All they needed was for Rick Astley to come out of nowhere and sing "Never Gonna Give You Up" to really complete it. Sure, he's not British, but neither are Batman and Robin, so why not?
Ah, the Batman and Robin thing was a reference to an old and long-running sitcom we have called Only Fools and Horses. The protagonists Del Boy and Rodney dress up as Batman and Robin respectively for a fancy-dress party but on the way their van breaks down and they're forced to walk it. On the way they interrupt a mugging by charging through a smoky alley with the Adam West Batman theme tune playing. Its a reference I guarantee everyone in Britain will have rolled their eyes at and I'd link you but BZP wouldn't allow it. Just have a look for the clips yourself

Thats not exactly what I was musing on in the entry. Thats just regenerating our current skin, I was joking about buying entirely new ones like a set of new clothes

I only have the next year planned out really, going back to Uni to get a Masters degree. After that...I got nothing

Usually its comics of things that simply work better in a visual medium than in writing.
Or images of individual characters that I have in my head
And then there's Doctor KrakWhoa which is both

Gaaah, I need to keep up with this. I missed out on a whole bunch of posts. Sookus already bumped into you in the Bright Star Inn, can we say he stuck with you to the Kini Nui jaunt?

They don't need to be good people. Thats the joy of them being misfits!

I've tried keeping at it, VB, but it seems my artistic talent lies solely in sketching geometric shapes. When doing a pile of mechanical bits and bobs I'm all well and good, but the stuff I actually want to draw? No dice.
-
That only works if I have large amounts of money going spare Sisen. I unfortunately lack that as well

True. You didn't see the monarchy of Holland or Denmark being pronounced Emperor/Empress of anywhere

Despite being rather American, I absolutely love Eurovision. It's so very . . . flamboyant. I often find myself greatly disagreeing with the outcome, though. Haven't seen this year's submissions yet--have to do that tomorrow, I guess.
Yes, its the entries that don't take themselves so seriously that I love. Moldova, Turkey, anything with a bit of flair. I really didn't like the Albanian entry, just a woman shouting at us for a minute or so
The problem is that even if we could come up with a decent act, no-one would vote for us. Europe isn't fond of us English
True. While its not all political, a lot of it clearly is or Greece and Cyprus probably wouldn't have awarded each other 12 points. We need to get us some more trading partners

I dunno, Howard Stark couldn't actually get his stuff to work. Its said in the iron Man films that he was limited by what he had available and a lot of his stuff (like the ARC Reactor) was impressive looking but not actually all that effective. The Tony comes along and makes a few tweaks, like miniaturising the reactor, and he actually gets things done

The high tech level in Cap is either down to Stark or Hydra. In the case of Howard Stark and things like hovering cars, well, what would you expect from Stark Industries?
In the case of Hydra its because they've got the Tesseract bumping them up. Crazy things like that rocket-copter the Red Skull pilots and the big Valkyrie at the end were all genuine designs from WWII, its just they couldn't work. Throw in a magitek maguffin though...

Not caught up with that yet. maybe wait for the whole season is out so I can watch it in one go and don't get caught on any hiatuses like when I started keeping up with Young Justice
-
Wait, I can understand not liking Thor (which I thought was kind of average), but you didn't like Captain America? That one was crazy fun!

I think my friends and I were going to see it, but the tickets have probably sold out by now.

Lock must be rusted shut then

The first series was a bit eehhh but it picked up once the New Mutants got enrolled and the plot starts moving

I did quite enjoy the concept of hub worlds, though I'd still rank the first Indy game above this. A lot of the levels, especially bonus ones, were too repetitive (like the one in ToD where you have to wrap up seven or so pankot guards to drag them onto pressure pads) and I missed being able to freeplay levels

All those memes, lost forever

Oh I'll be continuing Island, I just like having options. I've been working on the Visorak one mentioned here for about a year now trying to figure out the mechanics
-
Well with the Lantern Corps they're only powered by one emotion. Here you'd be powered by all them, with what power you have dependant on what emotion you feel. Angry? Ring turns red, you get Fire. Scared? Ring turns brown, you get Rock. I think the problem is more that anyone could have claim to have any power they wanted
-
It could even share the same 'build the island as you go' mechanics...
-
I'd read it. I loved Slizers on Mata Nui

I don't know what, but it feels like it's missing something to add some visual interest. It's a solid, well done build. But it needs a spark of some sort, but I'm at a loss as to what that should be. Maybe some fins from the sides? To maybe match the shark motif? I don't know at all, and it almost frustrates me that I can't think of what it needs.
Larger dorsal fin maybe?

Actually if you were to go to a certain popular video-sharing site unmentionable on BZP and add this to the url you should get a good look at the clip and its context
