IC: Agonos Agonos tied a couple of pieces of leather together, however moldy they were, and made himself a nice strap to carry his new weapon with. It was a little tight, but it held it good against his back. "Alright." He said with a grin. "I'll be able to smack those frigging new leeches if they try and take what is mine..." He decided to go mill about town and see what was happening. He was pleased with his haul for the day, no need to return out to the wastes. OOC: Agonos OFI leaving his hut on the edge of town.

IC: Kaikino Kaikino was about to whip out his FMS, but decided against it. He probably didn't want to see what was ever in the dark there. He didn't feel like vomiting.

I have a heart that aches for people that are hurting, that are in need, that need just a bit of help. I have a hard time saying no, because I never want to say no. I don't like denying people help. It just rubs me the wrong way. But as a result, I can end up getting myself wrapping up in events that I have no clue where they started or where they will end. But that's who I am. It's what I am. I help people. And sometimes I find myself suffering for it.

IC: Kaikino felt his face contort in disgust as his employer "introduced" them to the moldy door and the dark, dank, deep passageway past it. It wasn't the first underground cavern Kaikino had been in, but the door itself didn't give him a good feeling; the fact that his employer had to break said door to open it gave him a bad one. Kaikino followed suit though, and slowly stepped downwards. Money was money, and this might end up being one of the better paying jobs he had.

I'm tempted to make a chart indicating character relations and length of time spent in Canus. Something fun and informational for new players. Any interest?

No. I'm not discussing it here, nobody's discussing it here. If somebody messages you privately, whatever, but what happened happened and it was settled. End of story. I don't want to be rude, but I already said we're not talking about it.

No, this isn't a place to discuss recent, but unfortunate events. No, this isn't an attack on the great staff we are lucky to have. These are four rules I've created for myself, over my time as a moderator(s) and even once as an Admin of various sites. And I feel I should share them. 1. Be respectful. Always. Even when emotions run high, don't attack. It's not worth it, and it doesn't help anybody. Give the staff your respect, and if they are worth their salt, they'll return it. 2. Be accountable. When you make a mistake, break a rule, or insult somebody, own up to it. If your pride is so big you can't do that, you have other issues. Coming clean the first time, every time is the right thing to do and it saves everybody's time. 3. Be forthcoming. Don't let an issue sit and boil with another member until it explodes. If you have a problem, talk to a staff member about it. The longer you let it sit, the bigger the explosion will be. Somebody will be hurt, somebody may leave, and nobody wants that. Don't let it happen. 4. Be honest. You can lie and hide, but the truth comes out over time. And it's never pretty. When asked by staff anything(except obviously, that which is personal or degrading(common sense!).), be honest. Saves time and it's respectful. I've learned these over...oh, several years now. Good rules to live by, and good rules for online. I just felt like I needed to share them, as a small reminder given the current mood. Again, this isn't to discuss recent events and this isn't an attack against the staff. This is just me, feeling like the site could use this reminder.

IC: Agonos Agonos wandered back into the village, slowly and carefully. He couldn't hide his new staff, but if he didn't make a show of it, maybe nobody would approach him. He didn't want to get backed into a corner about what he found out there. He would go back soon. But for now, he needed to figure out how to make a sling for the iron bar.
