I was talking with this guy for few days about buying them and I was ready to pay even more for this Brown Komau than it went for and he just sold it on Bricklink for less amount of cash and with Bricklink fee... I have no words to describe this. And $1500 for Yellow Huna is too much for me knowing that he has 10 of them, so they are not that rare anymore. BTW, if anyone has Brown Komau or Dark Blue Matatu for sale, I may be very interested.

I bought my Piruk, Garan, Dalu and Kazi brand new back in 2006. All of them have Flat Silver weapons. But I have Velika whose I bought used and he has Pearl Light Gray weapons. Same thing with Axonn sets - I had 3 or 4 of them and some had Pearl Light Gray parts, some had Flat Silver. So it seems to be the same situation as with Pearl Gold and Flat Dark Gold Kraahkan in Tower of Toa sets, but seems that Lego changed silver colour a little bit later than gold.

I already asked this question 3 years ago in this topic . But it seems that Letagi's answer from back then may be correct. I lately purchased sealed Copper Komau which was available in Lorenz chips in Poland and it is very translucent when one of those two Komau which I posted 3 years ago is only sligthly translucent (if I remember correctly, because those two Komau are in my hometown right now and I cannot check at the moment) and second one is opaque and doesn't let any light passthrough. Overall I had few Copper Komau in my hands and I spotted both opaque and translucent. EDIT: I compared my Komaus and all of the translucent ones are translucent on the same level. So it seems that there are opaque and translucent ones. In normal light opaque ones have sharper and darker edges than translucent ones, just like comparing Flat Silver with Pearl Light Gray. Pearl Gold Piraka spine is worth around $10. Rest of parts is rather common and not worth too much, so I guess your best shot is to sell this as lot of parts. Idk how much they are worth abroad, but in Poland 1 kg of parts is worth around $10 - $20, so if you have 25 lbs (around 11,33 kg), then you can get something between $110-$230 I think. So copy-paste those names into Google? Duh.

I spent hundreads of hours on reading about collectibles and I remembered that I read somewhere that it is sterling silver inside, but I have checked my sources and it was mentioned in Eurobricks topic which you linked . But I also found in my sources this news from BZP which states that it is "gold-plated solid silver kanoka disk". Also Kanoka Card from Toa Metru states that it is worth $50 if it may help in finding out by calculating using weight.

Thanks for posting that. I lost. I tied with the winner but his bid went in 13 seconds before mine so he had priority. The most basic rule of Internet auctions: NEVER, absolutely NEVER place bids ending with .00 cents. It is the easiest way to lose auction. Always add random cents ending to overbid people in situations like this. I'm doing this since 2006 and thanks to this rule I won over 50 auctions which would be lost if I placed bid with 00 ending. Many times I trolled people by overbiding them by one cent - the most satisfying way to win auction .

He bought those parts in store with used toys which has those rejected pieces from Lego factory. That's all he's willing to share. He said that he doesn't want to get the store owner into trouble.

A friend of mine just bought pink Brain Attack Stormer's helmet. He found it in lot of parts which were rejects from Lego factory. Sadly, I don't have any knowledge about Hero Factory collectibles, so I hope to find HF experts here . Anyone know if this part is one of a kind or maybe more of them exist? And is it prototype or misprint rejected from production? And how much it could be worth? I'm posting it in B/S/T since friend said that if price will be good enough, he may consider selling it. Some time ago I discovered that some of my Light Blue Kaukaus have convex bubbles on cheeks and some have not. On masks without those bubbles, circles are visible only on back. Front of masks are totally smooth and circles are almost non-visible. On masks with those bubbles, circles are very convex and very visible on front of the masks. Here are photos comparing those two kinds of masks: http://imgur.com/a/FLd0L I gone through many photos in the Internet and it seems that those bubbles exist only in Light Blue versions of Kaukau. Also it seems that chances to get Light Blue with or without those bubbles are simillar since I found photos of both versions easily. Shouldn't Trans Light Blue Kaukaus with those bubbles be considered as mismoulds?
