BZPower Forums Back Online

That's great. So when will www.BZPower.com front page be restored after almost 2 years of relying on the .info version? -
Canonization Contests in 2022
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Haven't there already been too many already, The main story became a mess with unfinished serials and now representations of characters are being added that aren't advertised by Lego themselves beside the web. I think it's just as bad as G2 Makuta who never had a official Mask Builder body set released and the second was a messy combiner that required a lot of sets and a online guide to build it and a unreleased mask of ultimate power released. His Mask of Control was only included with Umarak a Henchman working for him in season 2. -
Canonization Contests that you want to happen?
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Agreed a lot of old fans and newcomers won't expect polls that aren't advertised by lego themselves to become canon. I think that they have complicated what is and what is not canon in the series. It needs a fresh clean reboot but not poorly organized like G2 no poor under-advertising and not relying on the outdated CCBS. CCBS designs and re-adjusting for it is 18 years old by now. -
Sikon, Shield Of Mata Nui

But which knights kingdom set karzon or dracus. i dont remember. That metallic pattern does look nice. I wonder why lego stopped using them. Was it too expensive? -

That's a neat helmet, isn't it from one of those Knights Kingdom buildable big figures? -

I'd say bronze would be better than the orange. -
opinion: no, we DON'T need bionicle back
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Eiji Hino's topic in Bionicle Discussion
That still worries me on many levels. On one side kids like most cool stuff but when on the adult collector side, when something different get announced when adults know which votes actually won then it can cause anger and loss of sales. Think about it. It's you won a top of the line brand new car in a public giveaway (and the ticket money was going to help fund organizations) and a whole crowd was looking at the same car at the show. But when they tell you to come to the dealership, you get something completely different. like they cheated because the car was just for show and it's going to be indefinite ammount of months before the car comes. -

(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Eiji Hino's topic in Bionicle Discussion
That would be a big copout out of fear of losing money. If they do things like they did gen 1 then the "Internally Decided Theme" would work as a Bionicle theme. One of the biggest fails in my opinion was CCBS. Lego was using it since since 2010 HF 2.0 and people were probably tired of it or it was too heavily associated with Hero Factory and CCBS pieces always seem to be expensive to make. -
Help locating a specific Bionicle Bootleg
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to knux400's topic in Bionicle Discussion
It's probably better to just us shapeways. Bootleg sets are always have questionably quality control while Shapeways from people who registrate as legit sellers. If you want the hands to grip for bionicle weapons easily then i'd recommend these https://www.shapeways.com/product/CVAX6JMQC/b-jto-articulated-hands?optionId=153010345&li=marketplace they include axle grip handles for holding weapons. -
Toa doing hand-to-hand combat?

But it did not explain why they only had no weapon in their left arm in the web of shadows movie. Weird decision. -
Happy 20th anniversary, Bionicle’s 2002 story arc!
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
In regards to bohrok it was very creepy when av-matoran were revealed to have "potential destiny" to become a bohrok instead of a toa of light life. Think about how many matoran were destroyed in 2002, that's hardcore fringe horror for a kids toyline. When the av-matorans become mechanical shells for the krana. Or the krana part of their memories and the is type of krana pre-determined from their personality... or do the start as empty shells? -
Ninjago’s TV show has timing issues these days.
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Ninjago Discussion
It could be Cartoon Network re-arranging their shows. Don't be surprised if you see Teen Titans GO! a lot. The american version of CN really love to overuse that show. -
The most annoying set design problems in HF?
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Also Jetbug have a very noticeable flaw. His head is designed so he has Nitroblast's face on the other end on his head so lego could recolor it in red. This uneven face is noticeable from all angles except the front. I have a few of my own 2010 Stormer, Stringer and Bulk had specialized full weapons arm. Many sets during 2.0 had unevenly sized armor pieces on certain sets. Just look at how Natalie Breeze looks like. Starting with 2.0 Savage jungle and the other years many sets don't have fists on both arms just so they can create weapons instead. Furno XL is the worst offender...the designers could have put it on the side of arm (like Brain Attack Stormer's left weapon shield) Witch Doctor and Fire Lord and many other sets have big gaps in them Stringer lost his orange colors during the Breakout storyline. Lastly Bruizer from Brain Attack is just bad in every way imaginable just for a gimmick arm that is just awful -
Do all Rahkshi types look the same?
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
I would never work out to make 36 sets. Best way for all the other rahkshi would be to create one of those parts tub that has enough for 3 rahkshi skeletons and enough of colored rahkshi armor limb/feet pieces including heat vision yellow and other rare colors. A instruction book would be included to guide kids about what colors are needed. Staffs would be the only first 6 ones and possibly the tiny chronicler staff. -

Toa Mata with 2015 Colors
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to The Master of Energy's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
I don't thinks it's that easy. The chest plate, the Uniter Crystal Blade, Crystal armor piece seem difficult to render. Back on topic I agree that pohatu is very odd with a single neon arm but trans dark green eyes is also odd. Pohatu never has never had dark green eyes. I rebuilt mine differently recently by redistributing them so he has one neon limb on each limb and added tan armor pieces from a Star Wars Finn CCBS figure. -
If there is one thing i would want to see if possible. Is there a way to turn off "Vezon replaces all of the piraka" during level selection after the final level is beaten? I thought it was really odd that he replaces them and if you didn't do everything and played with the Piraka's before beating Vezon then you effectively lose the opportunity to use them.

Most irritating pieces to take apart
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Fry's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Yes but that was called Stealth Hunter. That set also used a gun barrel, a 3 length axle and a 1/2 half thickness liftarms that were 1x2 long. Thanks to Bricklink Studio i can create a demonstration. On the left is from Lego Exo-Force Stealth Hunter instruction manual. On the right two examples how pieces can get stuck in a bohrok piece. One is with a 3 length rod, a other method that can get stuck. I made the pieces transparent so you see what can happen, it's impossible to remove if it happens. -

I sort of figured it out myself (as in a mental image) as something that should never be tried when i first saw those pieces back when the bohrok first came out. -

Did you talk to Turaga Nuju if he needs to tell you to look for him before you can look for Kopeke. Easy way to find his spot is by using the Ta-Koro elevator upwards.
