yeah "destiny algorithm" was a term coined here on this board i think, it's not canon, canonically i think destiny was and still is just "a thing" quite possibly, a load of baloney, but possibly a thing too, whatever it is, matoran believe in it and expect it to guide them, guide, not control. they still have the will to do what they wish, they can abandon their destiny no problem in fact, though through the magic that is a fictional series, it WILL either catch up with them, or punish them for it. 0:

Agreed i read it last night and the storyline is a lot like how the bionicle books were. And it's very intensely thought out in detail. I know he's gone dark but i wonder if Greg Farshtey would be willing to approve it as a official continuation to the G1 story so the cliffhangers become officially resolved No because greg had his own ideas he probably considered way more canon regardless of potential absurdity.

True, but sadly a lot of threads it just didn't save properly. It saved the links in the thread index, but not the threads themselves. And if they did save a thread, it's usually hard to find an archive past the first page of one. with our luck, it only saved the awful, unsightly stuff we all wanted gone forever >_>

i built a rack of horizontally mounted sockets facing outward and clipped the skull spiders to it o: dunno bout shadow traps, since they're bigger and lack an attachment point tho.

Yes, I think so. It's not a guaranteed thing but I think the chances are pretty good. Disney hasn't been afraid to license their characters out to WB for the LEGO Marvel, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens games, so it seems that the only thing standing in the way of those characters' inclusion in LEGO Dimensions was Disney Infinity. Or in more classical terminology, devour the heart of your foes to gain their greatest strengths.

Is Lego Dimensions going to become the biggest crossover in all of history? it's already gone from like, 8 to somewhere over 20 or something.

I feel what we have is pretty good, most of what's missing is my child-self's sense of juvenile wonderment. :b but the alterations i feel would benefit it are: -longer 2015 episodes, the ones we got aren't bad, but they sure left very little for character interaction time. -canon side-material that focuses on world-building (lets face it, MNOG was popular for a reason, it's a good thing!) -more visible wildlife, perhaps another rahi beasts contest/book? -consistant voice acting/characterization, the change in personality/vocal tone from 2015-2016 was one of the worst things we got so far. -"big" enemies like Skull Basher and the beasts actually having height that at the very least matches the heroes. and- -heroes who don't just keep getting taller, yikes. so ya, mostly little stuff, i personally kinda dig Okoto so far.

ah dang, i need to find my camera and also obtain means of shipping should i get that far but this seems p neat, i am to take it that the idea is to avoid any overtly CCBS looking bits, but we won't be discounted for using technicy techniques that require post-2010 parts? o:

I thought I'd hate it but I ended up liking it. Those shells and bones are short enough that together, it just ends up looking like his entire forearms are made of sulfur and he's wearing silver gloves. I tried putting burnt orange and dark beige plates on his forearms instead, and weirdly enough, neither of those colors looked as good. Really? cuz to me i see the tr-neon-green being used as an accent color everywhere else (his shoulders, knees, the back of his leg etc.) and then just this big solid chunk on his arms. given the only other place he has bones in that color is the back of his legs, that means this is the only prominent section of him in this color to be visible from the front, and it's quite frankly, huge. Pohatu: Master of stone pulled off his limbs being made of the yellow crystal/stone/glass but also remembered color layering and spread, so it didn't overpower any given part of him. while i'm on this i guess i'll add i hope 2017 has better color spread than 2016 did, those monopart chestplates absolutely wrecked anyone with the misfortune of it not being in their main color...

Pohatu: Uniter of Stone gets -100 style points for layering trans-neon-green on top of trans-neon-green with nothing else in that area of his body, disgusting and garish and honestly hard to see. Anyway in 2017 i expect we will see at least one Makuta, probably the same six jerks heroes we've come to love(?) and some sort of force for them to fight against, possibly in a set of five for whatever reason they've been doing that. shrug, i'm simple.

depending on your luck, you may still find some g1 bionicles at the backs of store shelves! (smaller stores are more likely because their stock moves slower, or so i've been told o: )

ya, i getcha too, i myself keep forgetting to check in, (thankfully my characters aren't very popular, oops.) <but i have had pretty big time-slips in the past with the one rahk i do constantly have in play, so, oops x2 the good thing about the internet is it waits, even if the people sometimes don't.

(i was mostly joking, "i'm not allowed to discuss future plot points" was Greg's response for either questions pertaining to the core plot (the one tied to toys) or to questions he just didn't want to/have the answer to. it was often up to fans to tell the two apart...)

Granted, Aqua Magna has no surface landmasses, Biomes, or Flora, so it's questionable how well that function works. (or maybe that's why it just spat up six distinct biomes when it made the island, hmmm...)

i love Storm Beast, and if it weren't for the way the others use the green//yellow color as "corruption" i'd just as soon assume the claws and head-crest on this guy were supposed to be lightning, i still will tbh cuz lightning-bolt fingers is rad.
