  2. Yes: in order to be eligible for voting for these specific contests, your entry needs to get to Brickfair Virginia somehow. Whether that's by sending it to Black Six, giving it to someone else who's attending, or by bringing it yourself is up to you. Entries not at Brickfair by the time specified will not be eligible for voting.
  3. Official BBC Contest #80: Death and Rebirth! The Brickfair contest has returned! For years, we've held a BBC contest during the summer where the entries are put on display at Brickfair Virginia, and voting takes place both on BZP and in-person at the convention. We've held off for the last two years, but we're back! We take cues from each Brickfair's theme for the contest theme. This year, it's construction. Very appropriate, nice choice. We're not playing it straight. This time, your mission is to build something in a state of deconstruction or decay. Show me something that's seen better days. Embrace that extant form of life. And once you've built your entry? Get It to Brickfair! Whether you're sending it in, letting it hitch a ride with a friend, or bringing it yourself, you have from now until Friday, August 5th at 10 A.M. Eastern to get it to Brickfair for voting. That's right: you've got over twice the time as usual to build and enter. For bonus points, register your entry on our convention circuit! By points, I mean things like free sets. That's basically a prize just for showing up. You'll need to do that separately, but you'll find all the information you need in this topic. But why wait? Let's get busy dying! ------------------------- You have from now until Friday, August 5th at 10:00 A.M. Eastern to submit your entries. Submit your entry by Friday, July 29 to have a custom MOC card made for your entry! To submit your entries, just use this handy form. Only one entry per person, please. ------------------------- Voting: Final Voting begins August 6th and ends August 7th at 11:59 P.M. Eastern. 13. Official BBC Contest #79: >enter building contest! Have you heard about... video games? They're pretty neat! You can be all kinds of things, doing all kinds of things. Want to be an elf who eats dragon souls? Sure. Race powerful cars in beautiful locales? Not a problem. Tap a ton of square buttons in time to the music? I wish you the very best of luck. Even Bionicle has gotten in on that gaming action. You can't talk about the theme's success without mentioning the Mata Nui Online Game. We've seen various games come to the hot consoles of their day. Fans even take matters into their own hands and make Bionicle mods for other games, or make whole new games outright. But what about the reverse? For this contest, you'll need to build something from a video game. A character, an item, a place... it's up to you. Happy building, gamers! ------------------------- You have from now until Thursday, March 31st at 11:59 P.M. Eastern to submit your entries. To submit your entries, just use this handy form. 20. Official BBC Contest #78:The Good 20-20! Twenty years! That's a lot of years. It's a solid chunk of a human lifespan, it's a long time to go without [RELEVANT_SPORTS_CHAMPIONSHIP], and it's a terrible vintage for milk. Twenty years can be a lot of things, and this month, it's two specific milestones: 1) Bionicle's release in North America 2) The launch of what would become BZPower A lot of things can happen in twenty years of sets, story, and community. At least one of those things has made a cozy little home in your heart. For this double anniversary contest, your theme is to build something based on your favourite moment in either Bionicle or BZPower history. Something in the story made your jaw drop? Good times in the BZRPG? Got a particular affection for a particular set? Here's your chance to celebrate it. I know time doesn't mean much anymore, but twenty genuine years have gone by. Whether you've been around since that summer of 2001 or just dropped in last month, you're part of a storied, creative fandom. Embrace it, and share what you love!
