the effect you desire. Chip's rendition is a good example of the shadow-play I refer. Without them his picture would be just a mess of paint on a flat canvas. So try different things and see what works for you.

I tried looking and the closest thing to your picture in shirt form was a Hawaiian looking one with a palm tree on it. Also they have a scarf neck piece but you can't use it and the long hair options. Even the medium or Pulled-back ponytail hair pieces are out. That does stink, since the 3DS is the only system I have for playing this game. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC packs became available for purchase on different systems sometime after the game is released. Yeah I don't own any of the mainstream consoles. The last one I got is my GameCube. Yeah it still works for the most part, though the controllers are hard to come by and mine have button issues.

So my only complaint is that you took so long to share this with us. I mean the post was made back in November last year and you have been a Member since late April. That means you made us wait well over a month... What else are you keeping from us? So This looks to be a tall MOC, though calling it a great being I can see why. You really wouldn't call a Matoran sized character a Great being... Well you could(There was a Matoran who was a GB in disguise) but it would not make much sense. So Does it have any functions other then towering over the Toa or is it just really possible barring balance issues?

Well the two side sockets are on ball joints so it can have a slight angle to it, though I don't see that looseness you speak of o.O Well maybe if he used some of the Kragle on it then they wouldn't be so loose. Yeah I search the title of your thread and found a villain page about this thing. So not cool. I would never think to use that on any of my lego sets. Well maybe the System ones that are really large but I never have to date.

In MNOG, anyways... Well to be fair that image shows two versions of fish. The one laying on the table looks Bionicle-ish like it is made of Bionicle parts. However the fish that are hanging up look more fleshy. So who knows.

Ah so a fellow 27 year old on here. Welcome to the club. Though I will be 28 in a few short weeks. Glad your partners are cool with your toys coming along. Also that some of them have their own. It now has the potential to spawn endless copies of itself. I have no idea who or what I am looking at there but if I start seeing hundreds of Xerox of some guys butt I know where to look for the culprit. As for my collection I think I will keep it. I still have most of the parts from Gen1 lost in boxes somewhere and right now that is where I have to store by Gen2 stuff as my space is quite small and my shelves also have Transformers and Legos on them. It is a bit of a mess.
