  1. Well, this has escalated quite noticeably, hasn't it? I'll have to bring one of my latest acquisitions in the reference dept. *sigh* I'm gonna regret this... Unfazed by the mayhem, I pull up a decent mid-00s flip phone and drop a line to my friend over at Clamburg. [phone call redacted for brevity] She'll be here soon. [travel time from Clamburg to wherever we are redacted for brevity] A blue Adobe Flash-animated girl gets off a cab, notices KARDAS DRAGON, runs straight at it stupidly dodging all danger, and starts singing a sickeningly adorable song about dragons, complete with Adobe Flash-animated visuals.
  2. IC [Luntep - in the middle of Po-Koro]: "I..." Would it have been a better idea not to call it "workplace"? Because Luntep couldn't explain his reasons to call it that now. Like, what was his job? Farmer? Attendant? Delivery guy? Handmaid? "I... I am... Luntep." That didn't answer the question. He'd have to defend. "...and you? Who are you?"
  3. IC: Vrokdann - The Aquarium [Aqua Magna] "A big yellow button then. If anything happens, a big yellow button is gonna save us." -A big yellow button indeed.- From this vantage point, the waters looked lonely and old. They had become calm, at the expense of making everyone afraid of disturbing them. Only those who forged their will to the waters could thrive in them. And they weren't exactly the kind you'd want to meet. The shore was likewise as lonely, but not as old. The waves kept refreshing it, even against its desires. It was inviting to whatever drifted away from danger. This time, however, something drifted into danger. -Hey. Look at that. That thing right there, look at it.- "Where? You mean that thing? It's just a..." She couldn't distinguish what the creature was, but it made her extremely uneasy. It was black, metallic, rough, pointy, yet also squirmy in its movement. It had three eyes in a triangular formation, and a bright set of fangs. Overall, it looked painful. "That's..." -Beautiful...- "...definitely out of the ordinary." Vrokdann punched the big yellow button with way too much strength and yelled into it. "CHIEF! THERE'S A BIG UGLY THING HEADING YOUR WAY! BETTER LOOK OUT!" She knew he'd heard, but a part of her also hoped he didn't have to go back up just for that... OOC: Apologies for any colour inconsistencies, I'm quite colourblind and this new palette isn't helping. Vrokdann's meant to be brown and "Drendakk"'s meant to be some sort of orange.
  4. Yay! But also no! Oh well, it was fun. There's some pics I should've captioned better (like that Nuparu one, sigh), but overall I'm happy with the result. Thank you JAG18, thank you fellow players, may the BIONICLE Caption Contest live on forever.
  5. Humbled, I accept the lecture about healthy eating. This knowledge becomes, as it tends to happen, power. I use this power to summon the food pyramid!!! However, my Venezuelan region-lock intervenes in the summoning. Instead the large, majestic, government-approved food trompo materialises, its string of water and physical activity ripping it towards KARDAS DRAGON!!! [image for reference. the one herein is much larger, and much more majestic, but unfortunately much less government-approved]
  6. I eat a whole canister of random gears to activate my H E R O M O D E ! Then I shoot some dogdeballs of doom at it.
  7. IC: Vrokdann - The Aquarium [Aqua Magna] Well, there were her orders! -Ask him about the bait! What it's made of!- "Uhh... fine! I'll do that!" she said, not sure who she was replying to, maybe both. The tall blue figure gave her a chance to ask, and from the looks of it she'd turned it down. So he would leave. "Wait!" she cried awkwardly. -It was just a joke, girl, don't do that.- "How do I call you? If something's wrong? You're gonna be way down there, do I just yell, like hey boss there's uh, a giant mutant bug aahh what do we do? Just like that?"
  8. IC [Luntep - in the middle of Po-Koro]: Luntep was still frozen in place. Yes, he knew what a watering hole was... probably. The explanation was helpful anyway. If only he was as helpful. "Oh! Oh yes, yes, I know of one pretty close to my... workplace." Luntep started heading in the tavern's direction, hoping the spiky guy would pick up the non-verbal indication. "I don't go there much, mostly to deliver supplies." Why would the spiky guy care??
  9. The fact that it's called the Stolara is already a pun on it being stolen, so... Just read your post BTW, will get on it soon.
  10. 'sup y'all. How have you been? I'm okay. My girl's on a ship waiting to receive some orders. I write because I saw some activity around the New Atero Parking District, and I just wanted to remind y'all Vrokdann left her ship (the Stolara) there, completely unsupervised. Any potential thieves are not to look for a lime green and silver Axalara, with noticeable wear and corrosive sphere launchers. Specially not any previous owners wishing to recover it. [wink] Thank you for your attention.
  11. Race for the Mask of Life. [a bit of a stretch yes, but how are we escaping the R-K-I cycle otherwise?]
  12. OOC: yippee! IC [Luntep - just inside Po-Koro]: Well, so far this had been disappointing. Luntep had been in Po-Koro for what, months already? It was hard to keep track of time in such an uneventful village. His rations had already run out, and the one job he could land was miserable and physical. All the tales he'd caught were about some mess over at Ko-Koro he didn't care much about. At least, he'd had lots of time to think. Lots. So, one more day began: He got up from his sleeping corner (right next to the Mahi), greeted that guy he wouldn't dare call "boss" and went out to get some feed, both for him and for the cattle. It was cheap and didn't taste bad. Obviously they'd tell you if it wasn't healthy for Matoran, right? Otherwise you'd need a permit to buy it. And of course his... that guy cared enough about him to not let him eat things that'd kill him and make him useless, right? "So yeah, he ate Mahi feed and liked it." He left the store wondering why everyone stared at him, carrying the sack of feed with both hands. His bag was slung the usual way, containing some widgets along the now-traditional five discs and a key. Knowing that key's purpose was at the bottom of his priority list right now, next to changing that old Kaukau for something cooler, like a Komau or something. Not a Mahiki though, he hated those. It was in the middle of this aimless pondering (he hated that word now, pondering. it sounded so stupid) that a voice shot his way. He didn't know what to do now. A voice, directed to him? Unlikely. Who'd want to address some slow-thinking Earth guy that smells like Mahi? However, there was barely anybody else the voice could've been aiming towards, so he decided to turn around and address it. "Oh-" Luntep wasn't really sure what he expected the voice to come from, but it probably wasn't a large, spiky brute with silver armour and a massive grin. Unfortunately, that was the exact source of the voice, so a fair amount of the confidence he'd entered this potential conversation with was now lost. "...mmm...me?"
  13. The mask grows a set of dangerous, overly sharp, incredibly expensive but awesome CGI claws and latches onto your face while emitting nondescript automotive fluids. Once you're done taking that off, you open your surprisingly unscathed face to see me, holding not just the real Mask of Life, but also a dangerous, overly sharp, incredibly expensive but awesome CGI alien robot weapon thing to your face. "No sacrifice..." I couldn't possibly type down the noise that weapon made. Anyway you're dead. "...no victory." I ride away on my overcompensating Chevrolet while blasting some sweet MTM-era Linkin Park. The All- I mean the Mask is mine.
  14. Roporak. (I say we give a couple days/pages off from the pics till we're all accustomed to the new boards, cuz I'm still not sure how to get them but I sure don't wanna lose the habit...)
  15. BZP's back! Yay!!! ...can my Onu-Matoran('s corpse?) be acknowledged now?
  16. Glatorian. THEY HAVE SPOKEN. Yeah, the game has so much more spice to it with pics. It's educational, mildly challenging and fun! Not to mention it's gotta drive up BS01's hits to some extent...
  17. Ehrye. [using pics does appear to be JAG18's thing, at least recently, but upvoting those who used them was all mine!]
  18. IC: Vrokdann - The Aquarium [dunno... the sky?] On all her time down there, Vrokdann was never an idle person. She'd always be doing something. If she looked still, she was doing something in her head. That, combined with her outright neglect of air travel on a society that needs it to exist, made her completely forget how long and boring air travel usually was. Everything she could do to ease the boredom, she tried. Messing with the (stale) bed, with the (empty) drawers, with the (also empty) closet, with her (locked) weapon, with her (scrap-filled) spikes, but the one thing she tried the most, was looking out the very small window. The tried must be stressed here, because the field of view the window provided had little to show, and what little it showed was half sand, half sky. Vrokdann was about to go out and ask exactly what she was requested to refrain from, when one final peek through the window was different: instead of blue and tan, it was blue and... some very dirty blue. -Looks like we're there!- "Shall we confirm?" Then a noticeable decrease in speed answered that as well. So Vrokdann stepped out, assuming it was her cue. "Hey, boss! Ready for your orders!"
  19. Kiril. [apparently my plan of using and upvoting pics to make everyone always use pics worked! *lawful neutral laughter*]
  20. Gali: Okay, I'm gonna change now! NO PEEKING! Kivoda: But what if the- Gali: I said NO PEEKING!! PERIOD!!! Kivoda: Okay, okay! Geez...
  21. Out comes a Speedor! In goes a rainbow flag (t o p i c a l)!
  22. Yup, a lot has happened. I don't know, I don't care. Whatever he's doing I'll take it. Specially if it's online. A musical would be interesting indeed...
