  1. Going off of what Greg has said before.. 1) The Turaga 2) If more Matoran are needed to get a job done 3) Not sure what you mean by responsible 4) Their duty is whatever they were created to do 5) Probably not. They start with all the knowledge they need to do whatever task they were created for. They do not choose their careers, not at first anyway.
  2. Someone asked how Voporak would defend himself against bullets, and Greg casually explained (accurately) how space, time, and gravity are all the same thing. - Now here's something genuinely interesting:
  3. Why is it so hard to believe that it's simply because Makuta created them?
  4. This did not answer my question. What does connecting Bionicle and Hero Factory do to make either stories better?
  5. It's gotta be. I really wish he knew how to actually quote Greg, rather than just awkwardly paraphrasing the man's replies, because I would really like to see how he actually responded.
  6. Think about it - Half of Bionicle's story is justifying the decisions that the set designers made. I'm not sure many of you recall, but there was a huge discussion as to why the '04 Matoran had partially-silver Kanohi, and Greg found himself cornered by fans demanding to know the specific reason why, and he seemed to have a difficult time coming up with an answer that didn't contradict pre-established lore. In reality, the answer was just that the set designers thought it looked cool. There's a hundred other examples like this, like Takanuva becoming giant in '08, the Kanohi Inika being disturbingly organic, and whatnot. Plus, needing to introduce a whole new cast of characters each year and only focusing on the ones who currently had sets was a big constraint on the story. I'd really like to see what Bionicle could look like if it didn't have to bend over backwards to accommodate the whims of the toys. Don't get me wrong, I love the toys, but I'd really like to know what Bionicle could have looked like if it was story-first/sets-later instead of the way it is.
  7. Can you be more specific on what you didn't like about the post?
  8. Like I said, you do not understand how hashtags work. That is why your plan will fail before it even begins. Many other people have elaborated on this already.
  9. Not this again.. I'm sorry, but you don't seem to understand how hashtags work on any level. Also, there are not enough HF fans for Lego to even consider any of these "demands." We already went over all of this with your other ridiculous Bionicle hashtags.
  10. I shouldn't even entertain your nonsense with serious answers, but I'll cave in and call out one in particular. "MoreMataNuiOnlineGames??" Bionicle has been dead for 10 years my guy, and the story moved away from the island of Mata Nui in 2003.
  11. I'm pretty sure that half of those hashtags go beyond twitter's character limit. The other half barely make any sense.
  12. Dude it's been two years since the last comment.
  13. Well the Phantoka had whole new torsos and a lot of bat wings; Chirox had some really wild arms and Vamprah was pretty unique too; only Antroz was "normal." The Mistika Makuta were pretty wild as well; with Gorast's extra limbs and Krika's everything. I'm talking more about overall design/silhouette than a piece-by-piece breakdown.
  14. -Didn't mean to necro, pls delete and pls forgive-
  15. For me, my biggest gripe with CCBS was the simplicity of the limb construction and the overall aesthetic of it. It was smooth and sleek, and didn't look like "bionicle." Relying fully on ball joints and clips just felt weird. Give me my pins and sticks! Give me my fake pistons and fake mechanical parts! That being said, the torsos and their gear functions were top-notch. Functionally, Bionicle G2 was great, but aesthetically it wasn't that great.
  16. Having Mata Nui just "go dormant" after the events of 2009/2010 is pretty lame. In my headcanon he goes takes an Agori/Matoran form and tries to live a humble, quiet life in New Atero.
  17. Joke's on you, all of those are both related to nature and destructive powers. Honestly, just bring back Slizers with CCBS.
  18. It would have been way too predictable/repetitive honestly. Then again, it'd be cool to have a "full set" of the Toa Nuva with Adaptive Armor for each environment. 2008's Makuta were all pretty cool. Also the vehicles. The biggest shame is that 2009 was a soft-reboot but they were still using bland Inika builds. Some were more unique than others, but most were really, really boring. I mean, just look at Gelu. Besides the snowflake attachments on his arms, he is a set from 2006. If Lego wanted to take Bionicle in a new direction, why did they keep using such old and uninspired designs? The jump from 2008 to 2009 should have been as big as the jumps from '03 to 04' and from '05 to 06', but nope. At least G2 tried (and largely succeeded) to do the right thing.
  19. If it does come back, it should only be graphic novels or even just plain novels, but definitely more than online serials. Pure story; no sets to hold it back. I'd want Lego to straight-up sell the IP to Scholastic or some other publisher, if only Greg hadn't retired from writing. Then again, maybe a new writer wouldn't be so bad if Greg was the advisor/editor or something.
  20. No, they are not. Those terms are used for exactly just that.
