  1. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - On top of the Vahki Hive: After Patiwairutiki’s first attack struck true, the Kaita ACR pulled the blade out of the impact point and prepared to strike again. Distress signals detected from target structure. Something approaches from above! Proximity alert. Collision Imminent. Performing evasive maneuvers. As the dark shape above rapidly descended, Patiwairutiki leaned on the edge of the vahki hive to increase its tilt. Grabbing hold of some greebling with one hand, it thrust the other out into the open sky. “Prepare for turbulence,” the mechanical enforcer announced to its allies who were infiltrating the fortress. “Propulsion gust!” A blast of concentrated wind emitted from the titanic mech’s hand out into the atmosphere. The force of the blast caused the fortress to jolt in the opposite direction before slowly picking up speed. Assuming the airship above fell in a straight line, the ACR and the fortress would be out of the way by the time it arrived. "Ally Jutori, prepare for imminent combat." 2. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - The Skies above the Vahki Hive: As the machine counted silently counted down until gravity could be restored, the nanite film on its chassis began to rattle. The sudden vibrations we’re enough to cause issues, but the noise of moving metal on ACR seats broke the peaceful quiet in the cockpit. It looks like you have an incoming call from Knichou and Nale. This is not an ideal time. This unit is preparing the final aerial maneuver. I’m going to patch you through anyways. The clockwork contraption sat in silence while Jutori took point in communicating with the others, until eventually Nale commented, “...I'm guessing you two didn't have anything to do with the ball in the sky coming down.” “Affirmative,” the machine responded. “When Ally Jutori and this unit began ascending, the aqua sphere's levitation was still functional. The aqua sphere can be investigated later. Right now Barraki Ehlek will be dealt with.” A brief countdown from five to one appeared in Jutori’s mind. As the last digit faded Jutori released his control over gravity, returning Patiwairutiki to normal physics. As gravity took hold once again the mech’s rise slowly decelerated, eventually halting as the Kaita ACR rose several lengths above the floating fortress. With the forward trajectory granted by the clockwork construct’s previous efforts, Patiwairutiki flipped forwards through the sky with the mechanical precision that could only be calculated by a robot who had just spent several minutes flying upwards in a mostly straight line. As the technological titan tumbled it retrieved the claymore from its back and entered a ready position. The arc of its final flip left it aimed directly at the center of the hive, and the mighty robotic biped stabbed its sword downwards towards the floating fortress. OOC: @~Xemnas~@Tarn@BULiK@Snelly. @Unreliable Narrator@Vezok's Friend@Eyru Patiwairutiki is attempting to stab the floating vahki hive with a claymore. IC Ysocla - Tactical Panda II: Ysocla always tried to think rationally. Yes, there were obviously god-like beings that her people regularly made sacrifices to in order to create giant monsters, but for the most part things made logical sense. For as much as her relatives haunted her mind, they were definitely dead and gone. No matter how strong someone was, cutting their head off killed them. The talking head in front of her vehemently disagreed with that notion apparently. Despite ostensibly sitting around being part of a corpse for the past month and a half, the head was now alive and kicking. The fact that the head was still alive and talking didn’t really phase Ysocla all that much after the day she’d been through. The fact that the head apparently wanted more physical violence aimed at it was a bit creepy though. “I don’t think the Matoran have anything to do with what this is,” Ysocla responded. “But something tells me devilry might be the right word for this situation.” During the trip over, the engineer had felt in her mind the signal from before vanish into nothing, only for another, stronger force to fill the gap. She reached out to it now with some simple commands. [Please head towards the giant head at the western coast. Try to avoid attention on the journey.] OOC: @EmperorWhenua@Gecko Greavesy
  3. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - The Wild Blue Yonder: Proximity alert. Performing evasive maneuvers. “Lateral gale!” said the machine, focusing on the air around Patiwairutiki. The atmosphere around answered the call, though the crosswind that arrived was a bit less gentle than the earlier corrective gusts. The two pilots were rattled about as the sudden force began to curve their trajectory. In the nick of time their redirected ascent carried them past the now falling aqua sphere, giving the duo a chance to view the buildings within. “This unit is 100% certain that neither this unit nor Ally Jutori is responsible for that. There is nothing that can be done to slow the sphere’s descent. For now, the target is the floating fortress. This unit is sharing a plan of attack.” Using the shared mental link, a diagram would appear before Jutori’s mind’s eye depicting a super-deformed image of the Kaita ACR raising past the floating fortress before arcing back down on top of it. As the chibi mech prepared to land on the fortress it drew its claymore and plunged the blade into the center of the structure. A point early on the illustrated flight path was marked, “restore gravity here.” “Patiwairutiki will reach the target in approximately 20 seconds. Please be ready to restore gravity. Alternatively, there are approximately 20 seconds for alternate proposals if Ally Jutori has any.” OOC: @Tarn@Unreliable Narrator
  4. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - The Wild Blue Yonder: According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a Kaita ACR should be able to fly. It has no wings to get its chunky metal body off the ground. This specific Kaita ACR flew anyways. Because the two pilots within didn’t care what people thought was impossible. In the eastern skies of Zakaz an unusual sight could be witnessed. Not any more unusual than normal perhaps, but something that likely hadn’t been seen before. A large bipedal robot ascended into the skies with little resistance on a direct course with the glass sphere high above. The pilots within had no time to worry about how silly the situation must have looked. After managing to weather the intense g-forces of takeoff the two were occupied in their respective duties. While its companion focused on keeping the titanic mech aloft, the clockwork contraption uttered various commands to the atmosphere around them, directing the nearby breeze upwards while banishing any potential crosswinds. The glass dome above grew increasingly large in their vision as they ascended. Despite how impractical it was the plan seemed to be working. Soon Patiwairutiki’s form passed by the aqua sphere. Under the command of the mechanical enforcer the sky itself slowed their momentum and guided them above the glass structure. With a close-up perspective, it was time to get a good look around and choose a proper spot to land. OOC: @Tarn@Unreliable Narrator or perhaps @Eyru or @Vezok's Friend
  5. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - below the aqua sphere: No records exist for “Aspect of Makuta”. Additional research will be required. Not immediate priority. Will deal with later. The machine adjusted Patiwairutiki’s position, attempting to shift it into as aerodynamic a pose as possible. As it braced for the oncoming force, it turned to the gravity toa beside it. "Once the launch has commenced, this unit will use the air to correct the trajectory. Focus on keeping Patiwairutiki weightless. When Ally Jutori is ready, lower the gravity and give a signal. This unit is ready.” OOC: @Tarn@Kal the Guardian
  6. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - On top of Patiwairutiki - below the aqua sphere: “This unit’s plan is simple: Ally Jutori will reduce the gravity of this mech, Patiwairutiki. The giant Toa Viltia, just the one or both, will then throw this mech up to the sphere.” The mechanical enforcer donned its Hiko and climbed into Patiwairutiki’s cockpit. “Before engaging the plan, please elaborate on who Sorilax is. This unit will keep an eye out for them.” OOC: @Tarn@Kal the Guardian
  7. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - On top of Patiwairutiki - below the aqua sphere: “Greetings, unknown toa NUVA. This unit’s designation is Citizen Pacification Unit K1R1 Kilo-M9 NUVA. Short form Kilo. As Ally Jutori just mentioned, this unit intends to reach the aqua sphere and bring this mech to deal with any dangerous forces. The Administrator stated that two matoran released a prisoner that intends to harm the Administrator and potential data servers of builder culture. In addition, this unit has detected a usurper hive adjacent to the sphere that likely contains Barraki Ehlek who is performing matoran experiments. Barraki Ehlek must be stopped.” The machine took another look at the humongous toa NUVA. “Would unknown toa NUVA be willing to assist this unit with reaching the sphere?” OOC: @Tarn@Kal the Guardian
  8. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki's cockpit - below the aqua sphere: “This unit requires Ally Jutori to nullify Patiwairutiki’s gravity until the sphere is reached,” the machine explained. “Opposition will be encountered on the sphere. This unit intends to bring Patiwairutiki to deal with it.” OOC: @Tarn
  9. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki Cockpit - Below the Aqua Sphere: Usurper hive indicates presence of Metru Nui population. Metru Nui currently consists of League population. Flight configuration indicates usurper hive was modified by technically skilled individual. Truce currently exist between Kini Koro population and League. Barraki Ehlek is performing experiments on matoran, yet truce still exists. In order to perform experiments, Barraki Ehlek requires an isolated location with minimal chance of scrutiny to prevent possible interference. Conclusion: Barraki Ehlek is in the usurper hive. New plan of approach will be required. “This unit has calculated that Barraki Ehlek is likely in the usurper hive,” the machine explained. “This unit initially planned to teleport with Ally Jutori directly up to the sphere. This approach has issues, specifically the imprecise arrival point. Upon landing this unit and Ally Jutori may be vulnerable to attack. If the usurper hive is present, there will likely be usurper units. Any attempt to enter the sphere will likely include resistance or flanking by usurper units. In addition, Barrakki Ehlek must be stopped from performing more experiments. This unit is creating a new plan of approach.” The mechanical enforcer paused in order to let the words sink in and to begin some quick calculations. “Records indicate that gravity toa are able to utilize their element to lower their personal gravity in order to jump or float to locations. How long can Ally Jutori sustain this sort of elemental function?” OOC: @Tarn
  10. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Outside the Elemental Ruins of Water: After a brief period of adjusting to their newfound aerial mobility, the pair of oddities managed to make their way to Patiwairutiki’s cockpit. They turned the mech’s many eyes skyward, hoping to catch a glimpse of their new target. Whether by luck, the effects of the water tahtorak’s recent demise, or perhaps by the desires of a divine power who did not want to delay their journey any longer, the morning sky was relatively cloud free. The search initially proved fruitless until by chance the upper pair of eyes on the kaita managed to spot an unusual circle floating far above. Traveling southeast in the direction of their target, it became increasingly clear just how high the sphere was floating. Through Patiwairutiki’s mental link Jutori could hear the sounds of his mechanical companion performing several quick calculations, putting the estimated height of the sphere at 9,555.55 bio. The machine began to calculate possible plans of approach. Accuracy of long range teleport has potential offset of- At target altitude, potential wind speed will be- Ally Jutori could utilize gravity powers to compensate for- The mech eventually stopped atop a hill nearly directly below the floating sphere. “This unit will collect additional long-distance images,” the machine stated as it exited the mech. Climbing atop the kaita ACR’s head, the robotic NUVA swapped out the Hiko on its face for the Akaku it had obtained in the water temple. Using the telescopic scope installed on the mask the machine zoomed in its view of Mi-kiri. From its current angle it was difficult to make out too many details of the contents of the sphere. There was clearly water occupying a large portion of the interior space as well as structures of some sort. Something moving nearby caught the machine’s attention before further analysis could be performed. Another smaller structure was orbiting the aqua sphere. It was immediately clear that this adjacent floating entity did not share the same architectural designs as the sphere’s contents, and additional analysis displayed all too familiar identifying features. Jutori’s adaptive armor received a radio transmission from the mechanical enforcer. “Ally Jutori, this unit has detected a usurper hive adjacent to the target destination.” OOC: @Tarn
  11. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: Together the machine and its gravity toa companion traveled out the temple’s entrance back into the cave behind the waterfall. Bits of nanites traveled around the mechanical enforcer’s body, waterproofing areas where moisture began to build up. When the pair spoke next, the adaptive armor they both wore activated radio receivers so they could communicate without having to raise their voices. "So you want me to help you pilot that thing?" “Affirmative,” the machine responded to Jutori. “Ally Jutori’s upgraded elemental powers will be invaluable for aerial based missions. Greater ability variety enhances Patiwairutiki’s adaptability for situations. This unit is already constructing possible plans combining all current powers.” The pair continued past the waterfall out of the cave before the machine continued. “That is not the only reason. There is also the fact tha-” Skyra interrupted, wandering past the pair before giving a wave as she vanished into the morning sky. “...There is a direct portal to Kini-Nui in the NUVA room of the temple. Flying to Kini-Nui is inefficient. Anyway, there is also the fact that this unit appreciates Ally Jutori’s company. Ally Jutori continues to display loyalty and a desire to help and support others even without obvious rewards. That selfless quality is why this unit wanted to give the NUVA Proxima transformation to Ally Jutori. This unit appreciates having a reliable companion to trust and to make up for this unit’s limitations.” The machine was silent for a moment as it eyed the distance between the Cliffside trail they were on and the mech they were preparing to board. With a wordless command a large jetpack formed on the NUVA’s back while smaller maneuvering thrusters appeared on its legs. The formerly grounded construct slowly made its first moves into the air, somewhat awkwardly directing its motion. Its head rotated back towards Jutori. “Also Ally Jutori answers direct questions in a concise manner. That is apparently a rare trait in this world.” OOC: @Tarn@Snelly
  12. @Unreliable Narrator, how high up is the aqua sphere nowadays? The first post of the gameplay topic says above the cloud layer, but has that changed at all? If it still is above the cloud layer, how high is that approximately?
  13. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: “Acknowledged. This unit will investigate the sphere.” The machine began to retrace its step towards the entrance before turning back to its toa allies. “Ally Skyra, now is the optimal time to activate your mech,” the mechanical enforcer explained. “Once activated this unit can meet you at the sphere. Ally Jutori, this unit would appreciate your assistance in Patiwairutiki. Before additional actions are taken, this unit advises activating the block Ally Skyra brought from the Taku. It appears to be nanite-based armor.” OOC: @Tarn@Snelly@Unreliable Narrator
  14. IC Ysocla - Tactical Panda II: "But until then, the next greatest thing to direct my ire towards is the head that fell from the sky. The Matoran have always had my ire. I have not forgotten my resentment or detestation for them. Let's see how well their 'Godhead' handles being extra crispy." Ysocla wasn’t sure how to respond to that. It seemed that Lady Yumiwak and her had experienced very different tales about the Matoran civilization before their time. Whereas she knew the Matoran populace to be more heroic and cooperative than her Skakdi peers, Yumiwak saw something darker and less pure in them. Ysocla couldn’t say who was more correct, as she had yet to really encounter any of the people from the skull beside Zataka. No doubt the titan couldn’t be used as a measuring stick for the entire populace. Even while contemplating the coming campaign, there was also the fate of the warskaks to consider. With the destruction of the Rig and the annihilation of the warskaks, the prospect of forming a better Skakdi society seemed to be slipping away. After all, it’s hard to make a society without any people in it. At the end of it all, there was little Ysocla could do presently. Any opposition would be ineffective in the face of everything they had worked through recently, and her concerns were nowhere near concrete enough to raise. She’d just need to bide her time for now. “Of course Lady Yumiwak,” Ysocla said with her usual flat expression. “The Matoran will witness your power.” They’ve had almost two months; surely more of them have left the head by now. OOC: @EmperorWhenua
  15. IC Ysocla - Tactical Panda II: Ysocla reached out to the riteborn mind she was now connected to and sent out a brief command. [Head to the giant fallen head in the west. Stay at the coast, do not engage without additional instructions. Stay safe.] OOC: @Gecko Greavesy@EmperorWhenua
  16. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: Observing Jutori’s choice of kanohi, the machine pulled an akaku and an additional rau from the pile, storing them in the compartments along its body. As Skyra emerged transformed, the mechanical enforcer walked over to where the air toa’s belongings had fallen and picked up one of the blocks of metal she had grabbed on the Taku before their departure. Upon picking it up, the block dispersed into nanites that spread themselves over the NUVA’s form. Unknown code detected. Activating firewalls. It looks like you’re attempting to install a set of adaptive armor. Would you like help? The machine whacked itself in the head multiple times until the nanites settled down into thin film on its chassis. Both Skyra and Jutori seemed to be settled into their new forms, with Skyra as eager to go as always. “Once the administrator provides a destination, this unit and allies can provide assistance,” the NUVA said to its newly transformed counterparts. OOC: @Snelly@Tarn@Unreliable Narrator
  17. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: The machine looked up from its search at the sound of screaming, observing Jutori’s obviously painful transformation. Ally Jutori appears to be in pain. This unit should render medical assistance. No data available for assisting with pain. Updating NUVA Proxima record to reflect new information. “This unit was unaware of any pain associated with the transformation,” the mechanical enforcer explained. “This unit apologizes for not providing adequate information. The pain should pass after a brief period.” The machine continued rummaging while waiting for Skyra to emerge and the Administrator to respond to the earlier query. “Take whatever time is necessary. After your functionality has returned to normal, come over here. There appears to be a selection of powered kanohi available to select.” OOC: @Snelly@Tarn@Unreliable Narrator
  18. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: Administrator is providing more information more readily than usual. Situation is likely serious. Searching citizen database for ‘Mahrika’ and ‘Ollem’... 1 result found. Citizen Ollem. Onu-Matoran. Wanted for following offenses: thievery, abandoning work station. No results found for ‘Mahrika’. Administrator used the term ‘Builders’. Mahrika is likely a Matoran. “NUVA upgrades do not take long to occur. Assistance can potentially be provided after process has been completed,” the machine stated, leading the pair of toa past the constellation room. After a brief tunnel, the trio emerged into a familiar-looking NUVA room with device intact, though this room contained large piles of money and other bits of loot. There appeared to be some damaged restraints still attached to the room’s ceiling for some reason. Retrieving disc 279 from storage. The mechanical enforcer handed the regenerative disc to Skyra, telling her, “When both Allies Jutori and Skyra are prepared, place the disc in the device." It turned to Jutori. "Ally Jutori, make sure to stand closer to Ally Skyra than this unit is.” The robotic NUVA began rummaging through the loot piles, searching for any kanohi for Jutori to use. “Before any aid can be provided, more information is required,” it said to the Administrator. “In particular, a destination is required. Please provide a brief description in addition to any proper nouns used as neither this unit nor present allies are familiar with this island.” OOC: @Snelly@Tarn@Unreliable Narrator
  19. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Elemental Ruins of Water: The trio treaded carefully forward into the ruin. The golden glow of the machine’s eyes increased to provide illumination, but a cursory glance around the room saw that it was unnecessary. Plenty of light was provided by a trio of constellation images on the far wall, revealing a matching trio of gears below the constellations and a number of pillars around the room. The passageway forwards was already open, inviting the adventurers deeper into the ruin. “The puzzles have been solved,” the mechanical enforcer observed. “Unknown individuals have been here previously. This ruin had not been activated when this unit and Ally Jutori were at Kini-Nui. Probability that NUVA upgrade is still available is within acceptable levels.” As the group advanced the machine called out, “Greetings Administrator. Can you confirm that other individuals have visited and solved this ruin recently?” OOC: @Snelly@Tarn@Unreliable Narrator
  20. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki cockpit - Northeast coast: “The destination has been reached.” Through Patiwairutiki’s eyes the pilot trio could see a large bay of water in front of them. The shore on which they stood seemed somewhat incomplete, as if part of it was missing. A small island appeared a short ways off the coast, while down the coast to their left there was the remnants of some sort of town. What drew their attention the most was over on the bank of the bay; on the opposite bank a giant stone kaukau had been carved into a mountain. A rushing waterfall poured from the mouth and eyes of the carving into the bay, and what appeared to be a trail led along the mountain wall to the base of the carving. Closer inspection of the waterfall revealed a small cavern behind it. Leaving the kaita ACR behind using a quick hiko jump, the Odd Company plus Skyra began to investigate their new humid surroundings. The cave had clearly been hit with erosion from the adjacent falls, but the presence of metal cans and the large open doorway in the back indicated that someone had created this area. The machine led the way forward, the glow from its eyes illuminating the cavern as they entered the first doorway. OOC: @Snelly@Tarn@Unreliable Narrator IC Ysocla - Tactical Panda II: Ysocla was silent as Lady Yumiwak spun her tale. She mulled over the words, taking it all in while processing. It all made sense when she thought about it. The situation was almost fablesque in a way, though the hypothetical tale in Ysocla’s head had the much more direct moral of “Don’t make deals with the God of Nightmares”. It seem like advice that didn’t need cautionary tales to explain, but as the soft throbbing in the back of her mind reminded her, even those with no such intentions can find themselves making mistakes. Korio and Zai’s actions made sense; the two had long been each other’s greatest enemies, so it was poetic that they’d perish together. That being said, despite her occasional jabs at the two Ysocla knew that their dynamic was unhealthy. Lady Yumiwak must have been able to see that too, yet they were allowed to continue their infighting. Would more constructive influence have led them on a more positive path? Ysocla couldn’t say. Regardless of what blame could be thrown around, it was clear to the engineer that her liege was suffering in her own way. The present moment was no time for arguing; time was being wonky and they had multiple giant beats to direct. She gave a nod to her liege and said, “Thank you for telling me. Having the knowledge of something tragic like that can weigh a person down. I’m happy to help take some of the load off you.” She glanced upwards as Korio flew past on his way to the Godhead before turning back to Lady Yumiwak. “I did have one more question while we’re heading off. I would’ve expected us to direct our vengeance upon the warskaks after they destroyed our home. Since when have our grievances been with the Matoran?” OOC: @EmperorWhenua
  21. IC Ysocla - Tactical Panda II: The air around her was full of ash and smoke. Above her head the twin dragons that had so recently been her trusted colleagues danced around where Ysocla knew the Panda to be. As Justice crested the last hill, bringing the airship into view, the engineer steeled herself for whatever confrontation was to come. The furrow in her brow softened upon recognizing Yumiwak standing on the deck; at least the absolute worst-case scenario hadn’t come to pass. Revving her bike to alert the crew of her return, Ysocla drove down to the boarding ramp before riding it back to the deck. A couple of crew members had to hurry out of the way of her arrival, though she paid them no mind after hopping off the bike. Instead, she made a beeline directly towards her liege. Her otherwise unwavering gaze was broken momentarily to observe the Kanohi Dragons’ journey northward before reaching Yumiwak. The skakdi empress could plainly see that the engineer had been crying recently, no doubt during the trip back to the ship. Ysocla for her part did not make an effort to conceal her current emotional state. Her body shook with barely-controlled rage while she stared down at the deck in fury. She momentarily thrust an accusatory finger at her liege before her emotions gave out. Instead, Ysocla leaned heavily on her sword and let out a long, haggard sigh. After a moment, her eyes became focused again and she summoned enough strength to stand up straight. Her voice lacked the energy it normally would have, but her words were still purposeful. “...Why them?” OOC: @EmperorWhenua
  22. Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki, east of Kini-Nui: “Affirmative. A new mask will be required after your current one fuses to your face. Otherwise there should be no issues.” OOC: @Snelly@Tarn
  23. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki, east of Kini-Nui: I can see your thoughts you know. At least, whatever your equivalent is. This unit did not request any observations. You want to go after this Ehlek fellow. Barraki Ehlek is an immediate threat to the matoran population. Protecting them takes priority over eliminating the riteborn. Maybe in your rigid little electronic mind, but not everyone has that sort priority list. Normal people use other factors to decide what to do. This unit is not normal nor people. Yes, well, you’re also no longer just a robot. That stopped being the case when you took on your new form. There’s something very important that you need to know right now: even if you didn’t get a new objective programmed into you to fight riteborn, you’d still have a responsibility to do so. That’s part of being NUVA. There must be additional purposes for NUVA. Maybe, but that’s not for me to say. For now, get Skyra on her way so we can continue the mission. As the first light of morning shone from the eastern horizon, Patiwairutiki’s steps brought it ever closer to its destination. “Ally Jutori, this unit has performed a brief search through your memories. No traces of repressed racist personalities were detected, so your proxima transformation should have no negative effects. Ally Skyra, important information on the NUVA transformation still needs to be explained. After placing the great disc into the NUVA device, you will die. This is temporary, so please do not be alarmed. After acquiring NUVA abilities and traveling through the portal to Kini-Nui, there will be a designated bunker. In order to open it, you will die again. This is also temporary, so please do not be alarmed. While there is a way to open the bunker without dying, that requires three NUVA which may not be available.” The machine looked directly at Skyra before continuing. “Additionally, the NUVA transformation will have negative effects on your mind. Ally Atamai lost the ability to feel emotions and this unit received programming errors. Ally Skyra will likely remain the same person, but major changes may happen. If that is an issue, concerns should be raised now.” The mechanical enforcer faced forward again. “This unit is unsure of the Water Ruin’s location. Therefore this unit is traveling to the great temple’s equivalent location to use as a reference point. When the temple is located, prepare for the possibility of puzzles.” OOC: @Tarn@Snelly
  24. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Patiwairutiki, south of Kini-Nui: Registering space_01.jpg, space_02.jpg, and space_03.jpg. Downloading existing records of “Zivon” from Patiwairutiki’s data storage. “Each NUVA is able to unlock a bunker at Kini-Nui containing a Kaita ACR,” the machine explained. “These machines contain the spirit of a kaita which this unit theorizes enables the mechs to harm riteborn. By extrapolation, a normal kaita may also be able to harm riteborn without the use of a mech. This unit has not been able to test this theory as there are no other kralhi units that this unit is aware of. Data that this unit obtained during transformation indicates NUVA may be able to form kaita despite species differences.” Patiwairutiki’s large steps carried the trio around the crater containing Kini-Nui, with the metallic pilot taking care to not stray too close to the city. Whatever was happening there could wait until later. “Each Kaita ACR can use up to three pilots, with the mech being able to utilize the abilities of all three pilots, similar to normal kaita,” the machine continued. “For example, Ally Jutori’s gravity abilities could be used alongside Ally Skyra’s air powers. Copilots are also mentally linked.” OOC: @Tarn@Snelly
  25. IC Kilo-M9 NUVA - Taku Interior: The machine regarded Vashni for a moment with unfeeling eyes before stating, “Acceptable. This unit will delegate dealing with Barraki Ehlek to Allies. Please ensure that he is dealt with permanently.” Turning to the prospective NUVA and Proxima, it continued, “This unit has calculated the likely location of the water temple. Direct teleportation is impossible, so travel will be done using Patiwairutiki. Proper introductions can be performed during transit.” The machine grabbed both Jutori and Skyra before turning back to Vashni. “Good luck, Ally Vashni. Teleport.” Then the trio was gone. They emerged into the open cockpit of Patiwairutiki. The robotic NUVA quickly set about reactivating the mech, whose eyes immediately lit up as it exited stasis. Standing once more, the area around the Kaita ACR was now covered in a shallow layer of water as the disappearing landmass affected the tides. With a wordless exchange of commands, the titanic mecha strode forwards, arcing south of Kini-Nui before trending northeast, towards the coast. All the while the mechanical pilot within studied the night sky above, taking note of particular clusters of stars. Using the right landmarks and a clear reference image, it might be possible to teleport up there... OOC: @Tarn@Snelly
