  1. Skyrim is an amazing world wrapped in sub-par gameplay that will tire you out... after 90 hours or so.

    Work Next Week

Oh man, it's like everyone else that has a real job, except we actually use cars to get there instead of hour and a half bus rides.

    CIVILIZATION V

But it's not really a truncated game, I mean think about it, people paid 50 (60?) for this game when it came out without the additonal DLC included in this pack and without the gods and kings expansion. Just because it's lacking an expansion that's only a handful of weeks old doesn't make it truncated. I understand having a lack of funds, but 12.50 for this game is a steal and probably the cheapest you'll see it in a long time.

    CIVILIZATION V

Thank god I decided to look at the blogs cause I've been waiting for this go flash sale and would have been mad if I missed it. I don't want to buy gods and kings yet though, here's holding out that one goes as a daily deal at some point. It's only 12.50 for the GOTY edition of Civ V...
  5. It has more to do with the fact that Paint is just a low quality art program useful for primarily pixel art only. There are other free software, such as Gimp or Paint.NET that are far more capable than Paint. I don't think there is a instinctive hatred of everything made in Paint so much as it just isn't all that useful of a tool and generally the quality of things produced in it is lower than other programs. Pixel art, which is different than copying and pasting pieces from a kit which is what I think you're confusing for pixel art, is actually a very interesting form of art. It's the idea of emulating the style and feel of the 8 bit and 16 bit era of video games. It is something that takes a lot of skill to pull off and is admirable.
  6. I wish IE's update schedule was faster, if they supported CSS3 transitions it'd make my job so much easier

pffff, I stopped coding for IE a while ago. Too much work when it was so much easier and less time-consuming to code for compatibility in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera instead. IE10'll have it all anyways and I'm willing to wait. :P

Uggh, if I only had the ability to wait, sadly when I wrote this I was working on project for a corporation that likely only uses IE.

I can't imagine people actually USING IE.

  7. Hey Micheal, Happy Birthday! You're a wonderful guy, enjoy celebrating 25 years of a fine life.
  8. When you have an actual story to post, then you may repost your topic, until then, this serves no purpose.Topic closed.
  9. While the sentiment is appreciated, Ballom is right on point. We would rather not have our inboxes filled with messages. Perhaps encourage members to create works of art, mocs, blog posts, or even changing their sigs would be a better focus. On that note, this video really isn't really anything meriting it's own topic, neither does wholesale staff appreciation. While we always value that appreciation, we don't need a full topic dedicated to people telling us over and over again that they appreciate us. Besides, we have to keep our rampant egos in check somehow. ;)Anyway, topic closed.
  10. Do I have to go back to work tomorrow? Hopefully they have something for me to actually do.

  12. Thanks for the rundown.Anyway, not much else to discuss here. Guess we'll close this down.

WE don't have any plans for a skinning contest right now.

If it's not a skinning contest, I have a guess as to what it might be, but I'm uncertain. I'm pretty sure that I know roughly when it's going to be unveiled, though....

Remember this: I work as a web developer, so if I'm talking web development it doesn't mean it's related to bzp.

  19. Use the talkback topic available in the news post to celebrate Independence Day.
  20. I had no idea people posted on my profile at all since report notifications get lumped in with all the other notifications and I normally just mark all as read when I see 50 notifications

Personally, I´ve disabled report notifications. No need to be notified of them when you see if there are any active reports all the time anyway.

  21. WORD.It was the most fun, and it had member involvement through voting on who they wanted kicked off each week. It was great!Remember the point in the story when we all got naked and romped around?Remember when I totally went global and owned everyone's sigs? ;)Remember HOW HARD i tried to convince Jen to let me bring potatoes to the island?Oh man and the challenges, oh man...Fleas 4 life.
