  1. IC: Tuyet | Crimson Galleon, Metru-Koro "At this point I'd take a Magic Eight Ball if it gets me closer to finding Axonn. I hate not knowing where he is -- it's killing me. Or he's killing me, it's hard to really separate the two right now," Tuyet said. She looked at the other three toa -- because Tuyet had no idea that a lesterin wasn't a toa -- and asked; "what do you think? Should we go to Metru-Nui and see this new king Aurax? I guess the enemy of an enemy of an enemy is an enemy but like he's just the internal enemy of our enemy so he's like a friend?" OOC: @Tarn, @Nato the Traveler, @Onaku, @BULiK
  2. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro "He got a crystal ball that'll tell me where Axonn is?" @Nato the Traveler, @Tarn, @BULiK, @Onaku
  3. IC: Tuyet | Aboard Crimson Galleon, Metru-Koro "Alright fine, I get it," Tuyet grumbled as Excuse reprimanded her. She seemed almost petulant. "I feel like maybe bringing the bikes is a good idea, but having an airship is much faster for traveling as a group. Besides, with a League airship, we can totally put the blame on them for any damages to the landscape. Look Grouch, The nerd's right about needing to travel fast. You've got the ship, so what'll it take to get you to fly somewhere? Besides, you'd be able to tell your new toa lord you caught me, as like a prisoner or something. We could get me some manacles and make it like really convincing." @Tarn, @Nato the Traveler, @BULiK, @Onaku
  4. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro, Crimson Galleon "Why would I get in your tin-can mobile when we're in a perfectly sized airship right now," Tuyet countered. Looking at Xaril she added; "Come on man, don't you want to do something interesting with your life?" OOC: @Tarn, @Nato the Traveler, @BULiK, @Onaku, I fully expect Tuyet to get hurt in the next few posts.
  5. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro Triage's poor bottle was almost totally empty, but Tuyet found a way to drain the last few drops over her open mouth while Xaril was talking. She tossed the bottle back to Triage with a disgusted look and sad; "Don't make me steal this ship, Freeboy. I appreciate your kindness, but you're gonna have to dish up a whole lot more for the stunt your little group pulled in blowing up my home." She sighed, a little less coherent than she would have liked. She could stand up, but the walls were starting to move. Maybe in another minute, then she'd be ready to be a real firecracker again. "Look, I'm telling you all that I know. It's not like I have a little magic crystal ball with all the answers. You want a place to fly, how about we fly somewhere that has a way of finding someone. Know anyone or anywhere like that? Axonn's been here long enough." OOC: @Nato the Traveler, @Tarn, @BULiK, @Onaku
  6. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro "You don't happen to know where Axonn is do you? I totally tracked him to a matoran shrine east of the volcano between two rivers of fire, but he ended up getting the drop on me. When I tried to get away he like grabbed on again. Very handsy guy. I mean like literally he's got huge hands. I don't like him." OOC: @BULiK, @Tarn, @Nato the Traveler, @Onaku
  7. IC: The Administrator | Elemental Temple Ruins of Stone (Tobduk-Koro) “The purpose of this temple was to cut the darkness from Builders, leaving only the light. This particular temple was built by Pohatu. This was before my time. It was then modified after the arrival of the Great Spirit of Nightmares. This was when I arrived. The Builders saw me for what I was: true and pure. They invited me into their temples, and now I am the Administrator. Now Atamai NUVA is all alight, and Arkius NUVA Proxima is awakened in the eyes of the Krom. “Unexpected is a correct assessment. Without data of a successful NUVA implementation I was unable to determine what side effects may occur. I have found stating undetermined information can be damaging to an individual’s psychological state, so I omitted such a mention before the NUVA implementation was conducted. Perhaps not ethical by your standards, but I am not bound by such regulations. Besides, it’s all science in the end. Sometimes it is important to have a control group of ignorant breathers.” The Admin fell silent for a moment. It got rather quiet. Then, when Collector considered the Administrator had forsaken the temple forever, the Administrator continued; “A lack of prayer led to my eventual decay. Like a tree in Winter, I chose to disconnect parts of the network that demanded power but had not been accessed for several thousand years. Unfortunately, I was unaware I would be unable to remotely reconnect. Consider it an oversight in my design. I am remotely accessing all these temples, and each requires prayer and input to reconnect.” OOC: @Toru Nui, @Harvali IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro “Okay then, stay in denial for all I care,” Tuyet snapped back at Xaril’s declaration of individuality. He sounded like every other League soldier she’d met who declared they were free because a higher power told them to go fight and die with honor. He was the one with the airship anyways, so she tried not to take the bait and fight about it. She really tried. “So, The League’s got no idea what it is now. Neat. I guess that’s freedom for ya. Back to you then, something about Nuju and a far shore? I know Nuju. He was a scholar in Ko-Metru, kinda shady but not like a bad matoran. He and Nidhiki were close, so maybe he’s bad by association? I've never heard of a Far Shore though. Is it like a resort or something? Also, isn't this an airship, shouldn't we be like flying somewhere or something?" OOC: @Nato the Traveler, @BULiK, @Tarn, @Onaku
  8. IC: FIRE SUVA INVENTORY | Fire Suva, Ash Barrens Item Deposited: Unidentified Sword. A piece of cloth, origin unknown, a plant-based fabric. Item Deducted: Flame Sword, origin unknown, ability to conjure bursts of elemental flame along the blade, hurl fireballs, and heat objects on contact. Current Inventory: Mask of Shielding, origin Forgemaster Dume, power to protect the wearer with a field of pure elemental energy drawn from the wearer. Mask of Quick Travel, origin Chronicler Icarax, power to teleport the wearer, their possessions, and up to one willing companion and their possessions the wearer can touch, anywhere within the wearer’s immediate line of sight. The further the distance, the less safe the landing. Crystal Blade of the Archipelago, origin Forgemaster Mata-Nui, capable of harming intangible beings of shadow. A crumpled up piece of paper, origin unknown, heavily used. A piece of cloth, origin unknown, a plant-based fabric. OOC: @Harvali, you'll need to actually use paper for this getting that note out. You may add the below to Mahrika's Profile. Crystal Blade of the Archipelago (Legendary Weapon, Long Sword): these beautiful blades of azure antidermis crystal hold a dark past. When an aspect of makuta is struck by a Crystal Blade of the Archipelago, they are removed from whatever being or form they possess and are forced into their original gaseous state. This blade can also harm an aspect of makuta while in their gaseous state. IC: The Rock Rahi | Kumu Peninsula The three stood by the rock, some more happy with themselves than others. The rock rahi was also one of the happy ones. “So where are we going,” asked the rock. Clods of dirt rolled around its base as it slowly turned, as if to look at Tekmo, Whira, and Cravious all in turn. “I’m very hungry, and there just aren’t enough things to eat in the green pools where I came from.” OOC: @Kal the Guardian, @Toru Nui, @~Xemnas~
  9. Happy to resolve that question. As a general reminder, after the Roast & Toast and time dependent I will be available for rules specific questions.
  10. @Sparticus147, Gore Fury and The Gadunka are approved MCs. @Harvali: Kardaka is approved
  11. I believe you are referring to this sample from BS01: Reading it over, based on the rules for Six Kingdoms the Onu-Matoran in this game would have the following passive breed quirks: Darkvision, which is not the same as omniscience in darkness. They can see, realistically speaking. light sensitivity easily blinds a matoran of earth Earth matoran as a group are stronger than other matoran elemental groups. As individuals, this can of course vary.
  12. IC: Reliable Narrator | Fire Suva, Ash Barrens The two other nubs on the two other rings became flush, sinking away and locking the final two rings in place atop the suva. Mahrika realized she’d done it -- she’d solved a suva puzzle! The same voice echoed in her mind as she felt the presence of something coming online in the small suva temple. The air hummed with activity, and Mahrika felt an itch on the back of her neck. Sure enough, Mahrika and Ollem heard the familiar voice in their mind: New user Mahrika registered. New user Ollem registered. This suva contains the following items: Mask of Shielding, origin Forgemaster Dume, power to protect the wearer with a field of pure elemental energy drawn from the wearer. Mask of Quick Travel, origin Chronicler Icarax, power to teleport the wearer, their possessions, and up to one willing companion and their possessions the wearer can touch, anywhere within the wearer’s immediate line of sight. The further the distance, the less safe the landing. Flame Sword, origin unknown, ability to conjure bursts of elemental flame along the blade, hurl fireballs, and heat objects on contact. A crumpled up piece of paper, origin unknown, heavily used OOC: congrats on the solve, @Burnmad and @Harvali.
  13. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro “Call me a hypocrite, but you may be jumping ahead a little too fast,” Tuyet said in response to Okuo’s question. “Let’s get back to that, but you, “she gestured with a nod towards Xaril, “just said Pridak’s dead and it’s been a month. So a Toa rules Metru-Nui again, but for the League? That’s just wrong. Not like wrong in a this shouldn’t be happening oh no the time continuum kinda vibe, but like in a toa shouldn’t be leading the League kinda vibe, you know. I mean, aren’t you all against the whole chosen matoran belief system? Didn’t you all have this stick up your collective exhaust vents that you didn’t want to just do your job like the rest of us?” OOC: @Nato the Traveler, @Tarn, @BULiK, @Onaku IC: Reliable Narrator | Fire Suva, Ash Barrens The red ring gave a soft clicking sound as it rested in its place. Mahrika noticed the little nub become flush with the rest of the ring. A success! The other two rings continued to spin freely, and the nub was still present. She was feeling really good about her discovery. OOC: @Harvali @Burnmad
  14. IC: Reliable Narrator | Fire Suva, Ash Barrens Mahrika’s continued persistence revealed no mystical voice in her head. There was one doorway facing true north. Builders believed in cycles, and circles were sacred. The last suva she assisted with involved the telling of time There were three colored rings that matched three colored facial features on the busts. Having tried lining the rings up with the doors multiple times offered no solution. She felt pretty confident this time... OOC: @Harvali, @Burnmad (ppssst, Ollem's been quiet for a while)
  15. So cool! It's weird to think Ninjago has been around 10 years already. I haven't even bought a set yet
  16. Oh gosh, if I ever get around to getting my bins out I might have a few Mctoran I could part with. Definitely go with other offers first though!
  17. Thanks, I appreciate you linking it! I'll get a response up ASAP. EDIT: a hint regarding how I design puzzles... I try to use each component of a puzzle once. For example, if a candlestick needs to be placed on a shelf in a certain place to open a secret door you would not later need that same candlestick to solve another portion of the puzzle. 2nd Edit: Congratulations on the solve for the Fire Suva @Harvali and @Burnmad! 3rd Edit: lots of edits today, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew there was an update to the GAMEPLAY TOPIC. The Game Map has been updated to reflect the finding of a Hafu Statue, along with the additions of Ko-Pou and Kini-Koro. You may also notice something else when looking at the map, but I'll leave that up to you all to discover.
  18. @Harvali, can you link your most recent Fire Suva post so I can respond? Kinda not finding it easily. Thanks!
  19. The majority vote was for the event to take place in the discord you all got cooking, so us GMs will just need invites at that time.
  20. IC: Rahi-Rock | Kumu Peninsula "Oh no trouble at all, apology accepted," said the rahi that looked like a rock. Strangely, the voice was on the air rather than coming from a specific source. "I'm sure it'll buff out after a few centuries. What brings you here?" OOC: @Toru Nui, @~Xemnas~, @Kal the Guardian
  21. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro "You're doing great Doc. Still conscious, not trying to kill me, you're doing good. Give it five minutes." Tuyet took the bottle gratefully, the lid unscrewing with a metallic screech. After a quick sip she plopped it in her lap, fully intent on finishing it off, and turned her attention back to the League warrior. He had that sort of League look to him: pouty, aggressive, and big. Or was that the toa look? She couldn't care less. "Fill me in: Pridak's still in charge right? It's been two days for me since I last saw Buddy, and I'm absolutely horrible with calendars." OOC: @Nato the Traveler, @BULiK, @Tarn, @Onaku
  22. IC: Tuyet | Metru-Koro "In my defense I didn't put the city there, if that's what you're thinking," Tuyet said as Xaril demanded an explanation. "I just have bad luck catching someone who doesn't belong here. His name's Axonn, and this is the second time he's gotten away from me. He's got help now, powerful help. It's like he's got friends on the other side, and he hits like a kane-ra." Tuyet's fingers wiggled for the bottle in Triage's bag. She couldn't reach it. She sighed and leaned back, hands placed behind herself to stay upright. "I'm afraid the whole saving the universe from collapsing by using the six disks of time didn't work. If anything, I think we might of made it totally worse. I dunno though -- I haven't hopped far enough out to see. Since Axonn I'm worried of having like another accident." OOC: @Nato the Traveler, @BULiK, @Tarn, @Onaku
  23. If there is a way to do so I am okay with the idea of recording it.
