No. The Red Star is one of the most unknown environments in the story, and its Space Zombie thing wasn't even ran by the story team (since it no longer existed, of course.) There's nothing to work with beyond your own imagination. Also, most ex-Bionicle fans have no idea what the Red Star even is. You'd have a long time explaining everything to your players who will probably just get confused and bored before you begin. Why not set your campaign on the iconic island of Mata Nui? Appeal to that nostalgia. If you're not going to let them choose for themselves from a list, go with the Hau, Kaukau, Miru, Akaku, Pakari, and Kakama. I bet you can tell where I'm going with this... Your player characters should be the Toa Mata on the island of Mata Nui, on their way to fight Makuta in Mangaia. Forget about the Golden Masks, forget about Kaita. Let them know that they're playing something based on the finale of the first year's storyline. Keep it shrimple, keep it iconic.

I see. I suppose it would have been cool to see them go toe to toe, but with the way the story was written, it wouldn't have been possible. I guess they could have just given us more details during the Mutran Chronicles flashback, but if not, a lot of things about the 2008 storyline would have had to been different. Namely, Teridax and Icarax were in totally different places the entire time.

So? Can you provide some examples of these "weird comments" orbashings? A few screenshots or quotes, if you would. If something truly goes against the rules, it's better to just quietly report it to an admin or something along those lines.

Then again, I see that his posts have been edited so maybe your words were justified at some point, but now they're not. You should consider editing your post too in turn. Anyway, Surge and Breez are pretty good sets.

That describes Starscream too. It's the only reason why Megatron keeps him around. Icarax isn't as obnoxious as Starscream, that's their main difference, so I'm curious why anyone would want him to be more like his parallel.

Icarax already acts exactly like Starscream, how would you have him act more like him?

What if, instead of Kanohi Nuva getting randomly teleported to the island by Artahka (which is a pretty big plot hole), all of their masks were simply upgraded via an energy surge that happened when their Symbols appeared at their Suvas? And then instead of searching for masks again, they would search for their new weapons, which would have been brought and by the Turaga from Metru Nui. As for why they never told the Toa about these weapons in 2002/2003, they mostly didn't want the Toa to start asking too many questions, and they had their own weapons already anyway.

Aqua Magna and Bota Magna didn't actually orbit Bara Magna. They all had their own separate orbits around Solis Magna, and the whole reason Mata Nui had that "map" in his brain was when their positions aligned just right so he could rebuild the planet. It was a reminder of *when* he had to return from his mission, not where. This definitely wasn't made up my me at all just now. This is some seriously good stuff, I envy your ability!

Remember when they killed Botar only for him to be immediately replaced by someone completely indistinguishable from him? 10/10 writing. What should have happened is that Botar was only believed to be dead, but then there'd be a big reveal that he actually survived.

You don't get a "reward" for making a sacrifice. That nullifies the whole thing. And they already did that in 2006 on the staircase test.

He's currently writing an original story and posting it piece by piece to the TTV forum.

Instead of Mata Nui going dormant inside of the Mask of Life, I think it would have been way cooler if he pulled another Time Slip and disguised himself as an anonymous Matoran, living a quiet and peaceful life, while simultaneously pulling a Spider-Man and making everyone forget about Mata Nui, so that nobody would come looking for him.

Hahli Mahri and Matoro Mahri were fantastic.

I'd be very surprised if that were the case. He's actively updating his new, non-bionicle story on the TTV forums, and not too long ago he said that he misses Bionicle every day. He has also said many times that interacting with fans was never part of the job, and that if he ever got tired of it, he'd simply stop. Finally, if he did that, then that'd be quitting not being laid off.

Your sports analogy doesn't really hold up, since the Toa and Glatorians have never fought each other in the story.
