  1. So a while back I created/posted this older moc http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/23630-rockoh-glatorian-of-junk-collecting/?hl=rockoh. He was a Bionicle that took the colour and overall theme from the system theme Rock Raiders. I really liked him and thougt "I should do this but for my favorite space theme". Which led me to this guy. For those that don't know his colour scheme is that of the subtheme of space known as M-tron from 1990. More pictures can be found here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/125839668@N07/39824206425/in/dateposted-public/ Emtrone is of one six beings who are toa pretenders as a way to earn a living. Using a mask of fire and red armor Emtrone makes it appear he is a toa of fire. Also he has a minimal magnetic powers. (M-tron as a theme had magnets as the gimmick) Rockoh from before also later become part of this "team". Onvermel
  2. Seen this on Flickr and I must say I really enjoy this moc as I do with all of yours. Onvermel
  3. And now I shall have nightmares for a week. All kidding behind this is an amazing build. -Onvermel-
  4. This is awesome! Seem to be a logical thing to do with the two. -Onvermel-
  5. Holy this is amazing!!!!!!!! Nothing more that I can say. It's just awesome. -Onvermel-
  6. This is totally awesome dude! Always wanted to see a movie accurate Turaga. -Onvermel-
  7. I must say I am really digging this moc as its very solid and you managed to get it to be spiky all over and still look good which is something I have yet to do well. -Onvermel-
  8. Thanks! I must say it was rather hard fining clear pieces at first as techinic never had a large variety. -Onvermel-
  9. Okay finally remembered to post the sixth guy. So continue with the trend of the rest if you people remember the rest of the toa well this is the sixt member of the seven member team. However I'm not going to post and pictures of the seventh as it's not really done in my opinion so eventually I'll get there. More pictures can be found here https://www.flickr.com/photos/125839668@N07/albums/72157674639952201 So just a bit of simple back story to Kapasa he was the most reluctant to become a toa and currently kinda keeps to himself but often finds himself pairing up with Vakamu and Dukat for stuff and has become quite close however he is very good and not being around. Really I have a long more complicated of a version of his origins and back story but that's really complicated and I'm still trying to get a good character to him as it has changed a lot. Ah well all in due time a guess. Onvermel
  10. Thanks! Yeah I've kinda been wanting to change the arms however nothing has really come up yet that would work better but maybe some day. -Onvermel-
  11. As you and many say about the silver I agree it really needs to be worked on. As for the torso I'm glad it looks like the Mata's as that was the intent and it's good to hear that I succeeded -Onvermel-
  12. Those are from the technic hockey sets from 2003. Many of the sets from what I remember had several different colour options such as orange, gree, blue, red, white and black. -Onvermel-
  13. Been a while since I continued with my posting my toa. Well anyways this is Toa Xalax a toa of The Green. He is technically the oldest moc of the group but not the oldest character as when I updated all the others he technically didn't change except his legs. Because of hos his body was and how the pipes/hoses worked on his torso I decided to give it to the rest. I'll will say this he has gone threw a LOT of changes from his very first form but has been stuck in this one for a while now. Well at least longer than the rest. Xalax Toa of The Green Xalax is a very fun loving and relaxed to(big surprise huh?) who often doesn't take the role seriously but you can always trust him to do the right thing. Unfortunetly he and Vakamu don't get alone at all and have caused a lot of trouble in the past for the group. He carries two clawed gauntlets (I think that's the right way to spell it) which he can store of his back. -Onvermel-
  14. Unfortunately no it does not. I've been thinking of trying to make it work but it's not as easy as it could be. Onvermel
  15. I do half agree with the advice. Normally I wouldn't of done it however his original body used a Onue claw in orange as one hand so I wanted to keep the clawed hand. However I do have second thoughts for it. Thanks. -Onvermel-
  16. Okay now this is unique. I really like the build and the amazing story you've put behind it makes it all the better. The inventive story you've created I find very compelling and am not having to try hard to imagine or picture. It very natural and feels like ti would fit right into the Bionicle lore. -Onvermel-
  17. So as some may know Toa Hanahtu is my brother and he had posted his self MOC a while back. So continuing my trend of post members of the Toa Eceip I present Toa Hanahtu Toa of Stone. (my version). Click the picture for more images. So some may remember Toa Hanahtu's own version and notice a lot of similarities. Really the main difference is the style of build. A bit of back story is well Onvermel and Xalax (I'll post him soon) found him on a desert island with no memory of his past while they were looking for more toa to join their team. Seeing he had no team and befriended them he joined the Toa Eceip as their 7th member. He was called Hanahtu by Xalax as he reminded him of a very handsome toa of stone he knew about. Lining the sound of that Hanahtu went with it. Hope you folks like him. -Onvermel-
  18. First off thanks for the kind words. Second the orange armor came from those technic Hockey sets from 2003 such as this guy http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=3544-1&name=Hockey%20Game%20Set&category=%5BSports%5D%5BHockey%5D#T=S&O={} -Onvermel-
  19. Honestly speaking it's because way back when I derived his name from Vakamu and Ahkmou. I just never was inventive enough to get him a new name so this kinda just stuck. I'll say this it's not as bad as my (Onvermel) original name. It was Onupurple. Yeah pretty bad. I completely agree he definitely needs more silver. Hopefully I'll get around to adding some in his arms I think. -Onvermel-
  20. So last week I poster "Dukat toa of stone". Today I am showing you folks the third member of the toa Eciep. Vakamu! (Click image for emore pictures) So Vakamu is a lot like Dukat in being rather aggressive. Due to their similar personalities they had been know as twins of a sort. However Vakamu is a lot more rude and far more willing to bend the Toa Code. He also doesn't really like Onvermel all that much. Not really my favorite of the team but i am more of less pleased with him. -Onvermel-
  21. Well I've actually been reading the Metru Nui books and the other toa asked the same question to Vakama. He said it was because his vision showed/told him to. -Onvermel-
  22. I really like these build as they have a lot of unique aspects plus a lot of character. Speaking of character I love the character and back story you have created. Great job! -Onvermel-
  23. No they are not. As for staying together ummm.... most of them aren't needed however things that would fall would be the bohrok triggers on his back legs, the krana holder on his arm, all his junk, and his chest would be a little more lose. So for the most part he stays together. I must say I'm glad some things are only held on by his bands as that makes his "strap on junk" appearance more real to me. Definitely would have been cool. However I don't think that would be really easy. I would like to try that at some point but we'll see. Should also be mentioned he was made out of left overs. -Onvermel-
  24. Kinda jumping into this conversation but indeed you may have noticed them because of the canisters but myself all my six siblings and every other Bionicle fan I know personally did NOT notice them because of the canisters as our first sets that got us into it were actually turaga from 2001 which had boxes. Plus the later Hero Factory sets with canisters tanked on the shelves as I saw the Savage Planet sets on sale for a long time. Looking further back Robo Riders had canisters and they well didn't sell at all. The reason that Bionicle canisters where so cool was not because they looked good but because they had story purposes (at least to most fans). At least in the first several years such as the suvas, toa canisters/transports, bohrok nests, rakshi stasis tubes and in 2004 it was the matoran spheres being made from the lids. Lego only continued to use them was because it was iconic for Bionicle at the time and they had no reason to change. However with moving onto gen 2 they had no real reason to keep them and honestly speakingthe new boxed kinda stick out from the rest. If hypothetically we gave Gen 2 canisters everything more likely than not would have turned out the same as packaging was not the issue as I think the packaging for 2015 look way cooler and better than the last several years of Gen 1. -EDIT- Also from what I remember seeing in stores during Gen 1 the Titan sets which were in boxes sold much faster and were way more popular than canister sets and the small box sets were usually harder to find to them being sold faster. Honestly from my odservation (as I was collecting threw all 10 years) canister sets sold the worst of them. I still remember seeing mistika sets in some stores way after they were discontinued like 5 years later. Similar with the original pohatu as I saw him trying to get sold all the way into 2003 or 2004. While small and large box sets I never saw this issue. -Onvermel-
  25. Not quite there is a black 2 length axel keeping them in place. Sadly they seem to have gotten loser over time and don't want to really stay to much anymore. Haha. Yes we have now found the 17? element. CHOCOLATE! -Onvermel-
