  1. Ever heard of Byzantine, guys? Progressive groove/thrash FTW. I'd really recommend ...And They Shall Take Up Serpents.
  2. You know that contest they had in Japan way back when where they voted on a version mascot to be given out? Well, apparently Rayquaza won.And it comes with V-Create.WHAT?
  3. Granted, however, an airplane decides to crash into you two at that very moment. Tough luck.I wish I had more Cheez-Whiz.
  4. I like how he isn't overly bulky, kinda has that Toa Mata feel. Also, he's pretty dang custom, I love that. One minor beef I have is that his sword is huge, it looks as tall as he is, I'd tone it down a bit. Keep up the good work!
  5. Maybe I'm just too used to the heads, but the stalks don't come out very well, it looks like Takadox's eyes were gutted out to hold sticks. Other than that, I love the smallness of it, and I love how you managed to get the pincer in there! Good job!
  6. Dang, man! That really looks a lot like a mech, just the way it flows! It looks really vicious, I wouldn't want to run into this thing! Keep it up!
  7. It looks really lanky, but I love the colors and the way you made a Meteor Blaster look like part of the staff. Keep up the good work!
  8. Why isn't this a set? This is too cool! :DMy only complaint is the Furno 3.0 wings at the front, they look more lobster claws than fins, unless that's what you intended. If this was a set in summer this year, I'd pick this up in a snap. I'm a sucker for dragons/sea serpents, and this is a really cool example of both!
  9. It looks really cool, and I like the Turagish look of it, but think the real problem is that his head is a wee bit too small. The Toa Ignika version would be too big, though, so I'd recommend just making the body a bit smaller.
  10. God I hope that Jesse comes back. Alive or Just Breathing is an incredible album, my favorite, actually. Killswitch is in serious need of some creative readjustment, seeing that their last album sounded way too much like the metalcore that plays on the radio. If I need that, I'll listen to Bullet, thank you.
  11. Speaking of Fates Warning, check out Arch/Matheos. Pretty dang good progressive metal from the old vocalist and their guitarist. And sorry about the pop bit earlier. I've actually never heard of "underground" pop, that was a mistake on my part.
  12. My first metal band was actually Fight. You know, Rob Halford's groove metal band? That Fight.CONTORTIIOON IIIIN MYYY HEAAAD!!!!! :PYeah, metal's a good genre to get into, it's pretty enlightening and more informed lyric and music-wise to me. Just don't get into pop, whatever you do. That's the complete antithesis of it, nothing but sub-human stupidity and commercialism, to me, at least.EDIT: Why the word filter blocks the dialect form of "my," I'll never know.
  13. I agree with this article 100%. I'm actually considering being an engineer because of my interest in building that came from Lego. Take that, disapproving parents. It ain't just a toy.
  14. @Lone Defender: All the competitive sets I've seen have him with Timid, mostly to outspeed the musketeers, Infernape, and speed tie with Lati@s and Gengar. If that's not a problem for you, I'd keep him, especially if its Sp. Atk and Speed IVs are 31 like you said earlier (bwa ha ha).
  15. I was fighting Sabrina, and apparently my lv. 5 Mew, with Whirlpool, Waterfall, Flash, and Cut, can defeat a lv. 53 Wobbuffet. O_oAwesome.Of course, I made it PP stall so the Wobbuffet could Struggle and kill both itself and Mew, so he wouldn't get any unwanted EVs.Still awesome.
  16. I want to get into Random Matchup, but just trying to wade into it is extremely frustrating. When I'm trying to construct a team, I can never get it right. It just seems too easy for everyone else, but for me, I can't get the right moveset, can't get the right combination of Pokemon, the team has too big of a weakness to a type, trying to find the right items without breaking item clause, all that is just irritating. How the heck do you construct a good team?I want to try and wade my feet in and EV train an easy Pokemon, but trying to decide which one to train is another matter. You have to figure out which moveset you want to use for that one, and there's never just one good one, there's around 4, each with moves that you have to make a choice on, which is impossible if you know little about competitive battling. Also, you can forget altogether about EV training if you don't have power items, which you have to win from the Battle Subway, and I always lose there if I don't have EV trained Pokemon, because my in-game team is nerfed to the strength of unevolved Pokemon over there, and they're slow as heck. They also all share a weakness no matter which way I arrange them.Halp?
  17. Speaking of help, if anyone can spare an Event Regigigas for my Platinum, that would be VERY appreciated. Just sayin'. It has to be in a 4th Gen game, remember that.
  18. The way I see it, there are two kinds of metalcore:Awesome metalcore: Shadows Fall, Killswitch, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, and such.Bad, scene kid metalcore: Asking Alexandria and such. Basically, the bands that actually call themselves screamo. (Which is a terribly inaccurate term if you're referring to metalcore, BTW, don't ever use it except to talk to scene kids)Also, been listening to Meshuggah's re-release of Nothing. It's freaking awesome! Love that album.
  19. Love Lamb of God and Pantera. Gotta dig that groove.DAT GROOVE!
  20. Mudkip is #2 on Global Link. What is this?!?Keep incognito voting for Ditto, people! Beat out Arceus!
  21. I just listened to Gojira's The Way of All Flesh. It's pretty awesome, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Meshuggah, post-metal, or brutal progressive metal in general. Also, I don't know if you guys have thought of this, but I think it might be the end of the line for Megadeth. The whole thing with Thirteen's packaging and Vic in a coffin, the band members at his funeral, the clock with all the albums' symbols ending at Thirteen behind the disc, that kind of stuff. Why else would they put all that imagery in there? It'd sad, really, but as they say, all good things must end, and all incredible things must end with a bang. (I added that last part. =P)
  22. I voted for Ditto on my school laptop. Now to do the same on the Wii and repeatedly on my home computer...LET'S DO THIS!! =P
  23. I'm freakin' excited for the new Animals As Leaders album. I downloaded "An Infinite Regression" off of iTunes (they have it for free, check it out), and I've been listening to it a lot since. Tosin Abasi is a god on the guitar. It's already on the way to my house, can't wait. Also, kudos to whoever can recognize my avatar.
  24. Gah! Stupid Arceus. You can't even use it in Random Matchup or tournaments, what's the point? I'm going to vote for Ditto. I don't care what any competitive website says, I still have Random Matchup. In other news, I've been progressing a lot in SoulSilver lately. (I was late to the party, remember?) I've beaten Blue and am currently getting things that require Rock Climb that I couldn't get. Though I also just got Super Smash Bros. Melee, so that's going to have to wait for a while.
  25. I'm going to guess probably not, given all the previous events. Unless you vote for Blissey or something like that.I want that Zapdos so bad. LighningRod gives you an electric immunity, raises your special attack when hit with Electric moves, AND it still has its old effect of detracting those attacks from your partner in Doubles. I want to run it partnered with a Gyarados. But it doesn't have Heat Wave, and that's on almost every set Zapdos uses. And only Zapdos from 4th Gen can have it.But all the noobs are probably going to vote for Arceus anyway, so...I think I'll probably vote for Ditto. Though that'll be wasted if it gets banned.
