Is Bionicle: Next Generation Still Around?
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Azani's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Don't do this, Jam Pot. It won't end well. Anyhow, I've already spoken to the topic starter in regards to my opinions of a restart, but I'll repeat them here - I think if the leadership aspect is handled properly, then a BNG restart would more than likely be pretty great. It all depends on handling, but I'd be interested in seeing it.- 58 replies

That'll work just fine! In which case, we can work out the total price + shipping, and I'll need an external way of sending you a shipping address other than BZP. Once again, thanks!

I'd like to purchase Roodaka, Keetongu, and Sidorak. I'll ask the same question as TLH, which would be what condition are they in? If there are any parts missing, what would they be so I can replace 'em? Thanks!

Faber's Hero Girls
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
What's wrong with it? What would you prefer to see? Maybe the aforementioned blog entry he made about his debut as an Art Director for Lego that was just the entry before this one? -
Honestly, it's outdated and its creators have moved on to dumber things. Not to mention, a lot of the links no longer work thanks to the destruction of the archives. It's an okay reference, but in it's current state, I doubt it does much. Unless it got some activity, some updates, and new links, it may be better just to unpin it. =/

Faber's Hero Girls
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
This is what BZPower spends its time putting a news article up about? You can't even say it's a slow news day, either, cause right below that blog entry is one about his Art Director debut on a Lego project. I don't know if there is just a delay on when news gets put up, but this seems to be some bottom of the barrel stuff when it doesn't even have to be. -
Biggest Names in the Bionicle Fandom
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Black Six's topic in General Discussion
I think the questions are rather similar, or at least very relevant to each other. Below is a quote from Black Six's original post. He does ask for "the most dedicated fans," though there are other traits to take into consideration as well. Dedicated because they did something which caused them to be seen as dedicated and seen throughout the community, yeah. However, I've scrolled through this topic, and it seems that everyone is just giving other BZP members a grand 'ol pat on the back for... Doing things the BZP community widely knows of. I've never heard of a good majority of the people mentioned in this topic outside of BZPower. Bonesiii, sure. Black Six and DV? Absolutely. Rayg, Dark709? Definitely. Any other staff member sans SPIRIT?... Nope. BZPower used to be the bees knees. Granted, I may not be out in the community enough, so maybe they are talked about and I'm just oblivious to it. I can think of a few other big names, such as Vrahno, who is quite well known. Maphrox is also out there, I know. They're both really great animators. -

Biggest Names in the Bionicle Fandom
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Black Six's topic in General Discussion
This went from "The Biggest Name in the Fandom" to "who is best fan" quicker than I expected. Anyhow, aside from the obligatory TTV guiz (aside from myself) that I do see mentioned, I have seen DV mentioned around ( ), Black Six as well, and SPIRIT. I'm aware a guy on Youtube name iBionicle is fairly well known, however he is inactive. Kelly, of course, is also a big name, although people don't know his history as well. I also known VBBN is well known and recognized by Lego, and he's active. All in all, I don't see a whole lot of BZP people mentioned. -
I'm holding out hope. He nailed the voice during one part of the end of the trailer, so I can hold out hope.... (why'd it have to be Kirito?!)

Biggest Bionicle Dissapointment
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Fry's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
I completely disagree. I knew before hand what the scene would be. I went into the movie expecting to hate that scene, and came out of it loving not only the whole movie but that scene as well. They handled it very well, especally considering the twist. I feel that if they did it any other way, it'd be shoe-horned and I'd be unhappy. They said they didn't need to mention it because it would have taken waaaay too long, and wouldn't have fit within the context of the film. I went in to see The Lego Movie, not The Lego Movie plus 5 or so minutes slowed down to explain Bionicle to the character who wasn't listening to begin with. As far as person disappointments go, I don't have many. Some of mine would however include the final fight between Tuma and Mata Nui in TLR, TLR's over all feel, the fact that they declined an offer from Nathan Furst to make the music for TLR, and the Rahaga sets. I have many nitpicks, but that's a given. -
Not sure I agree fully with putting it online. I understand that its creators are long gone, and Lego no longer makes a profit, but it could result in a similar situation to the Legends of Mata Nui game, and why no one has put that online yet. It's still under someones license, and it could still result in legal trouble. I would personally be against it, but I doubt I'd campaign against it. I don't care either way, I have the game on it's original playing device.

Well, this was unexpected. Awesome, none the less. Congrats to the other two!

I didn't want to have to do this, but I must. BZPower members, young and old alike, join with me and sign my petition to get the staff to correct their error and call the double-decker Couch what it must be called. They have wronged the Lego community by referring to it as a double-decker Sofa. We must get this fixed, for this is the first step toward correcting the wrongs of BZP's past. Anyhow, this set looks amazing. I've known about its existence for a while, but it is still impressive seeing it here with these pictures. I find it funny how they actually put a crack in Benny's helmet. =P

Introducing the Rep System
Eljay: Toa of Mangosteen replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I can see this as a great commercial: "Introducing the Popularity Contest System! Also known as the Comics Forum 2.0." Yeeaaah... I would have taken Hot Topics over this, sorry. -
Blargh, I think I'll go for it! Sign me up. Unfortunately, it's times like these I should remember my comp can't run it. XD Yeah, sadly can't make it. Good luck to the winner!
