  1. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "Friends? Yes. Oh yes. They miss me very much. If you could tell my friends I'm here, that would be wonderful." Ooc: @The UltimoScorp
  2. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "I like you," Nuju said after a moment's pause. "you're perhaps the first to actually greet me, introduce yourself, and show a speck of empathy. Katrin NUVA you said. Yes, it makes sense, I can see it. Your sister just left." He fizzled out of reality, and then returned. "I regret to say I'm dead. The rift to my left is what sustains me in your world. Without it, I would cease to exist. Should you enter the Far Shore I'm sure you'll see plenty more unnatural things. Care to be a tourist there as well?" Ooc: @The UltimoScorp
  3. Love the use of pieces from different eras! Seeing throwbots mixed in with newer skull spiders is really cool. I can't help but love the (perhaps unintentional) symmetry of the throwbots piece being on the back and the skull spider piece being on the front, as if the character is passing through time and walking towards some unseen future. The diorama is really cool too, and I love how you incorporated both System and Technic components into the MOC.
  4. IC: Grime | Kumu Temple "Well," Grime continued after tearing his eyes from Korruhn's self inflicted wounds; "what about these suva-like things? They're red. They're round. They seem important. Or is that just me?" Grime absentmindedly patted the side of the nearest red dome. Maybe dumping Korruhn's blood on it would do something. OOC: @Gecko Greavesy, @EmperorWhenua, @Crimson Jester IC: Miserix | Northern Wastes Taua was too focused, too lost int the fight to notice. Miserix crooned to the merged consciousness of the skakdi; don't forget darlings, I'm here for you. Then she was gone, with only her empty vessel in Taua's possession as a calling card. OOC: @Kal the Guardian, @NorikSigma, @Sparticus147 she's gone for now, but the offer remains.
  5. IC: Administrator | Elemental Temple of Air "Goodbye, Viltia Nuva. Until we meet again," said the voice of the AI.
  6. IC: Reliable Narrator | Mi-Kiri Mahrika placed her spare mask in the copper lined recess in the wall. A spark of energy arced from the mask and the copper, and the doorway filled with a shimmering rainbow of repulsive energy. The barrier remained as long as the mask was left in the recess. Sorilax’s reinforcements arrived within the hour, and together the group assembled a quick plan with the extra kanohi collected from Le-Metru Nuva. The red light lit first, followed by the yellow light, and finally the center white light. Having filled all three recesses with a mask, the barriers dropped and the two rahkshi and matoran could move freely once more. They had discovered a new way to manipulate the doors. “Wow. Exciting. Real progress. I’d help, but it’d be no fun telling you the combination,” chimed the Administrator. “I’m sure you’ll get there eventually. I can’t wait to get it all on video.” ooc: @Kal the Guardian, @Harvali
  7. As it's an MC and a rahi, let's go with two of the same mask to make the muaka do the thing. Maybe the extra mask makes it easier to access.
  8. "All along it was a conversation, not a monologue." This one's for you, lore hunters.
  9. IC: Reliable Narrator | Metru-Nui Some say time is a line. It marches forward, leaving those it touches behind in the dust. Others say time is a circle. Each action is just an echo of an older action, and all are trapped in the neverending cycle. And others ask if time is both. Does time move forward while also circling like a sort of spiral or drill? Does it carve its way forward while returning to points its seen before, noticing how the memories have changed and shifted over the course of eons. Whatever the case, we move forward in time. We always walk forward, but sometimes there’s a brief moment where someone can turn around and follow their footsteps back and choose another path. We are back in Metru-Nui before the cataclysm. We are adrift among the stars, and the Great Spirit is awaking. The silver towers of a magnificent metropolis glitter in their hubris beneath the changed constellations and a solar eclipse. Matoran stare at the ground for fear of being blinded. Toa rush to Ko-Metru to consult the new prophecies. Taja disk surfs the other way, determined to seek spiritual counsel. And a very scared turaga bites his tongue and slinks into the shadows of his office. He rubs the Nui stone set in his necklace and places more of his power into it. He can feel it: the time is coming, and there will be many matoran he’ll need to turn. He remembers the dusty ashes of where they escaped from. He remembers the screams, and the fell monsters summoned from the volcano. He remembers the temples, and the wars, and the dark agents of misfortune. He hopes his Mata-Nui stays asleep forever. He remembers Atamai, and has watched him live in ignorance of his fate. He has kept him safe, to his own frustration and the many sleepless nights. Dume lights a candle, and retreats to a corner. He watches the flickering light, and with what little bit of his power remains tries to make it match his breathing. It is a calming exercise Lhikan taught him. It isn’t working. Not on this never-ending day of eclipse. Dume feels the thumping against his chest, and he knows time is running out. He is the pilot, and he cannot leave. He is trapped… Across the Silver Sea, beyond the great divide and sitting on his throne of spoils, Barraki Pridak sneers at the sun. He has challenged a Great Spirit, and they’ve answered him. He reads reports from the front line: Mantax cedes an island to the matoran defenders. Kalmah is gathering equipment on the island of Artahka. The Shadowed One will align with Metru-Nui to put them at ease, and then the Dark Hunters will finish the job they were paid to complete. Pridak grips the armrest of his throne. The great leader of the Barraki feels his display of power, and thinks of how far he’s come. He remembers the torment of creation. He remembers becoming a Prime Being. He scowls… Brutaka sits in meditation, watching the stars as they turn and shift. He considers the weight of their recent victory, and the loss of life on both sides. He watches the undead in their cages. They gnaw against the bars and each other with indiscriminate hatred. Rose will torch them, Brutaka imagines. He remembers Axxon, and he thinks of the Order of Mata-Nui. He fears their task is coming to an end. The towering general knows his fate will be found in the City of Legends. He will return... And Viltia sings and speaks from death, and she works to help as only she can. Her taboos glow, and her tethers that exist between death and life offer aid. For she, in a brief moment, has walked forwards into the past, and has painted the stars. And now we realize, as time has marched forward, that all along it was a conversation, not a monologue: Don't you love the stars? How beautiful they are? How stupidly the matoran stare at them and wonder if their motions mean anything? That's silly. I'm just painting who matters up here. Because I can't remember how fast time flies for you. Oops. Wrong timing. Let me fix that. I can fix things. A little rusty but I'm getting the hang of it. No. No I don't need your help. thank you I can do this. Goodbye. Hello. Goodbye. Hello. ______ ooc: @Kal the Guardian, Viltia NUVA is now available for play, and she will re-appear in the Elemental Temple of Air as we've seen previously, as Viltia NUVA, bathed in the Light of Tren Krom. Congrats.
  10. Hey @Bioniclefan7782: see here for how to play this particular game. Porting a character means taking a profile from a previous Six Kingdoms game and leaving it unchanged when moving to the next Six Kingdoms game. Hope that helps.
  11. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui The winds of change favored Kat. She could feel the light burn in her chest after the hike from where she'd been recuperating to the floating temple on the silver lake. Around her were the sights and smells and sounds of faith in action. The soft lapping of the waves against the walkways signaling the cycles of life, the stone pillars reminding her of the enduring spirit of the Builders, and the open air teaching her to be free. Kat didn't need so much of the last lesson. She saw the ghost named Nuju in his frizzled disarray, zapping in and out of existence, as she approached the portal where Onaku vanished into the unknown. Nuju nodded at her, and replied; "I wouldn't know, I can't leave. Hello to you as well. It's nice to be greeted. I am Nuju. Are you here to discover what you might within the shifting realm of the Far Shore? Are you here to be a hero, or are you just a tourist?" ooc: @The UltimoScorp
  12. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "I don't see why not," said Nuju. "Depends on your definition of home I guess. Someone lost forever may be right at home wandering. Anyone in particular?" Ooc: @Onaku
  13. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui “Not enough,” Nuju repeated. OOC: @Onaku, @Gecko Greavesy, @Sparticus147 IC: Reliable Narrator | Ash Barrens Opal’s form rippled from the Realm of Nightmares into existence in the Time Between Time with a guttural popping sound and a peel of thunder. Her body fell, as all objects generally did wherever gravity existed, and slammed into the ziggurat built among the petrified trees of the Ash Barrens. Stones turned to powder, debris filled the air, and a gap large enough for her to jab a claw through formed. To the monster’s surprise the inside of the temple was a field of stars, as if a whole galaxy had been stuffed inside a simple temple. She also experienced a sudden wave of terror, a violent desire to leave, to be anywhere else but here… OOC: @Gecko Greavesy I believe the diamond stone is in place in the amaja circle of this temple. Opal would be compelled to flee the hex. Also @Kal the Guardian, and @~Xemnas~ IC: Takadox | Spiriah’s Labyrinth He coughed fitfully in the dim light of the room. It wasn’t the daylight he’d hoped, but it was better than nothing, and the stone dome in the room's center was refreshingly cool to lean his back against. Every sound echoed off the purple and cyan crystals growing in the walls and floor. The half-light of the space came from an unknown source, which bugged Takadox to no end, but for a moment made him feel a bit safer than the indeterminate length of time spent in darkness. It was a dull light, but for Takadox his eyes were still adjusting and tears slid down the edges of his kanohi. He held up some of his acquired items in the light. One of the items was a hefty axe, with a beak on one end. Takadox realized the metal wasn't normal -- it shimmered differently than normal grade weaponry. Perhaps protosteel, he considered, but how in the six kingdoms could a protosteel axe end up in the hands of a mesi warrior? He'd heard of weirder things. He set the axe aside. It was too heavy for him. He held the disks up towards the light next, but they were too caked in mud and battered from travel to make out what powers they contained. He considered throwing them against the wall to find out, but thought better of it. He'd seen enough reconstitute at random accidents in his time. With a sight he laid them down gently, doing his best not to accidentally activate anything. Takadox wasn’t alone though. He knew that. The cursed shadows that stretched like tendrils across the space were full of deceit. Spiriah was there, just waiting like he always did. Takadox rubbed the stump of his arm and clenched his jaw in frustration. “I’m not falling for this,” Takadox growled towards a particularly dark spot. “You’re not gonna get me with a little taste of light. I’m smarter than that, you know.” Oh I know, said the dark voice that dogged him. You’re so much smarter than even you give yourself credit. You’re one of the last ones left, after all. And it’s all about survival isn’t it. Survive then, prime one. Survive.
  14. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "Not enough," said Nuju. Ooc: @Onaku
  15. IC: Grime | Kumu Temple "Uh, that's a lot of blood," Grime muttered as he watched Korruhn slash himself with a knife and proceed to seek a suitable place to drain himself. ooc: @Gecko Greavesy, @EmperorWhenua, @Crimson Jester IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "Well, whatever you do," Nuju interrupted; "just remember to walk in the light. The light is the safest place." He turned to Onaku, noticing how the once-toa kept viewing the rift. "You are interested, aren't you. I will tell you that whatever you find will change your life. For better or worse I don't know, but you'll never see anything like it again." ooc: @Gecko Greavesy, @Onaku
  16. I mean... ocean water just rushed in. There's your noise. EDIT 1: NPC Profiles for Grime, Takadox, and Irnakk are available in the Rules topic (see the first post just above the list of approved characters). Please remember some information may be unknown to your characters, and some information may still need to be discovered. EDIT 2: @Onaku, here are the Far Shore Adventure prompts for your PC: Timeline: A Element: Lightning Conflict: Character vs Character Twist: The Cake is a Lie Optional Matoran Principles (available prompts shown, may pick up to 3): Accuracy Courage Creation Duty Faith Peace Purity Speed Stamina Strategy Unity Willpower have fun!
  17. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui Nuju clucked and whistled as he thought. His body fazed in and out of existence before coming back into a clear enough focus to considered more than just a reflection. "There was once one Makoki Stone, but it was broken into six fragments. One fragment was cast into the Far Shore, and it was found by Stannis who then absconded with it rather than placing it in the wall. I do not know where the other stones may be, only that they were scattered and are items of great power. As for finding more than one such relic in a place that doesn't exist full of things that never were -- perhaps. I'm no Great Spirit, but I've seen stranger things in my time." ooc: @Gecko Greavesy, @Onaku
  18. New Map in IC topic. Re-posting here for visibility: If you had a character storing items in a Suva that no longer exists, those items are now gone and cannot be accessed.
  19. IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui “Ostrox,” Nuju said confidently in the silence after Onaku spoke. “Ostrox is the one to find. He’s difficult, likes to fight, but he was a warrior of Mantax. He’ll know where to find Irna and Mazor, or at least he’ll want to help. By the way, since when did the ocean reach the valley? Is this a new civic project?” Nuju gestured towards the missing mountain range to the south, and the sudden glittering of the ocean shore. In the far distance across the rippling waves were the green boughs of the Fau Swamp. The waters between landmasses swirled violently, sucked into the void where moments before mountains rested. “Maybe time is running out." OOC: @Gecko Greavesy, @Toru Nui (just in case), @Onaku, @Sparticus147 IC: Miserix | Taua's Mind, Northern Wastes She would not be ignored, even in the throes of Taua's desperate struggle for survival. Behind the brutality and the screaming Miserix waited calmly. She felt the strain of three minds pulling taut and, uninvited, she made herself at home. Don't you feel it darling? Your outlook is not so good even three as one. Let me help you. Let me make this right. ooc: @Kal the Guardian, @Sparticus147, @NorikSigma
  20. IC: Grime | Kumu He took a step back. Blood sacrifice sounded pretty warskak, not aspect. His eyes wandered about, feet rooted in one spot. Was this all just a trap? Was the thing inside Stannis planning to kill them all? "If this place is a temple, then there must be a secret space where the stories of the spirit's acts or their treasures are enshrined. Often it's a sanctum of some kind. If we could find if, I'm sure there'd be something worth our time." IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "That would be a question for Mazor or Irna. They were the keepers of this device. I never saw it glow though," Nuju answered both Onaku and Sidra at once. "It seems the scales have tipped. If only we knew which way." Ooc: mobile, no tags.
  21. Sadly, through countless moves I've cast away the canisters. A big regret now that I'm wanting to make a display.
  22. IC: Irnakk, Great Spirit of Nightmares | Realm of Nightmares Opal looked back for aid, and Irnakk took pity on his new toy. “There now, you have much to bring back to me. Look -- I see a group of weary travelers resting in the lands of fire and ash.” Irnakk waved his hands and revealed a space where a strange cube-like vehicle was parked amidst the falling ash from the volcano. “They will make a nice addition, and are long overdue.” In the Time Between Time a flickering in the air began to occur about a hundred paces from The Cube. Doubtless, someone would notice. It looked like the dark shadow of a lightning strike, but suspended in time, and through it came a sense of dread. OOC: @Gecko Greavesy, @Kal the Guardian, and I do believe @~Xemnas~ IC: Nuju | Kini-Nui "Uh, are you doing that? If so, could you kindly stop," asked Nuju politely, drawing Sidra's attention momentarily away from the eavesdroppers and back to the object in her hand. It was glowing with a soft light from the inside, the light threatening to burst out through the ridges of the malleable object. Sidra felt the Krom Sphere shift in her hands without her command, its shape repeatedly forming in a single pattern of three: a sphere, a triangular prism, a hexagonal prism... OOC: @Gecko Greavesy, @Onaku, @Sparticus147, almost forgot this detail.
  23. IC: Grime | Temple, Kumu He kicked the obelisk. "Come on, what's hiding in there? Open up." ooc: @Gecko Greavesy, @EmperorWhenua, @Crimson Jester. IC: Reliable Narrator | Elemental Temple of Air She felt a language of shapes call to her: A sphere. A triangle. A hexagonal prism. ooc: @Kal the Guardian, music is here
