Oh my, I just saw Link monsters for the first time, and the new field and extra deck summoning rules. Yikes! The game has changed even more than I thought. Diving back into this is actually kinda exciting ^^

Okay, after this I decided to treat myself and got some new cards anyway =P I got the Legendary Dragon Decks set, which comes with all those new types of monsters (and not a single piece of instructions). Time to nerd out and learn this game again I guess xD

I was looking at some of the newer cards, and I have absolutely no idea how to actually play this game anymore xD I stopped playing around the time Synchro monsters got introduced, and now there's Pendulum monsters, XYZ monsters, all sorts of weird fusion monsters that you don't actually fusion summon but instead need specific spell cards that I don't quite understand... I'm completely lost xD

Oh no way, I just started getting into my Yu-Gi-Oh nostalgia phase too. I guess Duel Links does that, huh? I even almost bought some new cards for the first time in like ten years, but then thought better of it =P

Yeah, anxiety sucks, I feel you there. Though it sounds like you're able to deal with it to at least some degree, which is something. I hope you're able to improve on it further. And I also hope that all the extra work is at least going alright ^^

I think rather than it being specifically this site, it's more a matter of solidarity and feeling more comfortable when you see that you are not alone. It's great that we have this on BZP.

I was actually discussing this the other day with a friend who had the same experience on a Pokemon forum she used to frequent. They would do a yearly census there, and over five years it went from 10% of the members being LGBT to 92%, with around 45% of those being trans. It wasn't a particularly large forum, but it's still quite interesting. And really nice.

I can get access to another computer, but not so much the cable right now. Might try to find one and give it a try though, since it does sound like a similar issue. Trying to use the Windows install disc resulted in the exact same problem, so I can't even repair it that way.

Computers are indeed great. I don't know if there's anything else capable of providing that amount of both joy and frustration.

This is why I absolutely hate group projects. Had this one in my first year of uni, and one of the people in my group just disappeared after the first meeting, with it being completely impossible to get in touch with him, and I was the only one in the group who cared enough to actually do the work he was supposed to. Then two days before it was due, he shows up and explains that he went off for a break to Turkey, without bothering to let anyone know or anything. I still don't understand what has to be going through one's head to do that.

I really hope your situation gets resolved, and you do get to switch to a group with competent people. It's so incredibly frustrating.

While I do think Pulp are a pretty good band, I usually do not listen to them when consuming orange juice.
