  1. Get Lucky wasn't a super-amazing-earth-shattering track, but very good. I've enjoyed listening to it many times.
  2. Boston bombings? A 7.8-magnitude earthquake hitting Iran? Has not been a good week for news.
  3. Apparently it was covered by The Guardian and Pitchfork, so I'm guessing it is true. I really liked the Coachella video. There is so much hype for the album that I can barely take it all. Has anyone read the interview with Thomas and Rolling Stone magazine? He says some very true things about the current state of electronic music.
  4. Ok, that was me derping earlier. I typo'd. The lyrics say plan. I copy pasted them earlier. All of the sites say plan, including the sonic wiki.
  5. TED talks are going to take over the internet, assuming they haven't already. Ariely brings up an interesting point: we need to have sense of purpose in order to accomplish tasks. It when that sense of purpose is forced away from us that we become restless and indolent. I think that's more optimistic than the idea that our only driving force is money. It does bring up a unique question: why don't we accept money as something as purpose fulfilling, or in a deeper level at least? I'd go on, but that's pushing the limits on BZP rules. It's a good talk. EDIT: But I did find the odd combination of a wrongly designed Vakama Hordika and Bohrok Va to be humourous.
  6. Eh. I really did not like the book at all. I remember forcing myself to finish it, only to find myself on a cliffhanger. I'm currently reading Immortality by Milan Kundera. Very good book I found it rather easy to read. It's a bit like Act 1 of Homestuck, to be honest. You need to read it to get the hang of how things work there, and then you can get onto the better stuff. And it's pretty obvious that it would end on a cliffhanger. It is a series, after all, and most serieses have to do that. It was an easy read, but I found it boring. The whole premise sounded very interesting to me at first, but as I read it, it became more tedious. It could have been very good, but it just kept straying away from its strengths. I just didn't find the characters very interesting, and I wasn't really compelled to see what would happen to them in the next book. The premise was very cool, but it was more focused on the characters and their survival rather than the mystery behind why they vanish after they turn fifteen. It looked like it was turning into just another Lord of the Flies or Girl Who Owned a City with superpowers. Maybe I should try reading it again with the sequels, but I remember being quite dissappointed.
  7. ....You do realize that's one of the most iconic songs from Sonic? And besides, the rest of the song is pretty awesome. Guess what lies ahead, only one way to find out! Must keep on moving ahead No time for guessing, follow my plan instead. Uh. To be fair it has a pretty sexy bassline. You don't have to like it, but you do realize that you're the minority opinion about the song, right? And plus other songs in the series are awesome. I haven't met anyone who hasn't heard the tune to Green Hill Zone at least once, Chemical Plant Zone has an amazing tune too, and the ending theme to Sonic 2 is absolutely beautiful. The modern games also have awesome soundtracks, Planet Wisp is one of my favorite songs in the series. The original sonic games were awesome. I've played Sonic 1 and 2 on the Genesis and they were really good. Most of the the games after Sonic and Knuckles have ranged from okay to very bad. Even the sonic adventure series hasn't aged very well. But that's my opinon.

  9. I would get it on Vinyl. Vinyl is higher quality than a CD, while mp3 is more portable than CD. Basically CDs suck and it's a miracle they still exist. A lot of artists are releasing their stuff on vinyl, which I am so happy for. Uh, didn't know that. But what I meant is, will it have good results? You know, vinyl-reading devices seem to be quite "rare". At least where I live... Vinyl players are still a really niche thing, but they are slowly becoming more popular. On the other hand, did anyone hear about Daft Punk performing at this tiny Australian agricultural festival?

  11. Templar studios has such a poorly designed website? What's with this stupid castle thing and the horrible sound effects? I have no idea where I'm supposed to click to find anything on the site. This was from searching up their website from google. Luckily the BZP newsteam is able to navigate through their website and has thankfully given us a direct link. On the topic of the news, it's good that it's back online somewhere. Though I think Gatanui's website allowed us to download it too, unless I am mistaken.
  12. I heard that before Human After All. It wasn't all too impressive to me as well, but perhaps more enjoyable than HAA. Darnit mange. Human After All was pretty great. It's got this really raw sound while Discovery had this very precise, polished sound. I prefer Discovery, but HAA gets too much hate.
  13. Rolling around at the speed of sound,Got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow. That is why I cannot like sonic.
  14. Physicist looks to be my current ambition. Anything with math and creative thinking really.

  16. God bless America I wasn't sure how you were going to deal with all that, but you handled it amazingly. Simple yet effective.
  17. Do you believe it, then? Of course not. The mere idea was too preposterous to believe (much as I wish it were so). I just meant when you read through the comments which are playing along you start to believe it yourself. is it a morphic field thing or sheep syndrome? Uh. I hope you realise that this isn't a joke article? This is serious. Google it.
  18. And LEGO stock just skyrocketed! Woah!
  19. None of them were particularly outstanding tbh. But I would pick the original MNOG if I was forced to. It's probably the most iconic of the games.
  20. I've tried using the [media] tags with no avail. I don't know how to use a forum, but some quick googling around has made me found that people have a created mods that allow IP.Board to embed soundcloud songs into posts/signature. I'm not sure if there's a request feature anywhere on BZP, but PMing Black 6 and asking him about possibly implementing the mod is a possibility.
  21. Well, I prefer to make anyone who's curious actually look up who Georgia O'Keeffe is to see if they can get the joke for themselves rather than explaining it. I'm evil like that. Aha I get it now. It took me a while until I read Pinkie's line again.
  22. I remember my dollar store sold these rahaga rip-offs. I should have bought them when I had the chance.
  23. So I hear they're rumoured to release a new album later this spring. And we've all seen the 15 second teaser trailer that has been remixed hundreds of times.
  24. I wish I was cultured enough to get the Georgia O'Keeffe reference.
