  1. I would do anything to get more if those games, especially the Mission ones. Before I was able to upgrade to a computer that could actually run "proper" games, Mission: Von Nebula was my favourite game (after MNOG, of course. ).
  2. I agree with you there, I'm one of them too, but LEGO is a business, and businesses work for money. Bionicle got a G2 because every cool kid used to have them Toa in the 2000s, but not every cool kid had a Furno or a Stormer. And we know the rest of the story. Lol! Wait, you aren't serious--are you? ... AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!! You monster! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!
  3. I'm sorry guys, but to be honest, I really wouldn't want Hero Factory to be related to Bionicle G1 or 2. Now, I don't want to start an argument like what happened on the Hashtags thread, but here's my reasoning: Bionicle has always been about the story. Yes, the story was created to promote the toys. Yes, G2 isn't as invested on story. However, Hero Factory is different. Hero Factory is like Garry's Mod: It's a big, open sandbox that's not limited by heavy lore (that being said, I love the HF lore, even moreso than Bionicle. I know, I'm weird) and is open to any fan ideas. While Bionicle had its canon contests, HF LITERALLY let you make your own monster report and it would be uploaded to the website's main page. Canon right there. Also, tonally, Bionicle is VERY different. Other than some of "those scenes" in The Legend Reborn, Bionicle is kinda dark in some places. I don't mean G2 though. Not in the slightest. While Breakout and the books did take a darker approach, it wasn't as dark as Bionicle, and it's HF, so it would have a happy cliche ending. Lenny, you've come up with great ideas in terms of an HF finale, but right now, I'm not too invested with the idea. Don't stop coming up with ideas, I could be totally wrong and this could all be absolute schlock and in fact the two are connected. I'm just saying. TL;DR It's an option.
  4. Honestly, other than a couple of things here and there, HF sets seem fine to me. But one thing that I always wondered about was if they actually would make a Stringer 2.0 set, because in Breakout 1 he has 3 arms: two normal CCBS arms, but then his right-hand weapon is his 1.0 weapon, which was his arm... Just go watch the beginning of the Breakout 1 episode on the LEGO YouTube channel and you'll see what I mean.
  5. I mean, it's a nice idea, but I'm not sure if it would really suit HF. While Star Wars, Marvel, etc. do have a cutesy side, with Tsum Tsum and all, HF is more of a "constraction, constraction, constraction" line that sticks to one style. For example, I didn't really like the IFB Heroes because they were minifigures instead of normal action figures. That being said though, HF BHz could be quite nice for a collection, so it's a maybe.
  6. What did you say? Just imagine if Christian Faber saw this. I would feel so sorry for him.
  7. That's exactly what I'm saying. It's an utterly awful and unrealistic review of a KID'S FILM and there's even a REPORT THIS REVIEW button, yet it seems that nobody has found it. However, in case anyone is interested, I have just reported this review as inappropriate and am waiting to see what happens next...
  8. First Furno got an extra set with Wave 1, and Rocka is the new Furno, so yeah.
  9. Yep. You heard correctly. Common Sense Media, a parent/kids age rating website, has these reviews for HF: Rise of the Rookies / Savage Planet I mean... WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Hero Factory... a... a... a... 18+?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Please. Somebody PLEASE explain.
  10. I was just putting together some rough ideas for what a TT HF game would have and here are some new ideas I came up with that weren't on my other thread: Have an optional multiplayer feature where you can play missions with your mates online Possibly have a bit of squad-based stuff where you can maybe team up with other Heroes A bit like in some of the other TT games where there are other characters that you can get later in the level and change to LEGO SW III: TCW has an Indiana Jones mini-game in one of the Bounty Hunter missions, so... Maybe you could unlock Creep Crushers, Jungle Crushers, and new mini-games like Villain Crushers, Brain Crushers, etc. This idea I've been developing for quite a while. It's basically the ending to the game (yep, ending before the beginning) and what happens before is there's the final battle against Dark Maker, with him teleporting villains to the unknown final battle's location using his own Black Hole Orb Staff; you defeat him, he gets away, and this happens. Still in rough .txt form: in final battle (possibly at power plant or some previously established location from books, amuzo games, etc.) stormer uses hero recon team's last teleport beacon to teleport to dark maker's location dark maker attempts to use his black hole orb staff to teleport brains from an alternate reality to destroy the world, but stormer overloads the staff and both disappear in an electrical shock into the staff furno and other heroes break into the room after finding its location and see that only the staff remains cut to stormer's "funeral", attended by all the heroes, zib, quaddal, fortis, mr makuro and we see furno saying stuff about stormer and how he was a great hero, leader and stuff while furno is talking, cut to some workers (like the ones at the beginning of ordeal) putting staff in something like a safe, camera moves forward towards staff and lets off shock as if pulling player into it zoom into staff and we see many MANY planets (probably ones from other episodes, books and games), until we reach a planet with a storm above it zoom into planet quickly and see a colliseum-like building, cut to a grandmaster-like figure announcing the night's match cheering from crouds and from below we see stormer come out of one gate and looks damaged, now known as the "storm king", with ice sword, shield and battle armour, arena master announces reigning champion, heavy cheering going on, and the other gates are smashed open by - cut to black. roll credits. cue hero factory intro tune. * * * * * * * * * I really just had to include this classic villain, even if in a small part. Hope you like the ideas. Oh, and more insight into the original Alpha Team would really be great, Umarak. I would love to know more about the OG's, especially Thresher. He really should have been in more stuff. Definitely would love him as a playable character in a TT HF game.
  11. Here's one of my favourite quotes from HFFM (Bulk and Mak talking about the Tiger Ants): "The Crusher! Hey, tell me, is that some sorta special Hero move you've been developing at the Factory?" "Nah, it's a tank." "Oh."
  12. Alright, everyone. I thought it was time to make a thread to consolidate everything about a Hero Factory continuation, be it theories, wants, stuff, etc. There are already quite a few threads with smaller parts, but basically just throw all your ideas here. So far, just explore pages 1 and 2 of this forum and there's quite a lot of stuff. Anyway, my big thing would be a TT game, as I have FREQUENTLY stated in my previous posts. I already made a thread with some of my ideas, so you can check it out (but I'm not forcing you). For those of you who don't know (but I'm pretty sure you do know), TT, a.k.a. Traveller's Tales, have made almost all of the mainstream LEGO games since LEGO Star Wars (I think). You've got licensed serieseseses like Marvel, Batman, Star Wars and Harry Potter, and original LEGO works like Ninjago, Chima and City. The TT games are always great (almost finished Batman 1, and it's a blast) and I'm pretty sure there's at least one other person here who would like to have a TT Hero Factory game (even though, not be pessimistic or anything, it probably won't happen). Maybe you would want a double, triple or quadruple TV special, like Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Or another Secret Mission book? Or maybe a Hero Factory FM episode? Or an Amuzo mobile game (hey, I'm just throwing everything at this topic)? Really, there's so many options. Feel free to discuss them. I'd love to hear!
  13. Whoa! This is actually a great theory. My theory was (in an older topic) that the Dark Maker was an alternate reality version of Black Phantom (hence his design in Brain Attack) and was a master of creating stuff (according to some LEGO.com lore, Black Phantom creates all of his equipment, i.e. his Arachnix drones, Voltomace etc.). One day, however, his planet was attacked by Brains (the ones from Mirror World) and the Heroes just give up (sorta like the one alternate reality). DM, after all the damage is done, scavenges his planet for parts and builds a vortex machine that sends him to a different universe. He's now filled with rage against the Heroes and begins creating Brains and doing stuff to destroy them. Each time, he creates a new vortex to go to a new reality and wreak more havoc. Then he gets to the prime world. The real HF. He begins his journey long ago, which is where your theory comes into play. Stuff happens, bla bla, DM contacts Black Phantom (he would trust himself, duh), BP contacts Voltix and the Breakout happens. This would also explain how Voltix knows how to destroy the BHO Staff. TL;DR Your theory just works.
  14. Oh man. I saw this argument in the Bionicle board. I'm just going to go back to playing KotOR...
  15. Well, technically you could piece together Bulk, Stringer and Rocka 2.0 using the openings of Savage Planet 1 and Breakout 1 (I did this in LDD), but yeah, sets would have been great. Ordeal of Fire did introduce two great Heroes, Nex and Evo (or, should I say, Mac Brainy and Bill Dozer?), and I just remembered a cool theory for Evo from TTV that Evo had a Core transplant after OoF and that's why he's very different in Breakout. Ordeal of Fire also had some pretty cool in-universe news reports on LEGO.com which helped me for my timeline. Ordeal isn't the best episode compared to, say, Breakout, but it was pretty revolutionary for introducing CCBS. And it brought Creep Crushers. I love Creep Crushers.
  16. Same here. I've finally started putting together some stuff for an HF conclusion, one of which isn't really a conclusion but may lead to a conclusion. I did mention it a while back but basically my idea is to make an in-universe guide written by Raven Su (head of research at MURF). It would take the events of the all the episodes (but most likely not IFB) and also unofficially canonize certain events, characters, locations etc. from the games and other stuff. I.e. I've already started making LDD's of some of the things from the Breakout and Brain Attack games, like villain henchmen, Heroes, other species and so on, and if you're wondering just what kind of Heroes I would add in, just go here. P.S. I don't know about you but in a conclusion game/movie for HF, I would just LOVE the instrumental version of Shintaro Dungeon Whip playing in the background. It would be epic.
  17. Yeah! You receive the unofficial Hero Factory No Prize Award.
  18. So, The Crusher. Is it a move you've been developing at the Hero Factory?
  19. Ha ha ha ha! Legion of Darkness book, right. I remember reading it for the first time. Such a blast.
  20. Thanks so much! I'm sure at least a few people will be happy to see it.
