  1. I dunno. I mean, a while ago, I would have said Onua, easily, but now that I sit back and think on it in an unbiased manner... I do like Onua still, it's true, but I'm not sure he's my overall favourite anymore; I think I was biased previously because he was my first set ever. Recently, I've stated to like Gali a lot, possibly the most. I feel she's sadly underrated, to be honest; always doing her best to keep the other Toa together, never with much true success. Though Kopaka is pretty cool (no pun intended) too; and I've always had a soft spot for Pohatu as he appeared in the early comics and Tales of the Masks - though I didn't like him so much in the post-Metru-Nui novels, he just never quite seemed the same to me in them. Maybe that's just the nostalgia speaking, though. As for choosing a favourite; after some thought I'd say it's actually about equal between Gali and Kopaka, really - though my vote goes to Gali because she seems the more unappreciated of the two. Then, for the sake of having a full order, Pohatu and Onua share joint third place, I think; then Lewa, with Tahu being my personal least favourite.
  2. I used to imagine them in movie style, but recently... well, this may sound odd, but recently I reread the books, and I found myself much more prone to imagining them them as humans, only with a bion-mechanical twist to their appearance; just enough so that they resemble their set versions. I think it just makes it easier for me to empathise with the characters, to think of them as humans rather than part-robot sort of beings that the sets always appeared to be ^^"
  3. Well, look at that, I vanished again. My Disney-based roleplaying sites keeping me busy, mostly. I'll sort of... be wavering between being here and not, I guess?

But I may or may not be changing my user name... this one got old, frankly. Though I have no idea what to change it to.

Vanishing from BZP numerous times? It happens, even to the best of us. Good to see you return, though.

  4. I am feeling so very nostalgia'd right now. Seriously, great work with this; I wouldn't quite say flawless, but it comes very close. I'm especially impressed with how accurate all the matoran were to their classic MNOLG personalities, and I eagerly await seeing more. A couple of continuity issues that struck me, though, if I may? For one, Jaller's name; shouldn't he still be Jala at this point? I didn't think it was changed until after the Bohrok-Kal's defeat. And the other is the pack of Muaka; I seem to remember Norik stating that they were loners by nature? Still, these are very minor issues; just me being pedantic, mostly XD;; Don't feel like you need to change anything on my account ^^
  5. I couldn't say. I though I'd left for good just over a year ago... but here I am again, so I evidently hadn't. As such, my future on BZ is unpredictable/So... yeah, I'll probably just be here for as long as I can't find anywhere more interesting online to spend my time instead
  6. I can't believe I never read this before. This comedy is wonderful! In fact it's so good, I'm a bit at a loss for anything else to say about it right now XD I love the entire concept of this one ^^...seems I broke the rules of Ask Comedies numerous times in the past, though... Especially the script one XP
  7. Whenever I feel like it. On average, it probably works out at about two posts per day, although that number is prone to varying depending on my mood.
  8. I feel I ought to clarify, when I said BH had a less enjoyable gameplay, I meant that due to the fact that every level (excluding the Piraka boss battles) seemed virtually the same thing in different locations; get all the Toa's masks to use their abilities, destroy everything in your path, get gold and shiny in order to move gold and shiny objects, and blow up a big bad enemy. Practically all there was too it. With BtG, at least, every level was unique in its own way, which, in my oppinion, made its gameplay much more interesting - hence why I prefered it.
  9. I agree with that guy. Would also like to have Kaukaus in a variety of diferent trans-colours, too.
  10. I've had that problem. And I can't even find anywhere to buy suitably-sized replacements - the bands on Muaka and Kane-Ra, for one, were incredibly small, and I have yet to see anywhere that sells them that small.
  11. Can't say I'm surprised - it was a pretty dull game, all things considered. Guess that's what happens when you create a game aimed at a target audience that just isn't going to be interested in that sort of thing anyway.
  12. Type: BannerSize: 600x200Foreground: http://biosector01.c...toran_Macku.PNG (flipped, on the right) and http://biosector01.c...oran_Hewkii.PNG (on the left)Backround: http://www.brickshel...kuholdhands.pngText: Along the top: "I support Hewkii x Macku as a couple..." and along the bottom: "...and I don't care that their romance is no longer canon"Maybe in some sort of 'natural'-looking font, if possible? As for colour, I don't really mind. Whatever works best.Special Notes: Would like the MoL pics of them to be cut out from their own backgrounds, and be slightly transparent too. Thanks a lot ^^
  13. Been looking forward to this ^^ I've just played it through now - although I'm sure throwing pumpkins at Death from beneath the invisibility cloak as one of the Peverell brothers was amongst the strangest things I've ever done in one of these Lego games XD
  14. Too much good stuff to even try quoting, but this comedy is indeed awesome. Especially love the Takanuva/Kopaka dynamic going on here, as always, and Krekka's pretty funny in here, too.
  15. Blame nostalgia, but I'm with the older themes all the way. For one thing, at least, the characters always felt much more developed (see Adventurers, AT or RR) - whereas nowadays they've seem lucky to get a name and/or personality slapped onto them at all.
  16. 2008 lime, of course, has always been a problem for me, as, I've found, has been '09 black. I found a fair few cracked ones of them - although not as horribly mangled as the lime ones - as I was disassembling my '09 sets to sell on eBay ^^"
  17. Not counting duplicates, I used to have something like 174 sets - that is nearly every set, McToran, playsets and Exo-Toa excluded, from '01 though '07 - a large percentage of '08, and barely any from after that. Now that I've sold a good percentage of my collection on ebay, however, I currently only have about 75 in total.
  18. Ah... correction: http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Kivi Back on topic, it's almost certainly either a Huna or a Ruru, because as outher have said, you can make out the hole in the top of the mask fairly easily. Can't make out any more detail than that, though.
  19. My interest in both was waning before the downtime even began - hence why I left a while before the forums even went down. If anything, the downtime revived my interest in Bionicle some - at least insofar as the nostalgia value is concerned.
  20. I don't much mind either way. I am somewhat fond of the new layout, although the lack of any interesting skin is just enough to get on my nerves a little... So yeah, don't really care which over here.
  21. Carlos D'Anda, all the way. His work practically MADE the first two years of Bionicle for me at the time (...I didn't figure MNOLG out until '03 XD)
  22. Probably LoMN, although all three of the first movies are equally nostalgic for me. MoL was pretty cheesy, all things considered (well, they all were, in hindsight, but MoL most of all), and WoS... well, it had its epic moments, but I dunno, it's just never seemed quite as good as its predecessor.
  23. I voted 'meh'. I didn't have much of an opinion on him either way. If he's retained his classic colour scheme, I almost certainly would have given him a better vote, but as he stands... certainly didn't hate him, but I didn't think he was anything special, either.
  24. As a name in and of itself, I think 'Makuta' sounds better, but in relation to the character, Teridax seems much more appropriate for him, so I null-voted.
  25. Eh, nostalgia almost made me pick the Mata, although while I do like them a lot, I think the Hagah are almost certainly my overall favourites.
