  1. In regards to the Aqua Sphere puzzle room, I do have a couple questions: 1. You say "However, no matter how hard Sorilax tried, the powers of his elements would not cooperate. Somehow they were being dampened." Is the usage of the word "elements" there a broad descriptor to mean all powers? Or is it literally just elements, meaning Kraata powers can still be used? Since Mahrika wasn't told she couldn't use her powers, I'm guessing elements means elements. 2. Also about the elemental dampening. Does this include elemental weapons? Or do they still function normally? 3. Are there provided Kanohi or are we out of luck since Mahrika only has one extra and needs the other to function? (This is assuming we need to fill all three Kanohi slots)
  2. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Inside the Tower With - Mahrika Sorilax nearly lost his concentration as he stepped past the two chattering Vahki. Whether it was a deepened attunement to the force behind Taboos or his brief usage of his Life Kraata unique variant, suddenly he was able to sense the singular soul of the two Vahki broken in twain. In that moment, not only did he feel the underlying agony of the soul, but so too did Mahrika’s soul suddenly jump into his recognition. There was another soul bound to hers as well, no doubt her Kraata. Thankfully the range of his new sense was extremely limited and stepping past the two Vahki allowed the agony to drop from his mind and for him to continue concentrating on his Light bending technique. But his suspicions were now confirmed. This was a twisted form of soul binding, not at all the creation of true life. So his search continued on for the real thing, not this horrible mockery. Sorilax wasted no time once reaching the gaping hole in the floor. The cables went down and so too must they. He stepped off and let himself fall for two seconds. Then a hardlight platform blossomed from his invisible feet, all but stopping their descent. The edges of it were a pure white light, vibrant when looked at but not casting off much light so as to illuminate anything. The rest of it was almost as clear as crystal and very easy to see through. It expanded to fill the area of the downwards shaft, giving away that something was afoot were anyone to look, but it did not directly give away their exact position. Of course creating a hardlight construct was easy for Sorilax, so much so that he often did it as second nature and without much thought. And he even had practice in using his Light bending technique while having hardlight constructs set up. But having one holding his weight and then also moving while floating was a different matter entirely. This required more elemental energy and actual concentration, no matter how small. So he was forced to stop pulling the sound from the Ga-Matoran so he could continue lowering them and keeping them invisible at the same time, hoping that she would remain quiet while they descended. And he really hoped she could see more than he could right now. Things were fairly dark and he was suddenly very focused. OOC: @Harvali @Eyru @Unreliable Narrator
  3. Alright! Viltia has officially entered the golden light. Time for a new profile. PC Profile Name: Forgemaster Viltia NUVA Breed: Toa NUVA Faction: Refugees Brief Description: Deep Jungle Green armor with Violet Blue under armor. Golden Eyes. Slightly taller than average Toa height. It’s hard to tell under her mechanics, but her organic protodermis muscles are larger than they were. Physically stronger after the NUVA power-up. Background/Occupation: A Matoran on the Northern Continent for most of her life, her village was captured and enslaved by Skakdi under orders from the League. The Skakdi treated her and her fellow villagers with disdain, anger, and abuse. Often they would kill someone just to keep productivity up. They were being transferred to begin rebuilding Le-Metru when the giant robot broke apart and sent them all falling to an unknown island. For the past week, still enslaved, their Skakdi captors drug them through the fringes of the marshes, looking for a place to set up a new home. Native Skakdi showed up and sought to loot all they could, allowing a chance for Viltia and her friends to escape. Since then she became a Toa, learned how to use her element, learned how to use her mask, fought the Grand Untethered, got bitten by a special Untethered, befriended a Tahtorak, learned how to forge Kanoka, learned how to craft Kanohi, healed a Vuata Maca Tree, and forged a Great Disc. Flaws: Hates Skakdi and would even break the Toa code to kill them. This has been lessened in one way by merging with Nektann, yet also heightened by him. If she dislikes a Skakdi, she’ll hate them more, but if she likes them, she’ll put aside most of her hate since she now holds all life precious. Despite the battle of Le-Metru Nuva, she is not a trained hand to hand fighter and she wouldn’t last long against those experienced with battle. Additional NUVA Psychological Flaws: After being bitten by Untethered Wing, Viltia now cares for all of Life, Death, and the Stars, wishing to merge with them all. These feelings don’t compel her to act necessarily, but she now thinks through the filter of them. Viltia doesn’t really like thinking deep, philosophical thoughts, and tends to just accept or ignore thinking about such things. Breed Quirks: -Viltia is stronger with NUVA. -An innate understanding of plant attributes such as poison. Additional NUVA Breed Quirks -You may wear kanohi masks and use their powers. -You may use your base element with similar power and control as a toa. Pick one element to be your base element if you did not have a base element before the NUVA power-up. (the Green) -You may concentrate and fire a beam of energy with the same power type and strength as the Great Kanoka Disk used in your Nuva power-up at a target within your sight. (Teleportation) -If you wore a mask at the time of your NUVA power-up it melted and fused to your face. You may still use its abilities as a breed quirk. If it was an infected mask it is no longer infected. (Golden Mask of Teleportation, Flight, Levitation, Legendary Growth, Truth, and Time Duplication) -You may share your breed quirks with up to two other willing creatures within your line of sight and elemental range. -You may be the target of your own breed quirks. Your assigned Kaita ACR is the same element as the ruin where your Nuva transformation occurred. See your Kaita ACR’s profile for additional information. Equipment: Weapons: Lewa style Axe/Laser Crossbow combination Rahkshi Staff of Hunger, Stage 4. Equipment: Satchel with crude compass inside. A belt with pouches on the four cardinal directions. The pouches are somewhat rigid and are designed to hold masks, even when upside down, yet have enough give for Viltia to be able to take out and put in masks. Has created a GM approved Great Kanohi of Removes Poison: Removes any poison or toxin from a body or object. Can also purify any substance of its impurities. Or alternatively only purify to a certain level if the user chooses to do so. This doesn't affect mutations. When using the mask to remove impurities, the mask absorbs them into itself, eventually causing the mask to break and become unusable. Has created a GM approved "Lesser" Legendary Kanohi of Growth: The user may choose to grow proportionate to normal anatomy up to a total height of 120 feet. Physical power increases to that of a wearer of the great mask of Strength. Two faux-Exsidian canisters to hold enough EP for one Kraata creation each. 1 Vuata Maca Crystal. Taboos: Tethered Bonds Suva Affiliation: Air Suva. Currently has deposited: Great Mask of Growth Great Mask of Water Breathing Great Mask of X-Ray Vision Great Mask of Illusion Great Mask of Mind Control Great Mask of Night Vision Great Mask of Summoning Great Mask of Detection Great Mask of Accuracy Great Mask of Sonar Great Mask of Silence Great Mask of Repulsion Great Mask of Removes Poison Great Mask of Quick Travel Forge Suva: Air Suva --------- Also, I was going through the NUVA rules again, and I was surprised to see that while NUVA requires a PC, NUVA Proxima just needs a non-specified character (Character being defined in the rules as a PC, MC, or NPC). So, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just accidentally made a Muaka into NUVA Proxima. MC Profile Name: “Muaka” NUVA Proxima Breed: Muaka NUVA Proxima Faction: Refugees Role: Fighter Brief Description: A three quarters-sized Muaka with a slightly hunched back. Yellow markings. He is physically stronger after the NUVA Proxima power-up. Background/Occupation: Created from Viltia’s Life Kraata power. He follows her as a loyal companion. Flaw: Since he was created by Viltia through the Life Kraata, his whole being is forever bound to obey her every command, even at the detriment to his health or even resulting in his death. This flaw is no mere psychological effect. It is his entire state of being. Powers/Equipment: Snapping jaws, extending neck, sharp claws. Secondary Power: Two Golden Kanohi of Great Strength, Translation, Fate, Diminishment, Regeneration, and Stealth. Illuminated by Sorilax. Adaptation Stage 5. Secondary Element: Shadow. Adaption- Stage 1: Adjusts quickly to environmental extremes such as heat and cold. Stage 2: Adaptive abilities make it impossible to capture the same way twice. Stage 3: Has a limited ability to alter its own physical properties to fit new situations. Stage 4: Able to thrive in any environment, from treetop to seafloor. Stage 5: Capable of controlled physical transformation to adapt to the unexpected. Breed Quirks: Muaka are solitary nocturnal hunters. They are incredibly swift despite their large size, and very powerful. They hunt by sinking their sharp claws into their prey, forcing their victim to the ground, killing with their teeth, and then carrying their new meal to a nearby lair. Muaka have a muscular neck that can extend several bios to snatch up prey. They are also immune to stasis. As one of the strongest Rahi, Muaka are powerful enough to kill most other Rahi. On Mata Nui, the only known enemy of the Muaka was the Fusa. A Muaka will give up a hunt if it decides that its prey is not worth the effort. On Mata Nui, Muaka were the apex predator of Ko-Wahi, where they were most commonly found. When under the control of Teridax's infected masks, Muaka could also be found in the jungles of Le-Wahi. Additional NUVA Proxima Breed Quirks -You may wear kanohi masks and use their powers. -You may use your base element with similar power and control as a toa. Pick one element to be your base element if you did not have a base element before the NUVA power-up. (Sonics) -If you wore a mask at the time of your NUVA Proxima power-up it melted and fused to your face. You may still use its abilities as a breed quirk. If it was an infected mask it is no longer infected. (Two Powerless Haus) -You may share your breed quirks with up to two other willing creatures within your line of sight and elemental range. -You may be the target of your own breed quirks. Powers: Your current powers (Sonics) Additional NUVA Proxima powers: -Your elemental mastery is stronger than before, roughly halfway between an individual toa and an individual toa kaita (a toa kaita having the combined power of three toa). -You may share your element with up to two other willing creatures within your line of sight and elemental range.
  4. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Tower With - Mahrika Sorilax nodded affirmatively and spoke softly, “Careful, the spines can be sharp.” He turned around and crouched down, allowing the Matoran to get a good hold on him. Letting her do so was a major risk for his health should her Aspect possess her and seek his harm, but he trusted her at least. He carefully stood, making sure she maintained a good grip. He double checked that he was still draining her sound as well as his passive Silence, then he turned his focus to his elemental technique. To the Matoran, it would seem as nothing had happened, but to the rest of the world, the Rahkshi and the Matoran had disappeared without a trace, seemingly teleporting away or ceasing to exist. For Sorilax, having the Ga-Matoran on his back really did help him to more easily focus on his Light bending technique. He just had to worry about his overall form instead of trying to make a sphere around them both or maybe even cloak them separately. He was not sure if he could even do either things no matter how naturally the technique came to him. Thankfully he did not have to find out. “We are invisible, try to keep as close to my body as possible so I can more easily focus, please. Thank you.” He whispered to her. Sorilax stepped back around the building, Rahkshi armor easily holding up the Desecrated Matoran. In absolute Silence, the pair walked invisibly towards the two Vahki which were near the entrance to the tower. Sorilax carefully stepped, making sure not to slip on the random pools of water or kick a small piece of debris that might reveal that they were there. He continued forward, ensuring that he was giving the Vahki as wide a berth as he could as he moved. Would they make it past the pair of defenders? OOC: @Harvali @Eyru @Unreliable Narrator
  5. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Tower With - Mahrika Sorilax shook his head, “There is no need for distractions. Observe.” He held up his arm, slowly applying his Light bending technique. His arm appeared to bend and warp at insane angles before disappearing entirely, apparently cut off at the shoulder. “With my element of Light, I can effectively turn invisible. However, I have only ever practiced turning myself invisible. In order to ensure that we both remain undetected and within my Light bending technique, it would be best if you allow me to carry you.” Sorilax let his arm become visible once more, “That way we do not disturb the Vahki in any form, just in case they are sentient and also hostile.” He made sure to keep them in the shadows and talking quietly. 6. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Tower With - Mahrika Sorilax observed the Vahki guarding the entrance to the tower, growing more confused by the second. These were certainly not the near mindless automatons he had been told of. But they had no organics, no true life. He felt a sinking feeling that he was seeing more of the force behind Taboos at work, that these Vahki might have had the stars stripped from their original owners and applied to the machines, much like Aspects did with Desecration. If so, they gained his pity, and potentially also his fear. If they held strange powers, much like Kraata did… He wished he still had his Life Kraata power. Why did he think he did not need it? It would have made everything clear. An explosion went off, the sudden flare of Light more surprising than the explosion itself to his senses. Sorilax quickly turned to look at it, ready to react, only to realize they were in no immediate danger from the building down the street. Sorilax worked through his options, turning back to look at the Vahki. It all came down to his companion not being able to teleport with him. Everything hinged around that. Sorilax gently tugged on the hand he was holding of hers and led them farther back into the shadows as he continued to Absorb Light. At this point his elemental energy was full once more. He led them around a building, checked to make sure they were alone and hidden, and spoke to her, “I cannot think of a way past them other than carrying you and turning invisible. Can you think of any other way?” OOC: @Harvali IC: Forgemaster Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator Where the power of a Kanohi usually sat in her mind, now Viltia’s head had six separate powers waiting to be called upon. They were like six spheres in a semicircle around her, waiting to be grasped. One felt light and airy. One felt quick and floaty. One felt like the crackle of energy that built up before a storm released a bolt of lightning. One felt like it was constantly getting bigger even though it remained the same size. One felt solid, like a rock upon which all was discerned. And the last one felt like there was another one just like it that was always out of sight. Viltia squealed in delight, jumping for the gear that was scattered on the ground. In the back of her thoughts she wondered what other Golden and Silver Kanohi she might make, but in the forefront of her mind a new goal screamed to be accomplished: NUVA. She absolutely needed to know what dying was like. It called to her like the mournful song of a lone Razor Whale in the deep, cold sea at evening time. She had merged with life through Sorilax’s Life Kraata. She had connected to the stars through the Suva. Now it was finally time for a taste of death through NUVA. She gathered her things back into her sack, which was slightly lighter than before. It turns out she didn’t need as much as she thought. She hefted it up and merged into her Muaka. Her growling voice called out to the Administrator as she left, “See you in a second!” Without having to unmerge and swap masks, Viltia flew up into the sky. She stopped and hovered there. She looked southwest, noting that there was even less island to go to. She needed to hurry up, it seemed. She popped out of existence and traveled miles away nigh instantly. It was so easy to switch between Levitation and Flight. And it felt so much more natural than she had ever hoped. It was like she was a bird that had jumped off a cliff and found flying to be the most natural thing in the world. Viltia was so glad she had worked so hard on using her masks. The Grand Temple Ruins welcomed her with their Suva space electric shock as she rolled through the invisible divide on her Muaka tread. The small pond was there, still filled by the white orchids she had put there. One of her tethers idly dipped into the water, sending out small ripples that accentuated the petals and stems of the flowers. “Okay, I’m back! I told you I’d be quick.” She made her way to the NUVA pedestal and unmerged from her Muaka. Sidra had said she had dropped all her belongings when she fell in to get NUVA, so Viltia set all her gear on the ground and ordered her Muaka to defend it. Then, with shaky hands due to the anticipation for what was next, Viltia lifted the Great Disc of Teleportation from her satchel. As always, space seemed to warp around the edges of the disc, just like when the Suva interacted with things. She stepped in front of the Kanoka receiver, hesitating. Her Muaka moved close, sensing she was feeling weird. She gave him a sideways grin and then did something she rarely did. She whispered a prayer to Mata-Nui, the one who must have given her the wonderful gift that was her tethers, “Guide me as I travel the land of the dead. Help me to embrace their experiences and use them to empower me.” She wasn’t sure if it was even right to pray to him now that he was dead or an Aspect or whatever, but it seemed appropriate for what she was about to do. Viltia moved to put in the Great Disc and paused again, her mind screaming at her body. The sudden realization that she was going to die filled her being. She felt a little woozy and almost lost her balance. The Toa of the Green closed her optics and took several deep breaths, the calm she had first felt when she had gotten her tethers filling her as she focused on her core self. To merge with death was not the end. Far from it. She put the Great Disc of Teleportation into the NUVA receiver and opened her optics. She wanted to see this. She wanted to see everything that came next. OOC: @Eyru or @Unreliable Narrator
  7. IC: Forgemaster Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator The swamp was bursting with life. For all its corruption and mutations, life still flourished. It called out its territory. It flew above the trees. It grew along the ponds. It clung to bark. Life was everywhere you looked. And Viltia sensed it all. She breathed with the trees and they steadied her. She swayed in the breeze as if stuck to a tall branch, letting the gentle motion soothe her as she enjoyed the air currents. She took kinship in the thousand of insects she sensed as a kind of white noise with her Life Kraata. They were all her friends. In the subtle shifting shadows of the dark under canopy, Viltia saw a plethora of dark greens and browns as vivid as any seaside flower. The way giant, glowing mushrooms grew from the massive trees revealed a symbiotic relationship that could happen even in the deadliest of places. They dug their fingers deep into the bark and stole resources, yet much of their released, earthy smelling spore clouds fell to the swamp floor and became fertilizer for the very trees they stole from, allowing the trees to flourish. The patches of sunlight that wove their way through the hundred feet of canopy were the most spectacular. They looked solid with their intensity as they revealed the splendor of the many ponds scattered about. Lily pads looked like emeralds, croaking amphibians like complimenting jewels with their yellows, oranges, and reds. Miniature fish darted about the roots that poked through into the ponds, grabbing what food they could find growing in their small habitats. They became flashes of light in murky water as they reflected the sun. Viltia took her surroundings and the organic and happy feelings they gave her and funneled that into her new knowledge of the Suva. She needed to relearn how to forge, to repurpose what she had just spent so long learning. She sat cross legged on the wooden floor of the cool sandstone Air Suva Temple, optics closed as she breathed deeply the humid air. In her mind, she was using the slowly spinning Suva, and newly minted forge, before her. She worked without tools and crafted without moving her body. She used her knowledge of what happened during each process of making a Kanohi and focused on what happened to the ore, not what techniques she used to make the ore that way. The protodermic ore morphed and floated in the Suva’s forging space like a living mass of moss. Viltia focused on the look and texture of the ore, instantly bringing it to her specified level of purity. She did the same to a different piece of ore, then merging the two. They merged flawlessly, perfectly mixed as fast as she could think of it. Next she thought of the perfect shape of a Kanoka, the curves of the rim and the stenciled face. She couldn’t help but to smile as the Kanoka formed from a mere thought, being recognized and registered by the Suva. She made a few more discs, an end goal now in mind. Taking the Kanoka she had formed, she imagined then all morphed together, different powers intertwined to manifest something new. With a new breath came a new merged Kanoka, the action as simple as raising a finger. The next part was more difficult, however. Viltia tried to imagine a finished Kanohi, but the details kept slipping away from her mind as she thought of different individual parts. So instead she worked on the Kanoka as if it were before her, hot and malleable. She curved it out, introducing broad, refining strokes. She formed holes with perfectly rounded edges, made crisp lines as perfect as the ones on her Legendary Mask of Growth. Details formed as she got to thinking about them. The form was perfect, the surface sleek. It was complete. As soon as she considered the Kanohi finished, the Suva registered the new Mask of Fate before giving it to her. It appeared in her hands, just as she had imagined it. Viltia input it into the Suva once more, this time moving it into the space where the storage was instead of the forging space where she had worked on it. Viltia opened her optics and sat back. Whew, that took a lot of concentration. As happy as she was, she also grew slightly melancholy. She missed the heat of the forge. She missed the feeling of exhaustion after a long, hard day as she looked upon all she had made. She missed having a tool in her hands. Well, she supposed she could still do those things. But this saved her a lot of time. And if the world were really ending, she needed all the time she could get. She sat forward, excitement growing and sadness quickly forgotten as she got ready to do what she had been waiting so long for. She put on her Mask of Rahi Control and input her Masks of Flight, Growth, Time Duplication, and Quick Travel into the Suva’s forging space. Then she pulled from the Suva’s storage space the Mask of Levitation and the Mask of Truth. The six Kanohi sat in the forging space, each a perfect, shimmering silver in her mind. Focusing on the Mask of Levitation, whose form design she liked the most, Viltia drew imaginary lines of power to each other Kanohi in turn, marking what needed to merge. Then she pulled them together like winding a string around a bundle of reeds and pulling it tight. Their powers blended together in one glorious moment, gold shining in her mind like a bright shaft of light cutting through the dark. Then the singular remaining mask settled, powers merged yet separate; the gold dimming to a shimmer. The forge registered the mask and gave it to her. Viltia opened her optics and laughed in a pained kind of way. It was so beautiful it kind of hurt. It had all the elegance and grace of her Legendary Mask of Growth, yet all the more splendor as it glinted gold in the dim light. In the recesses on the forehead, her engraved pattern of water droplets striking leaves now rested, completing the look and marking it as her own design. Viltia took off her Mask of Rahi Control, took a deep breath, and donned her Golden Mask. OOC: We've done it, boys! Golden Mask acquired.
  8. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Heading East With - Mahrika Sorilax nodded in response to her first written message, glad that she did not push further and even seemed to understand. At her second message, he stroked where his chin would have been were he not in his Rahkshi. A Skakdi settlement by the bay? The Rig, perhaps? Well, maybe one of the lesser war bands. It was both good and bad news. On the one hand, the life destroyers were dealt a just reward for their deeds, but on the other hand, life had been lost. Well, it was a subject to explore at a later date. There were far more pressing matters at the moment. After no further messages from his companion, Sorilax led them back along the path they had chosen. They headed ever further east, stopping at every intersection to look and see that the black cables were still running parallel to their chosen path. At one point, the road they were on curved away. It took a little bit of maneuvering, but they managed to find a decent replacement road much the same distance from the cables. Sorilax continued draining both their sound, Absorbing the Light around them, and leading them from shadow to shadow, all the while listening intently and keeping his optics out for any other patrols, both on ground level and above in the buildings. 9. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Heading East With - Mahrika Sorilax’s soul churned at the questions. He so wanted to tell this Matoran everything he knew. Yet he could not. And not because of her, no. She seemed kind and caring. A perfect ally on this island. It was instead because of the one who had Desecrated her. He had no idea the true intent behind any of her questions. Were they to sate her own curiosity and to help this island? Or were they to help the agenda of an Aspect that threatened the world with their own Grand Wish? He could not ignore her, that was for certain. But he also could not answer her question fully. His adherence to his own idea of moral Light made dodging these situations very difficult. Lying would have been very helpful here. Sorilax pulled them into the shadow of a large box on the side of the street where they seemed to vanish with Sorilax’s Absorbing of Light. There was a large picture of a drink on the front of the box and tiny buttons on the side. He had seen something like it in the Far Shore, but the outcome from that machine had been far, far different. He paused in sadness at the events that unfolded in the hours afterwards. Then he came back to the here and now and looked around, making sure the Matoran, who had not even told him her name yet, and himself were out of audio receptor range of any who might be nearby and whispered to her, “NUVA is a boon of power. It grants the recipient powers beyond that of even a Toa, though less than a Kaita. They also get access to a giant machine to fight rite-born.” He paused, “I am sorry, but I refuse to offer more information. It is not that I do not trust you, but I cannot in good conscience offer critically important knowledge to an Aspect I do not know. I am sure you feel the same towards myself and so I have refrained from inquiring about your Aspect or your goals.” In fact, even telling her this about not trusting her Aspect revealed how much he actually did trust her. OOC: @Harvali
  10. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Heading East With - Mahrika Sorilax pulled them deeper into the shadows as the two Vahki patrolling along outside where they were in the alley passed by. When he was certain they were not seen, he looked back to the Ga-Matoran, who had been writing more upon the algae covered stone wall. Her hand slowly spelled out, “You may be right and they are trying to trick us. But, these Vahki were made without taboos. They were built, like assembling a telescopic lens. And if the ones carrying masks are actually alive, the ones who seem fearful; then are they why you were drawn to this place? Are they the key to you learning how to create life?” Hummm… An interesting thought. He did not have that special feeling about the Vahki that he seemed to get about his Grand Wish steps, but he could not just outright discount her idea. There very well could be something to them that he needed to find out. The very softly glowing hardlight tablet’s cut out words changed as Sorilax formed a new message, “If they are truly alive, then I would need to find what creates them, not just themselves. But I do not feel as if they themselves are the key. It is difficult to explain fully why I feel so, but thank you for the suggestion. Now, let us not keep Kas waiting.” Once he was certain she had read the message, Sorilax dismissed the hardlight tablet. It diffused into nothingness, quickly lost to the shadows they were in. Keeping his hand holding hers to remove her sound, Sorilax continued to absorb the Light around them as they moved back the way they had come down the alley. Continuing his method of staying in the shadows of the sunken city in the early morning sun, Sorilax took them a couple streets over. Far enough away that the patrols on the cables could not see them, but close enough that they could reliably check to make sure the cables were still there every time they came to a side street or alleyway while they moved in parallel with the cables. They continued along using this method as they headed east, Sorilax making sure not to drop his guard even though they were removed from direct line of sight from the cable patrols. His companion had mentioned a different type of Vahki that spewed electricity and he had yet to see one, which meant that they could be anywhere. Yes, it was best to remain as cautious as possible while still keeping up a good pace. Thankfully the Aqua Sphere was only so big, so they should hopefully find their destination without too much trouble. OOC: @Harvali @Eyru @Unreliable Narrator
  11. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Cables, Heading East With - Mahrika Sorilax scrutinized the Vahki along the cables. They certainly looked purely mechanical in both movement and rigid pattern. But the ones with masks… They were odd. Almost as if they were displaying emotions. But Sorilax knew there was much to pure electronics that he did not understand. Perhaps those mask Vahki were programmed to behave in such a way. He could not say for certain. But what he did know is that trying to directly follow the cables would be too risky. His companion and he would need to figure out a different way to follow them east. Sorilax felt a tug on the hand that was holding the Ga-Matoran’s. He turned to see her writing on the algae covered wall. She confirmed they were Vahki, which was good to know for certain. If they were attacked, he would be even more fine than usual with defending themselves. The Aspect moved his other arm as if he were pulling something out of a non-existent coat pocket. A straight sheet of very dim hardlight formed, like he had pulled out a sheet of paper. He handed the sheet to his companion. On it were holes as if it had been carved into. Written in Matoran lettering, it read: “Perhaps afraid on purpose to lure others in? Nevertheless, patrols are too tight and suggest hostility. We should move a couple streets over and follow the cables that way, checking for the cables at every alleyway and street we cross. Sound acceptable?” OOC: @Harvali
  12. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Tower, Knocked in Entrance With - Mahrika Sorilax stroked his non-existent Rahkshi chin, “Ah yes, changing my element was one of my Grand Wish steps. Normally us Aspects do exclusively wield shadow. Now, let us be off.” He grabbed her offered hand with his left and drained all sound from her. But that was not quite right. He wanted her to be able to speak. Sorilax focused on making her movements silent, but keeping her speech, much like with his own passive Silence. After a moment of figuring out how to do so, Sorilax nodded in satisfaction. Next, he turned to the Light, beginning to constantly Absorb a medium amount around them. The area around them dimmed like a lightbulb had gone out, with both of them now blending into the natural shadows. They now appeared more as shapes without any discernible features while they remained in natural cast shadows. Sorilax stepped from the doorway and out of the tower, careful in his pace to allow the Ga-Matoran to keep up. They walked along the shadow of the base of the tower until they reached a point where another building’s shadow intersected with theirs, then they crossed over into it. They continued this shadow hopping for a few minutes, with Sorilax leading them to the cables both of them had seen. The puddles they stepped through silently splashed and any various debris was silently kicked away. The morning sun helped them with its stretching of the shadows of this humid place. In the dark of a small alleyway that had several side service doorways, Sorilax and Mahrika observed the cables laid in the street before them. They were large and black, bundled together at even intervals. Sorilax scanned for any sign of the patrolling machines he had seen earlier. OOC: @Harvali @Eyru
  13. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Tower, Knocked in Entrance With - Mahrika Sorilax looked at the Matoran while she stood in the dark of the door jam, her dress slightly covered not just in sand, but a bit of ash. A large wasp lazily floated by, unconcerned with the strangers in its habitat as its buzzing drifted further away. A frog gave a warning croak to something that caused a splash in a puddle a few moments later. Sorilax noticed One’s Kraata was slightly feeling the humidity, though it was relatively comfy inside the Rahkshi armor. Or actually, he was comfy, since it was himself that was feeling it. The Kraata was essentially “asleep” right now. His companion shifted in her stance, drawing his attention once more. This Ga-Matoran, Sorilax knew her Aspect had to at least be on their fourth step, having completed their third, because he knew the powers of stage one and two Adaption Kraata and this Matoran had something more than that. He took a look at the object she produced from her back, “That is called a Kanoka. I know someone from the giant head that likes to make them. While I have not taken the time to study them, I am familiar enough to recognize that they hold odd powers. Though I think it would be far more useful to strike an enemy with your disc than to try to skate with it. If these machines are even hostile, that is.” Sorilax looked at the puddle she noticed and sounded like he was frowning, “Now, now. There is no need to dirty yourself. I have the power of Silence and I am able to Absorb Light. These two powers will have to be enough to keep us hidden. I at least am accustomed to staying to the shadows so as to not disturb the wildlife of the Fau Swamp. Several hundred years of such travel perhaps will prove useful here.” He motioned her to his side, “You may find it to be disorientating in my field of Silence, so focus on your other senses and keep a sharp lookout. Pull on my arm should you notice anything. I am going to focus on finding a path forward as we move from shadow to shadow.” Sorilax paused and considered his words, “Are you alright with this plan? As an alternative, if you do not mind holding hands, I could drain the sound from your movements and we would still be able to hear.” OOC: @Harvali
  14. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Tower, Top of the Stairs With - Mahrika Once the Matoran had joined him, Sorilax started down the stairs, still pondering how to keep them both safe on their search to the east. There were few Rahi up here above the main level, and even the plants seemed less dense as they descended. Puddles and pools of water were still evident, however. Their intensity never seemed to decrease in this sunken city. As they had been since his return from the Far Shore, his movements were completely Silent. His passive power was now never shut off. But without his active field of Silence up, he was able to hear and appreciate all the bird and amphibian calls that rang out through the halls, filling the tower with life. The Ga-Matoran, however, drummed her weapon with a steady beat as she followed him. They made it halfway down the tower before she decided to speak up. “I … I must admit, if it’s not clear, Ollem is not Desecrated. His people do not know your kind. He does not serve a rival of yours. And I do not think I serve a rival of yours either, if you spoke honestly.” Sorilax was not so sure about that, especially if her Aspect was forcing her to say it. But he did admit to himself that she sounded genuine and he wished to believe her. Still, he remained silent. She continued, ”But we do not know if we can trust Toa Kas. He can be quick to anger, when he realized he did not have his mask he fell into a rage, hurling fire. It subsided quickly, but…” Sorilax wondered if maybe they should not leave the other Matoran alone with the Toa, but with how his new companion kept walking down the stairs without hesitation, he doubted she wished to go back. He replied, “Anger does not necessarily relate to untrustworthiness, but I do agree that it causes one to pay close attention to a stranger and we should be ready for any eventuality.” The Ga-Matoran cleared her throat, “The Admin is not trustworthy either. In the end … we freed Kas from the Admin because Kas said he knew secrets of the Aqua Sphere. Which he certainly seems to. But I don’t know how much he says is true. And I am … the Admin is not alive, but I … I suppose I did not realize we were here to kill it until we were already too far into this quest to stop.” Sorilax wondered at this information. This Matoran seemed far more of moral Light than he had first thought she would be. Either this was a very clever ruse, or he had reason to befriend her. “Well, when the time comes, you should decide what you think to be the right thing to do and then do it. I shall stand behind you, so long as you do not murder another. And along the way, it seems there is much to decipher to figure out who each of us can trust.” She paused. ”Something else, the segmented walking machine that emits electricity with its feet, its head resembles another machine I saw. Something from Ollem’s world, a Vahki. They were machines used to enforce the laws inside the giant head that had since crashed to this world. We never ran into other survivors from Ollem’s world, but if some exist, they might be the ones who brought the machines and have been laying cables here.” Sorilax, in his newfound liking for the Matoran, spoke more than he would have otherwise to someone Desecrated to another Aspect, “I have heard the name, as I have met with others from the giant skull. But I know not their appearance, just that they are like you said, purely mechanical and non-sentient. I presume that they would make a good workforce and so I concur with your statement. It does seem likely that they are the ones laying the cables we have both seen.” They reached the ground floor of the tower and approached the doorway to outside that Kas had kicked in. Sorilax stuck his Rahkshi head out, scanning as fast as he could manage to check if they were alone. It seemed as if they were. He pulled his head back in and looked at the Ga-Matoran, “Have you any skill at sneaking? If not, with my element change to Light, I can cloak myself much like your friend does when he disappears. But I fear I might not be able to cloak both of us, seeing as I have only practiced for a few days and only on myself. Perhaps if I carried you, but that seems dangerous if we do get attacked, then we both would be hit. Do you have any suggestions?” Sorilax wished for a moment that he had use of a Kraata of Illusion or Chameleon, but that wish quickly passed as he realized he still might not be able to hide both of them at once. He supposed he could Desecrate the Ga-Matoran if she wished. There were plenty of Rahi around and she herself seemed very nice, despite him not knowing who her Desecrator was. But he would not bring the subject up himself, that might be taking advantage of her and he did not wish to do that. Not to mention a Chameleon Kraata was very situational and she might retroactively wish for a different one come some later date. OOC: @Harvali @Eyru
  15. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Tower, Top Penthouse With - Mahrika, Ollem, Kas Sorilax did not like this. He would have preferred to go with either of the other two so that he might educate them on Aspects while the Ga-Matoran was away. Still, perhaps this was better. If he was less inclined to talk, then he would accomplish their combined goals faster. “Very well. Live fully and protect each other. I hope to see you both again soon, our goals accomplished shortly after.” Sorilax nodded in farewell to both the Toa and the Matoran. He went to the doorway, which led back to the stairs, since he could no longer teleport with the Ga-Matoran at his side. He waited just outside the doorway for the Matoran to join him, pondering how they were to proceed. He might be able to warp Light around both of them, but he had not practiced on other than his own form, which came very naturally to him. So to try to bend Light in a different way might not work out or use up too much elemental energy. Perhaps it would be best to just put up his field of Silence around them both and keep a careful watch. OOC: @Harvali @Eyru IC: Forgemaster Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator Viltia fell to the wooden floor, head spinning with new knowledge. She was also filled with a longing to be more closely connected to the Suva again. For just a moment, she felt one with the stars. It had been beautiful. She so wished it had lasted forever. As she tried to collect herself from the insane experience she had just gone through, she couldn’t help but to mentally dive into the revealed functions and abilities, eager to learn all she could about what she was most passionate about. Only her Muaka nudging her snapped her back to reality. She realized she was on the floor and slowly picked herself back up with her tethers, looking with new appreciation upon the form of the orb that now gently spun as it floated in the center of the room. It was beautiful. A perfect forge, she saw that now. Grime must have thought her silly with her talk of protosteel. She moved to the bag she almost couldn’t carry, opening it to reveal Kanohi, Kanoka, and protodermis ores, along with a few forging tools and a couple canisters of pure EP. These, along with the Kanohi she already had in the Suva, were the perfect beginning step. She couldn’t stop beaming. This was amazing! OOC: @Eyru
  16. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator “Oh,” Viltia sounded kind of disappointed. Yeah she didn’t want to actually teach the Admin stuff, but now she wasn’t sure if she would be able to get what she had been striving for. The Administrator continued, "Well then, what are you waiting for? Place the codex within the Suva! Let us witness the first naming day this island has seen in a thousand years." Wait, inside? Viltia looked at the Suva and frowned. Wouldn’t that just mean anybody could take it? It looked so much like a physical key… Viltia shrugged and smiled. Whatever. She didn’t need to understand. She held it up in her hand, called upon her connection to the Air Suva, and deposited the codex into it. It vanished from her hand with a physical warping of space and the momentary sound of a deep, distant underwater noise. OOC: @Eyru
  17. IC: Sorilax Life Seeker - Aspect of Light and Silence Location - Aqua Sphere, Giant Tower, Top Penthouse With - Mahrika, Ollem, Kas Sorilax tried to wrap his mind around what Kas was saying. If he understood correctly, there was some specific electrical box out there that they needed to destroy to stop the bad AI. That sounded easy enough. But perhaps getting to that box might not be quite so easy in actuality. He moved out the doorway to the balcony to observe the cables winding through the lush and sunken city as it glistened in the early morning light. As he watched, he spotted a glint of metal in the sun, the owner of said glint not visible by the time he looked in their direction. The Aspect turned back to the others, stepping back inside the room from the balcony. “I noticed some of those odd machines patrolling along those cables as I traveled here. I know not if they are hostile, but it might be best if we endeavor to avoid crossing paths with them while we ascertain the cables’ destination.” OOC: @Eyru @Harvali IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator Viltia, from her spot in front of the stone Suva in the sandstone temple, glanced at the few rusty spoons hanging on the wall, momentarily distracted by them as she circled the Suva itself to further inspect its mural. Why they were hanging there she had no idea and had wondered that since she first came here. She tried to observe the Suva in the center of the room with fresh optics to figure out what she was missing. Overgrown plants covered its surface, culminating in strange sapling made its home on the very top of the Suva, the limbs contorting and bending in strange angles. If viewed from the doorway, it formed a circle with the half moon window on the opposite wall. For the Suva itself, along its base ran several small panels of distressed mural paintings. The panels showed images of Rahi in flight, some ridden by dark swirling clouds. In the next panel over the Rahi lay on the ground, defeated by a group of figures Viltia only could imagine as Toa. The next panel revealed six Rahkshi, with tall spinal crests and savage staffs in their hands standing atop the Toa from the prior panels. With the final panel, Viltia saw a large being made of three of the Toa standing triumphant and surrounded by a crown of stars. The chest of the large being seemed vacant, like something had once been there and was now wiped bare. But that was just on the base. Viltia used her element to have the plants on the Suva momentarily move aside, just in case they were hiding the hole into which she needed to insert her key. They key momentarily sputtered in her hand and she felt like she was getting close. She replied to the Administrator, “I guess somebody called it a codex, at least I’m pretty sure. Oh yeah they did! Because I remember wondering why they were talking about a book, but they weren’t. “But I have no idea what it’ll do when I put it into its keyhole. I sure hope it helps you and me both. Because if it doesn’t, then no, I didn’t find anything else, just this key… uh, codex. And this was already super hard to get, so I really hope it’s everything I needed to find.” OOC: @Eyru Descriptions of Air Suva taken from SKR GM posts.
  18. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka, Administrator “Whoa!” Viltia stepped back from searching for a place for her key on the Suva, “You scared me for a second. I didn’t know you could speak here. You never have before.” Her Muaka stood at attention and looked around for the source of the voice, easing up when Viltia responded to it. Viltia held up her key, “I don’t know if you can see it, but I got a key that is supposed to go somewhere on the Suva and unlock stuff. I don’t see where it’s supposed to go though. Yet, anyway.” Viltia got back to searching. OOC: @Eyru
  19. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Air Suva With - Life creation Muaka Viltia bounced around outside the small temple that housed the Air Suva. A giant frog croaked in the distance. Just by sound, she could tell it was mutated. The air was heavy with a non-debilitating cloud of giant mushroom spores. They danced in the few shafts of light that managed to break through the hundred feet of canopy to fall on the temple. She bounced again, Muaka body light with the use of her Density Kraata. It was just so much fun to be able to feel just a little bit weightless! She wondered if this was what Gravity Toa did when no one was watching. She continued to mess around, growing wood, increasing density to harden herself, then smashing into the boards and breaking them easily. Even the Shapeshifting Kraata was fun, though it didn’t serve her true purpose for it yet. She could stretch super far and even pretend to be a puddle by flattening herself onto the ground. It was so weird, but in a good way, like with merging. After she was done having her fun, Viltia poked her head into the Suva temple. No one else was inside. She stepped inside. It looked just like she had left it. Unlike last time, this time she used her power over the Green to repair the floor, shoring it up against the wear that had been opening up holes in the surface. She thought about it, then unmerged from her Muaka, patting him on the snout after she set down her bag of supplies. The supplies were for whatever happened when she inserted her key. Grime seemed to imply she could forge here. Or, well, more than that, even. Creation and worship, whatever that fully implied. Viltia pulled out her key from her satchel, turning it over in her hands as her tethers lifted her up and set her by the Suva. She inspected the engravings on the Suva, running a hand over the story they told of the Rahkshi, whom she now recognized. After a moment of appreciation for the artwork, she looked all over for a place to put her key. OOC: @Eyru or @Unreliable Narrator
  20. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Fau Swamp, Le-Metru Nuva With - Life creation Muaka Viltia’s tethers gently lowered her Muaka form onto one of the larger storage huts that she knew wasn’t being used yet. It had taken a few unmergings, swapping masks, and mergings to get her back home, but she had still been able to do it in a couple minutes. Far faster than the multiple days it would take to walk the same distance. She eased onto the platform below and walked into the double wide doorway. She would have gone to her own hut, but there was no way her Muaka would fit. So she entered the large empty hut instead and unmerged. It was pitch black except for her tethers, which softly glowed a cool silver. There was no place to sleep, so she grew some grass to lay on and watched as her Muaka did a couple circles before settling in. Then she leaned against it and fell asleep to the sound of it breathing. --------- In the morning, Viltia was awakened by someone calling her name. She slowly came to, blinking her optics and trying to adjust to the dim haze of morning in the under canopy. It was Wing in front of her. Viltia sat up, patted her Muaka who was still asleep, and stood, stretching. Wing folded her arms and nodded to the Muaka, “Life Kraata?” Viltia nodded emphatically, “Oh yeah. This thing is so great. Does that mean Sorilax came through here?” Wing turned and pointed a thumb to the four colorful Kraata attached near the base of her neck. Viltia’s optics went wide, “No way! Four?! Sorilax must have figured that out after I met with him. I know just the two more that I want. Where is he?” Wing put her hands on her hips, “Aqua Sphere, but you know you can just ask him yourself, right?” Viltia nodded and shrugged, “Yeah, I know, but I don’t want to bother him.” Wing rolled her optics, “Well I don’t mind. One second.” Viltia gasped, “No! I don’t wan-” Wing held up a finger to shush the Toa of the Green. She nodded to herself and seemed to be looking at nothing. Then she motioned Viltia to follow her. Viltia did so with the Muaka, which had awakened to Viltia’s exclamations, following along behind. As they walked, Wing explained about Sorilax’s new Taboos and his version Rahkshi. Viltia retained… some of the knowledge. Eventually they reached one of the penned in Colony Drones. Wing laid a hand upon it, using her own Life Kraata to create a half sized duplicate. The new manifestation of Life just suddenly appeared with no pomp. Viltia tensed up as she suddenly felt a Rahkshi nearby, but she relaxed as she felt an Aspect right on top of it. With a rigid stiffness that befitted only Sorilax, the Rahkshi stood as tall as it could as it joined them. Sorilax’s voice emitted from it, “Greetings, Viltia. It is good to see you well. But I must be as quick as I can manage. I have others waiting on me. Wing tells me that you wish to be Desecrated twice more?” Viltia nodded, “I want to be able to make myself lighter, and I want to be able to change my shape.” Sorilax nodded in turn, selecting which Kraata would best suit Viltia’s desires. With Wing’s Life Kraata creations and Sorilax’s Desecration Taboo, Viltia soon found herself with two new Kraata joining the first two: Density Control and Shapeshifting. Viltia remembered the night before, “Oh! Hey, Caedast says hi and Icarax says the world is ending and we need to go to the temple at Kini-Nui.” Sorilax mulled over the information. When he finally spoke, he sounded like he was frowning, though the unmoving faceplace of his Rahkshi changed not, “You certainly get around. Be cautious, Viltia. Other Aspects cannot help but to be deceitful and selfish in their own ways. Even those I would trust to be themselves, like Apex and Caedast the All-Seeker, still are held to their fundamental nature and cannot change unless it is in their Grand Wish to do so. Their thinking is warped without them even realizing it. I know I sure could not fathom the depths of my heritage until I had broken free of it. I doubt they, who do not seek to truly change themselves, could hope to ever be free of it or realize the true grip it has on them. But that is in part of why I am on my quest, to fix the unfairness of the current reality. Or possibly learn the reason why. Only time will tell.” Before he left, Sorilax added, “Now regarding your new powers, Shapeshifting is not quite what it could be. You will need patience as I continue to seek to accomplish the steps of my Grand Wish so that your Kraata in turn grow stronger. But I must go. May you both live safely and fully until we meet next.” The Rahkshi grew limp and slumped to the grassy ground of the pen in the trees. Viltia tried talking quickly before he could go, “HeydidyouwanttolearnmyTaboo?” But was too late. Sorilax had already left. Wing raised a hand and a gentle air current swirled around the Rahkshi. Somehow, it seemed to grow lighter. Then, with a smell like a spring breeze, it floated. Viltia gasped and turned to Wing, “How are you doing that?” Wing touched her Illuminated mask, “Secondary Element of Gravity.” “Oh,” Viltia frowned. She wanted a secondary element too, but she liked switching masks too much. Maybe after she got Golden masks and no long had to swap out. She bid Wing farewell and went and gathered some supplies, saying hello to her friends in the process and checking in on the Vuata Maca tree. She borrowed a large sack that someone had just woven and put as much in as she could manage, having to leave out a few supplies to allow herself to actually lift it. Then, when she was ready to go, she lifted the bag of Kanohi, Kanoka, and a few other odds and ends a couple inches off the ground and merged into her Muaka. Herself and her equipment entered into her pocket dimension without a problem. With a joyous shout which was a little bit of a roar, Viltia teleported off in the direction of the Air Suva.
  21. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Kumu Peninsula With - Whisper, Korruhn, Stannis&Caedast, Grime, Miserix, Life creation Muaka Yeah, she already knew about the whole helping thing. But that didn’t really matter, since she had already wanted to help out Sorilax beforehand anyway. Now it was easier to help, since Sorilax had given her the Kraata she wanted to help her forge better and also a Kraata to survive easier in the swamp. Stannis actually sounded a lot like Sorilax with the whole knowledge thing. And the unraveling thing made sense with how the island was disappearing and what Icarax had just told them. Before she could respond, though, Stannis seemed to fall asleep. Was that even possible? Well, it must be, since he was asleep. Then Korruhn finally spoke up, grabbing his cloak and setting things in motion, the fire appropriately dying down. Just the embers remained, a golden orange glow. Viltia sure hoped he meant more murderous and evil blood when he mentioned spilling blood, but with that Aspect in him and how cold he seemed, she couldn’t be sure. But it didn’t seem like that would be her problem. She went over the groups in her head, counting on her fingers. So, Korruhn and Grime were going with Stannis. And Whisper and her Kraata wanted to be left alone with Stannis too. Viltia smiled. That meant she got to go do what she wanted. She yawned. Okay, maybe after a good night’s rest. “Sounds good to me. I’ll see you guys at Kini-Nui.” Viltia cringed. Oops. She shouldn’t have spoken so loud with Stannis sleeping. Well, he still seemed asleep, so that was good. Viltia swapped out her mask for her Mask of Flight, merged into her Muaka, and flew off into the mists. She was quickly lost from sight as the dark swallowed her whole. 22. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Kumu Peninsula With - Whisper, Korruhn, Stannis&Caedast, Grime, Miserix, Life creation Muaka Viltia squinted her optics while staring off into the dark and scratched at her mask with a single finger. After a moment, she responded, “You know, that does sound familiar. That’s probably one of those things where Sorilax talks way too much about something to the village and I kind of zone out because I don’t understand it.” Viltia shrugged, hands out, “But hey, even if I have that thing with him, he’s probably busy with something important, so I’m not going to interrupt him. Plus it's super late and all that.” Viltia paused, then added, “Even though I know he doesn’t sleep. It still seems kinda rude. I’ll just mention that name when I see him again.” She glanced at Korruhn, still waiting for his reply to her earlier question. OOC: @EmperorWhenua @Crimson Jester @Gecko Greavesy @Unreliable Narrator
  23. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Kumu Peninsula With - Whisper, Korruhn, Stannis&Caedast, Grime, Miserix, Life creation Muaka Viltia turned to the old Aspect, “Achieve? To protect my village, definitely. And then after that, I guess getting better at stuff like forging Kanoka and Kanohi, using my element, and using my masks. Hey, maybe I’ll even check out that Far Shore place. “For Sorilax,” she shrugged, “I don’t know. He hasn’t ever asked me for any help. Not anyone in the village, actually. Not even Sala, who volunteered to help him. But sure, I’ll bring that name up when I see him again.” OOC: @EmperorWhenua @Crimson Jester @Unreliable Narrator @Gecko Greavesy
  24. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Kumu Peninsula With - Whisper, Korruhn, Stannis, Caedast, Grime, Miserix, Life creation Muaka Viltia turned to the Toa with an Aspect inside, whose arm somehow had an optic on it, “What do you think, Korruhn? Would you like me to stick around as we journey to Kini-Nui? I know the dangers of the Fau Swamp and I could help us avoid them. But if you don’t want me along, we can always meet up later. Either way works for me.” OOC: @Crimson Jester and @Unreliable Narrator @Gecko Greavesy @EmperorWhenua
  25. IC: Viltia - Toa of the Green Location - Kumu Peninsula With - Whisper, Korruhn, Stannis, Caedast, Grime, Miserix, Life creation Muaka Viltia frowned. Grime was still avoiding answering her question. But she guessed he had answered it sort of? Basically she needed to go to a Suva and just put in her key to see what she got access to be able to build. It seemed she was going to have access to more than even Golden and Silver Masks, which was great. And maybe she would learn whatever the whole “worship” thing was about. But with the way Grime avoided the subject, she kind of doubted it. After Whisper answered Grime, Viltia did as well. “Well it’s pretty late and we should probably sleep. But this all seems like important stuff and I guess we don’t need sleep every night. Oh, and I know Aspects don’t sleep. So maybe we should head out right now?” Viltia looked around the assembled group, “If you or Korruhn need help, I’ll stick with you guys. Otherwise I can quickly teleport to a Suva and put in my key. Then after I’m done with all that temple stuff, I’ll see what’s up with Kini-Nui. Hopefully meeting you guys there so we can save the world. Or whatever it is that we’ll actually be doing.” OOC: @Unreliable Narrator @Crimson Jester @EmperorWhenua @Gecko Greavesy
