  1. This is super awesome dude! I always liked the look of the shadowed one but this brings it to a whole new level.
  2. BLACK NUVA LEGS!!!!!! Now those I would die to try and find someone wanting to sell them.
  3. Now this is truly a topic of touchy opinions. That being said I truly agree that we DON'T NEED Bionicle back. Sure we would all love it to come back but lets be real here for a second. I don't think it unsafe to say that a high majority of this fanbase are now adults. Even if you discovered Bionicle in the last full year of 2009 at a young age of 6 lets say that would put you at 19 now. So with that I am sticking with the idea that 95% of us are adults. Now back at the point on hand. We as adults really don't need a toy line to come back. Sure many if not most of us still use our toys to create new and exciting characters and stories and we aren't hindered by the absence of new sets as there are literately countless ways to build with all the parts available and Lego does still make some parts in sets that fit our needs oh so well. Pus with 3D printing we get our fill of new masks and weapons. So on the mocing side yeah we don't need it back. "How about the story?" I hear you ask well, that we can do on our own. Besides people always complain about elements in the canon stories to begin with so this makes everyone happy to just make it as they see fit. Really Bionicle at the end of the day is a toy for kids with cool stories. We are all but grown up and yes it would be awesome if kids today could have Bionicles on the shelves but that i no way means we need them back. Saying we need Bionicle back reminds me of oldmen in movies saying "back in my day we didn't need(insert modern tech or toy)." I'm sure we are all familiar with the people who claimed a kid could just have as much fun with a yoyo as a playstation. Not saying yoyos aren't cool but I don't think it would be sane to say that "we need yoyos back". We don't need Bionicles and kids don't need them but they will always be cool. -Onvermel-
  4. These are absolutely beautiful and exactly how I pictured them in the books. Honestly I couldn't imagine a better interpretation if the adaptive armor look for them.
  5. For both of those heads I've found these methods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dXK_Ajo6sA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPIPyJgxDNI
  6. If I was still invested in Marvel I would have been more interested in there but as it stand I'm probably just going to let them pass on by. I would much rather wait for a non licensed wave. Onvermel
  7. Saw this recently and I gotta say I love it. Such a clean and smooth moc. I really don't see enough melded Teridax mocs around. However this makes up for the lack of them. Great job. Onvermel
  8. Let's just say the MANY orders didn't make it easy. As well I may have cleared out the last several red throwbot bodies off of bricklink. Yeah seemed to have gotten one way. Although this is an old thread. Okay time to end this side tangent. Also are items on this list still available?
  9. A very good first set. Also welcome brother. Onvermel
  10. Always a painful experience. Nothing is worse than instant regret.
  11. I like the idea of three-three. However I feel as if ice and water should be different as both technically control water so have one foreach gender and have earth and stone also have separate ones. Fire and air can also do the same. So for me I would be interested in seeing, Water, air, and earth-female and ice, stone, and fire as male. Give both side a earth and water "bender" in a sense. 12. I agree completely with this. However unfortunately brown sets just didn't appeal to kids. Pohatu despite being my favorite toa is cursed with brown just not being a colour most people would chose. He is the only 2001 set I remember seeing on shelves for a lengthy period of time all the way into 2004. This was so prevalent in my brothers childhood that it became an inside joke.
  13. Thanks! I might be willing to show how some of these are made. An particular ones you were curious about?
  14. I fully agree. Although I am also the guy with 7 mata Pohatu canisters. I am making "The Dream' a reality for me. I think all the toa I have double of their canisters as well as bohrok. Although one reason I have doubles and such is because some canister are different such as European canister compared to north American. Plus their are all the CD variants. Onvermel
  15. I say it counts. Also that is pretty much how I operate when it comes to buying canister sets. Well did as I got the last one not to long ago.
  16. This is great. Such a nice flow to the whole model. I particularly love how the skull mask flows with the torso. Also a very interesting backstory. -Onvermel-
  17. Hello everyone! So I too am in the search of the least of the kraata I need. I am mostly looking to just purchase as I don't have any extra kraata to trade. I have some krana if that interests you for trade as well as some mask but not a lot. Looking for -Stage 1- Plant Control (Copper/Black) -Stage 2- Density Control (Green/Metal-green),Electricity (Blue/red), Confusion (black/copper), Stage 3- Chain Lighting (Metal-bue/metal-green),Cyclone(metal-blue/silver), Statis field (metal-blue/pearl dark grey), -Stage 5- Chain Lighting (metal-blue/metal-green), Gravity (pearl dark grey/metal-green),Silence(lime/pearl dark grey),Cyclone(Meatl-blue/silver), Vacuum(yellow/lime), Dodge(yellow/dark gold),Molecular Disruption(dark gold/copper) Stage 6- Insect Control(yellow/black), Cyclone(metal-blue/silver), Accuracy(Red/blue), Vacuum(yellow/lime), Invulnerability(black/dark gold), Confusion(Black/copper) If anyone can help that would be groovy! -Onvermel-
  18. yeah I took the back labels of a most my Rahkshi. Cool to have them with the clear back but I wish I had kept them on. Nothing sus. I believe you
  19. I'm pretty sure I can chronologically list every Bionicle set in order I got them. Don't worry I won't do that. However the first set I got was Turaga Onewa which lead to basically every years first set being the brown ones. I am only missing one set at this moment so I know what my last one will be. Thornatus v9. I am waiting to get a sealed one at some point as to enjoy experiencing a brand new Bionicle set for the last time. I have never even held one in person. It will truly be a momentous day. Funny thing is both my first and last will both be tan sets. -Onvermel-
  20. You have pretty much just described me. With a few excepting I do still have all my cardboard boxes except my turaga as I was to young to think about keeping them.
  21. I agree the story relevant are the best. I actually got two extra toa whenua lids to have a matoran pod permanently. I did get rid of most my mahri canisters. I traided the frames and threw out the cardboard. I got back the plastic later but unfortunately that cardboard is long gone. So out of my six only two have a full complete canisters. The collector in me it rather bothered by this. I did the similar to extra copies of the av/agori canister/box. I actually really like the look of those as well as the phantoka. RIP canisters. My parents never threw out mine but somehow I lost the bottom to my original Mata Onua.
  22. Hey folks! I got a two part question. #1 So I was thinking to myself about how I myself kept all my Bionicle canisters. They were useful storage and as a kid made great set pieces. Did all of you keep yours and why? #2 This is for all you collectors out there. Do you collect all the canister as well or do you feel the canisters are a waste of space and don't think it's needed for a collection? Just curious to see what you folks say. Stay groovy -Onvermel-
  23. Oh boy do these bring me back. I really miss these serials and just waiting for the next update. Some of which would never come -Onvermel-
  24. I love everything about this. It captures the look perfectly and just feels so right. I'm already supporting it but I did just want to mention that this is perfect. -Onvermel-
