  1. IC: Sans, Dume's Office Dume was talking about time travel as Sans led his party out of the crowded office. Maybe his companions would've preferred to stay and listen, but Sans had heard enough. Whatever Turaga Dume was talking about, Sans knew he could play no part in that scheme. As he shuffled past Waveahk- who was still kind of awkwardly sweating in place outside the office- a black and crimson Vortixx hurried past Sans and into the office. He contemplated the merits of extending his foot to trip her, but decided that, although hilarious, another stranger falling into the office wouldn't go over well, given the circumstances. Sans led Taja, Korruhn, and Leklo to the elevator, and they descended. After reaching the main floor, Sans asked a Vahki where to go to find the airships, which the Vahki took upon itself to lead them to. So the four heroes followed one armored Vahki to the Colosseum's main hangar bay. IC: Sans, Colosseum Hangar Bay The Vahki showed Sans and Co. the Hangar Bay, then walked back down the hall. He walked forward, staff in hand, as he explained his plan to the others. "We'll have one of the Vahki pilots fly us over Ko-Metru. If I remember correctly, the League is invading with massive armies, yet only foot soldiers, maybe some cavalry. They might shoot at us, sure, but the airship should make it over the frozen sector no problem. When we get a decent way into their midst, we'll all drop in, huhuhuhu. I'll grow to what I call 'battle-size' in air and, hopefully, cushion the landing with my elemental powers. After I grow big, I'll scoop you all up in my arms, if you'd like. There may be parachutes int he airships though, I don't know. Either way, we're gonna drop in hot. On the flight over, we can talk more tactics. I'm sure you're all nervous that such a serious assignment is going to be your first test as Toa, but I have faith in you, and Turaga Dume does too. We don't get to choose our struggles in life; we only get to choose how we rise to the occasion." Sans entered the airship, then turned to his three Toa brothers. Was he using his mask powers to enlarge his chest, or just puffing it out? "The time is now. We will be surrounded by warriors who want nothing more than to mount our heads on spikes. It's going to be tough, but if we stick together, Mata-Nui I know there's nothing that can stop us. Pridak dies today, let's go make sure of that!" Sans turned and walked towards the pilot's chambers so as to instruct the Vahki on what to do. OOC: @Crimson Jester @EmperorWhenua @Eyru
  2. IC: Sans, Dume's Office "Let's all head out then." Sans walked towards Toa Maru Stannis. "Stannis, sorry to interrupt, but we haven't yet gotten the chance to speak together. Back when I was a Toa, I just barely missed running into the full Toa Maru team, once. Your reputation proceeds you." Sans slapped Stannis on the back. "I'm sorry we couldn't have met in better circumstances. I'm sure we could waste a night sharing old stories between ourselves. I hope we meet again and get that chance." Sans walked towards the door, and saw the Waveahk was still standing in the hall, cuffed and flanked by the armored Vahki. "Leklo, Korruhn, Taja, let's head down to the main level. I intend to find a ship to fly us out there; we're gonna airdrop right smack dab in the middle of 'em, and show them the strength of Metru-Nui!" Then, Sans walked out of the crowded office, wondering if he would ever see any of these people again. OOC: @Crimson Jester @EmperorWhenua @Eyru (maybe @Onaku too?) We are officially leaving this office, and going to war.
  3. IC: Sans, Dume's Office "I'm coming with you." Sans turned to address the De-Toa. "Good! We'll need all the help we can get. The city's defenses are barely holding as is, and Pridak may have the best troops of them all." Sans extended his hand out to shake the new Toa's. "I'm Sans, in case you hadn't heard. Stick close to me; we'll watch each other's back, though you'll find you'll have more back to watch than I will, huhuhuhu!" Sans winked at the De-Toa, then turned back to address the other three. "Are you all in as well? One more adventure in the City of Legends? We should be leaving immediately, there's no time to waste." OOC: @Crimson Jester @EmperorWhenua @Onaku @Eyru
  4. IC: Sans, Dume's Office The chaos seemed to be subsiding. Sans hurried inside the office to clear the doorway for the Toa carrying the injured Ta-Matoran. Sans approached his old friends, now known as Korruhn and Leklo and Aradra. "It seems our purpose here has been fulfilled, and Dume seems ready to leave. As much as I'd like to wait around to see who brings the last Great Disk here, karz, who knows if anyone even found it in time before the League entered the island. The way I see it, each of the six Kings have their own egos, and I doubt they trust one another as far as I could throw them. Pridak holds them together through fear alone. If we could take him out, they'd begin fighting among themselves, and maybe then the City of Legends could be saved." Sans plucked his staff from his back and thumped it solidly a single time on the ground. "I'm going to stop him. It may be a suicide mission, but I've lived a long life, and there's still much fight in these old bones, he'll soon see. Will you three join me in taking back the frozen streets of Ko-Metru?" OOC: @Crimson Jester @EmperorWhenua @Onaku
  5. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Mata-Nui used His control over iron to gather several nearby Bohrok into the hole in the wall before crushing and contorting them into lifeless sheets of metal, creating a makeshift barricade over the hole the three warriors and their Matoran guide entered from. He winced and cringed from pain as He did so.
  6. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Mata-Nui just growled as he reversed the magnetic pull, instead pushing Ostrox hopefully down the hallway he came from. For good measure, Mata-Nui launched his own sickness Rhotuka back at his foe.
  7. I'm gonna be honest chief, seems like a meme game and I wouldn't play :/
  8. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Before Mazor could reply, some newcomer gave his own answer. All the Avatar saw was some projectile whirling with energy aimed directly at His chest. It impacted squarely, and the cackling of energy echoed throughout the fleshy interior. "Ha ha ha.. ha ha.. ha aha.. ha haa..." Mata-Nui's head rose slowly as he looked his attacker in their eyes. "I have three eyes, one for each Virtue. Your attempt to obfuscate my senses only represents the actions of all beings who try so had to tarnish the Three Virtues I have left for you all." The room seemed to spin, and up and down were becoming left and right, yet Mata-Nui wavered not. He extended his hand again, this time motioning as if to choke the air. "I will teach you. I am Many, whose strength grows in Unity. You are alone, and weak without Unity. My Duty is to end all beings' heretical lives so that all may share in My true vision and glory. You' have no Duty, and thus your life is worthless with purpose. My Destiny is to rise, and grow more powerful than all else that ever was or will be. Your Destiny is to be the first to fall, and you seem ready to accept your place under my heel." The space between the Untethered monster and Ostrox vibrated with the forces of magnetism, and Mata-Nui used His powers to draw Ostrox's neck between His mighty fingers. OOC: @Toru Nui for the record, He is trying to Force Pull you, I'm not syaing this automatically happened. It's happening right now.
  9. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex "Your lives as you currently live them have strayed from My chosen path. I seek to end your delusional existences, and bring all My children back towards My path." Mata-Nui brought his hand back after Mazor recoiled his. "If you will not obey willingly, then I'll take the artifact by force. This is your last chance, will you defy your Great Spirit's will? Are you so arrogant as to think you stand a chance at impeding My will? Grant me the artifact, and I will end these petty wars and conflicts that have consumed My universe. Deny me, and you will be the first to die." OOC: @Smudge8 @Conway @Toru Nui
  10. Made a list of all the action going on in the Colosseum, since there's a lot happening. I personally love how convoluted we made Turaga Dume's office. I hope this helps people organize their characters and figure out what to do next. There's a bit of confusion regarding the immediate assassination attempt taking place against Turaga Dume right now, so once that gets resolved and the timeline gets set then I'm sure many players will fats track themselves out into their next missions. -=Dume’s Office=- Sans in the doorways Waveahk and two Vahki behind him Stannis by the door Knichou, chilling and texting Kanohi Jutori, Just became a Toa Jabali, Self-Conscious and noticing the action unfold Atami, held up from becoming a Toa Vashni attacking Sidra Zataka attacking Sidra Okuo pinning Dume Dume being pinned Sidra, getting attacked behind the desk (one nektan by the window) Taja, zoning out Aradra, checking on Taja Leklo, still kind of hallucinating Korruhn, By Leklo, using gravity on the Rhotuka -=Colosseum General=- Raz, talking to Kanohi Kanohi, resting several floors down, talking to Raz Kovac, in the hospital Idlyx, taunting Kovac in the hospital Kohara, Talking to imprisoned Turaga Lhikan -=Cortex=- Mata-Nui Monster, trying to sit in the gameing chair Ostrox, about to fight Mata-Nui Mazor, debating whether or not to give the Krom Sphere to Mata-Nui Irna, Defensive against Mata-Nui Again, sorry if I missed someone, got the last action wrong, or misspelled someone's name :0
  11. IC: Sans, Dume's Office Sans led Waveahk and his Vahki escort from the elevator towards Dume's office. "You know, if you've got a slug in your arm, you might wanna disclose that to someone who knows how to help that out. Like, some street thug shot you? Or an actual slug?" Sans shrugged. "I don't know man, I just don't know, huhuhuhu." Sans approached the door to Dume's office, turned the knob, then entered, his party behind him. "Hello, new friends and old! Did you miss me? Huhuhuhuhu-hackhehackheckhuhuuck!" Sans choked on his words when he saw the scene before him: some new Toa, new Matoran, and a bloody body lying prone on top of Turaga Dume, all staring in awe at some emerald warrior across the room. OOC: Waveahk and Sans made it back
  12. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex "Yes, that was Me, guiding you to your Destiny with Me. That Orb is meant to power Myself as I manipulate the universe itself." Mata-Nui pushed his open hand forward a bit more. "The time has come. Grant Me My artifact, as is your Destiny." OOC: @Smudge8 @Toru Nui @Conway
  13. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex "Where are we? We are inside My head. This is the center of My mind. You are where all universal operations stem from. If, say, some callous Toa were to unleash a Nova Blast here, nothing short of the death of the universe would occur. What am I? The better phrasing would be, 'what are we?' We are the Great Spirit incarnate. I am Mata-Nui manifest so I may directly exert My will. Which leads to your third question. That artifact is the key to my own eternal life in this form. Its purpose is to stabilize this composite body, as I'm sure you've noticed the sheer energy We are composed of is eternally restless." Mata-Nui extended his free hand with an open palm towards Mazor. "It was My will that brought you here. It was My own forces that guided your destinies. You were made to bring that artifact to me. Now the time has come. Grant me the artifact, and witness the Destiny of Mata-Nui fulfilled." OOC: @Smudge8 @Conway
  14. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex "Then ask. Be warned, you may not like the answers you receive. I can tell you now, your survival depends on turning around right now and ceasing to interfere with nothing short of My will." Mata-Nui's Avatar held its mace high, ready to strike down any sudden movements. A silver Bohrok entered the room and began... "cleaning up" Nuju's corpse. OOC: @Smudge8 @Conway
  15. We thought we should put this up for reference: Mata-Nui (Untethered Avatar) Powers: Magnetism and Fire and Iron, as per the three combined units in the Kaita fusion. A Rhotuka of sickness launcher within its chest, though the emphasis is more on the blunt force of the projectile more than extended periods of illness if one should be struck by it. The weapons all fused into this monstrous mace with dozens of blades surrounding the clubbed head. This mace exhibits the repulsion powers of Vyarik's previous blades. Very strong, since three beings compose this one, especially the already very strong Othorak. Ghostly wail which can summon other Untethered to it if needed and assuming they can journey to the location. Hive-mind mind-link with other Untethered. Any other powers UN predecided this being has that we are not yet aware of. Appearance: Exterior is a constantly shifting mass of metal plates and parts that scrape and bend around one another as if being eternally shifted by inner struggles of magnetism and gravity at odds with one another. Tiny tendrils of granular metal extend like wispy tentacles form the beings limbs. Skull pauldrons, and the entire body is like armor dipped in a deeply crimson blood, as well as dark, black accents throughout the red form. Three eyes and a wicked smile emerge from behind a grotesque combination of two different ruined masks forged over one another. Subtle flames still burn within the beast. In two words: Nightmare Fuel.
  16. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex The monstrous beast felt peaceful inside his own head. Every spirit lived in this space, in this moment, through him, and through Him. Then His space was invaded. His own head was filled with intruders, like a virus causing a headache. Mata-Nui's Avatar paid no mind at first, as He continued to remember this place. After a moment more, He turned back towards these three newcomers. "You do not belong here. You only hurt Me. I am the Life you live, and soon you will be born again in Me. You should not have come here, now leave, and be glad to be one with the Great Spirit." The three newcomers just stared blankly, maybe even cautiously, as the monstrous Mata-Nui Avatar commanded them. "Fine. I see that you are here with the purpose of hurting me. Already you have caused me so much pain. If you will not leave willingly, you'll join Me by force." Mata-Nui conjured his fused weapon in hand: a monstrously huge mace with dozen of blades ringed around the clubbed head. Mata-Nui took two mighty steps forward, and in a swing faster than any would reasonably expect from such a large arm, the mace crashed into the smallest one's body. Upon contact, a thunder cracked throughout the room, and a crumpled heap of Matoran flew across the room, lifeless when it finally came to rest. Mata-Nui stared down the two remaining figures. "Leave now, or suffer the same fate." OOC: @Smudge8 @Conway and I think coming up behind @Toru Nui? Also, UN gave me permission to btfo Nuju.
  17. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison "Hello Waveahk, I'm Sans, as you probably know, huhuhuhu." Sans and Waveahk and his Vahki guards entered the elevator then began riding up again. "I gotta say, it's really cool how you didn't try to kill anyone. The last time someone barged in on Turaga Dume like that, they tried to kill him. So thanks. I'd shake your hand but you seem a little tied up right now, huhuhuhuhu. Say, we've got a minute here, could you try and explain that crazy stuff better? Lhikan seemed similarly crazy. I wonder if there's a gas leak down there that's making everyone go loopy. I'm immune, if so, since I'm as loopy as I can already be, huhuhuhuhu." OOC: @Toru Nui
  18. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison "Turaga Lhikan, duhh! Huhuhuhuhu." Sans winked at the Av-Toa. "He and I used to be work acquaintances. It was surreal bumping into each other like this. As we said goodbye, he started freaking out, acting like his wish was gonna come true. I don't know, maybe he's spent a little too much time in here, huhuhuhu." Sans turned now towards Waveahk. "Basically, yes. It's easier to go tell Dume what we know and maybe get some others to go down these stairs and find the monster while it's nowhere in sight than it is when the monster is trying to kill us. If we go back, Dume might even let you out of those cuffs, if you promise to help end this strange monster. Dume needs to know, though. Plus, I need to speak with him about Turaga Lhikan's imprisonment." Sans pushed the elevator button, and its doors opened. "I'm going up, do you two want to catch this lift with me, or wait for the next one?" OOC: @~Xemnas~ @Toru Nui
  19. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison "Yeah, I was gonna ask you, by the way, what's your name? Or again, if you already said it? Old ears, hard of hearing, huhuhuhu. But more importantly, what are you talking about? You've been kinda panicky since you burst through that window. Why don't you tell me the full rundown. The monster is gone, so I don't think you're in any danger anymore." Sans neglected to mention the really freaked out Turaga Lhikan only moments before. OOC: @Toru Nui
  20. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison "You have to leave. Please." Sans stood and looked at his now panicked friend. He heard his warning, and was considering it over before finding his odder company. "Yeah, well, I wish that wishes didn't come true, including this one, huhuhuhuhu." Sans winked at Turaga Lhikan, hoping his comedic disregard for his serious concerns would cheer his mood up somewhat. Besides, Sans didn't really care about wishes; it was someone's one hard work that brought success, not wild prayers. Sans started walking back up the hallway. He looked over his shoulder to see Lhikan in his cell one more time. Sans hoped he could do something for his old friend. For now, though, he walked towards the stairwell where he saw his companions. "Nice find. The other prisoner is getting really spooked. We should go tell Turaga Dume what we found. I'm gonna head up, y'all following?" Sans began walking towards the elevator again. OOC: @Toru Nui @~Xemnas~
  21. IC: Sans, Heart to Heart "Little Lhii..." Sans could tell, just uttering that long-forgotten nickname made Lhikan jerk his head away towards the floor. Sans reached out with his elemental powers and could detect the water building in his fiery, now so old, eyes. "It's okay, Lhikan. It's okay." Sans put the staff down beside him, and sat criss-cross on the ground, placing one palm against the screen dividing them. "Lhikan, I'm proud to have called you brother. It was never your Toa power that made you strong, it was your heart." Sans let the moments hand heavy and silent before speaking again. "So you're the one who hid the disks int he first place. I helped some Matoran find the one in Le-Metru. The chutes were quite the surfing experience, huhuhuhu." This chuckle was sad, but hopefully the happiness there could penetrate Lhikan's heart and make his old friend smile again. "So you messed up, Lhikan. It is wrong to murder your brother and sister Toa. But I forgive you, Lhikan. Seeing you here, today, right now, even with everything, seeing you again, fills my heart with determination. My group gave our disks to Turaga Dume. he made all three Matoran into new Toa! Does that alarm you? Does Dume truly plan to use them so maliciously? He should have more now, I think. Some airship was landing and I think they said they had one. Before long, he'll probably have them all. Is that so bad? Do you know exactly what he plans to do with them?" Sans stood, and picked his staff up again while his old friend watched. "I'm down here with a few others investigating this headless monster that I guess broke out of here. Did you see it? Anything you can tell me about it? After this, I'm going back to Turaga Dume to present my findings. I'll ask him to release you into my care, if you'll follow me. There's some new Toa out there who need my help, and I'm sure they could use yours too. The Barraki have landed throughout Metru-Nui. Some terrorist crashed an airship in the Forge District in Ta-Metru earlier, and literal zombies have been rising up everywhere the dead lay. It's worse than chaos, it's Karzahni come. I may be a Turaga now, but my Destiny isn't over. I need to help these new heroes, and the Matoran entirely, Lhikan. I'm going to ask Dume to let you free. I think the city could use you right now too. Would you come with me, if you could?" Sans took a step back, and removed his hand from the screen. "I understand if you'd rather me not ask, though... I'm sure this is all hard on you, brother. At the least, it's safe down here. Maybe I should get in there with you; us old timers aren't made for long periods of war, huhuhuhu." Sans shook his own head this time. "Mata-Nui, how strange we met again, in such a time, in such a place. I'm glad we did, brother. I'm glad I could forgive you. I hope, in time, you can forgive yourself, too." OOC: @Unreliable Narrator
  22. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison "Lhikan?!" Sans dropped his staff he was so caught off guard. He picked it back up, rising again to see Turaga Lhikan facing him from the other side of the cell. "You... your feet are chained?! Lhikan, my boy, what happened to you!? I came to this island because my last home fell to the Barraki, and I wanted to inspire the Matoran here even in my old age. I became a Turaga long ago, yet still I move around. I give hope to the people. I try and make them joyous and proud. I've been helping some collect Great Disks, and upstairs a few minutes ago they were rewarded by Dume making them Toa! Does Dume know you're down here?!" Sans shook his head from side to side. "Of course he does... I had heard that Toa Lhikan had gone missing. What happened to you, friend? When we said goodbye, Mata-Nui who knows how long it's been. Since those Nui-Rama, yeah. Many of the Toa who were just in the area came down to help. You were so spry then, so selfless, and strong, especially strong of will. Now look at you, you look near as old as me. How did you get here? I'm just rambling- I can't believe this. Lhikan, what happened to you??" OOC: @Unreliable Narrator
  23. IC: Sans, Colosseum Prison While before it seemed to Sans that he formed some odd sort of company when he had grown several stories tall and was carrying three Ko-Matoran across Le-Metru, now an odder company had assembled inside this thankfully-large elevator. They stood in awkward silence, and Sans considered the comedic merits of growing himself to be bigger than the big blue guy, who was in cuffs and held by some Vahki, so Sans at least felt a bit at ease. Once the elevator came to rest, Sans let the Vahki and Waveahk lead the way. After some time, they entered the prison level, and saw immediate carnage. One cell was smashed open, and several broken Vahki lay on the floor. Sans bent over to handle a piece of the broken wall, yet immediately coiled his hand back. "It's still hot. This was fresh. Looks like the big guy wasn't lying." Sans pointed at one of the Vahki restraining Waveahk with his staff. "Report our findings to... all your other units, or whatever it is you things do to communicate. Let as many police robots as possible know to be on the look out. Whatever did this couldn't have gotten far." Sans then turned to address Kohara. "I guess we should split up a bit and see if we can't figure out which way this headless monster went. I'm gonna go peek at the other cells and see if any other prisoners saw anything helpful. You, uh, do whatever you think is best." He leaned in closer, and spoke in a more hushed tone, "and keep an eye on the big guy. I still don't trust him. If it comes down to it, I think we can take him though, huhuhuhu." So Sans walked down towards the other cages. The sound of weeping caught his ear, coming from the cell next to the shattered one. He tapped his glass against the field, and hollered at what he realized was a fellow Turaga! "Hey! Old timer! I hope they didn't lock you up for taking too long to cross the street, or else I might be joining you, huhuhuhu!" OOC: Sans interacting with Turaga Lhikan @Unreliable Narrator
