IC: Evex : Azure ThunderOkay, she still knew him. Evex's arms shot out, and he wrapped himself into a tight hug. Something had happened... the sword, and now this. She seemed to have her share of ill luck. His eyes wandered to Raknar. The Dricigil seem out of it (like Evex himself often was after waking up from a midday nap, but significantly worse). "... You know who I am... right...?"

I'll be gone most of tomorrow and sunday. For that period, I would like Basilisk to take control of Evex in Waves of the South.Just saying, he doesn't drink alcohol. At all. Trying to make him do it will result in a tantrum. I'll continue mulling over the statue why I am gone, and get back to you on that.

I suppose Evex's scythe is what people would consider most valuable, though there may be some legitimately valuable stones in his bag and he just doesn't know it. They just look pretty to him And maybe his whole body. If somebody got a Spear of Fusion or something...From his viewpoint, the sketchpad. Also, his life and his friends. Order is case by case.

IC: Evex : Sakrinil : Docks : Azure ThunderIt had been eventful, to say the least. As the sky darkened Evex took a seat near the front of the ship, ears perked up, listening for any unusual sounds. The events from earlier, the dragon's memories...Were the Ny real? It was an important question. If such forces were loose in the Universe, and the Toa discovered they were real, and not just a heathen religion as they so believed, would they try to destroy them?The story of Ny'Nirg came to mind, and how It once leveled a whole city to look for a single gemstone that had been stolen from It. The illustrations of men and women falling to Ny'Nirg's plagues, swollen and necrotic, and the things that crawled from their corpses was etched into his mind.The creaking of Song's hammock in the wind once again caught his attention. Whatever had happened in that cabin... Well, Evex would keep his distance from the matter for now. He would listen if asked to, but he was afraid to approach.

IC: Evex : Sakrilin : Azure ThunderIt was dusk, the sun seting on the horizon. The stars were bright. The land untamed. No settlements for as far as he could see, from his vantage point. He was alone, with only the winds and the stars to accompany him through the sky.Then everything bent.The wind shifted without warning. The light of the stars themselves was bent.It was thick and oily, floating on unknown winds of thought and aether. Long, black wings hung still, translucent. Green veins bulged and glowed. It drifted down to the forest, where the trees shuffled aside, as if afraid. It landed, taking no particular form. It began to mold itself, rearing its head back. The oily shadow pealed back, and twisted bone showed, a cruel skull filled with fangs, withered green flesh barely holding it together. It took the shape of a being like Evex, but at the same time so beautiful and terrible. Green flames licked the corners of its snout. The black oil wrapped around it, forming a thin, translucent skin. It reached out with a hand of bone, long fingers brushing against trees. Those plants swelled, then turned grey, and collapsed upon themselves. Beneath those trees had been a stone vault, which it brushed its hands against again. The doors opened inward, though the laws of geometry don't seem to apply, as they slid through what should have been solid rock. The opening in the ground seemed to consume light. The black thing slid in, even though is should have been much too large. The stone vault slid shut, then sank into the ground, and out of the world...Evex gasped for air.

They usually don't notice us, but if they do, well, there are whole epics about what occurs when the whim strikes one to change the course of a man's life. Usually ends badly for him, however much good he did. A guy exploded once. Long story.""But, we were drifting away from those beliefs by the time I left. Some wanted a more benevolent God, who would listen to them. Others fell into worshiping... things." "The Witch Cults of Uru`shulk went to the far west. Exodys and his followers left for Destral. Conith and his court traveled north. And the rest of us who left just went our separate ways, and have been wandering about.""... Kinda sucks for us, I guess."

Must of my kind were beginning to get more militarized, more... nationalistic. I wanted to leave before the fools attacked some Matoran settlement.""Generally, we lived in the forested areas in the lower half of the Northern Continent. Hunter gatherer, mostly hunter. We were getting more advanced, as I said, started taking advantage of metals in the ground. We used to be isolationists, but we tried to get more integrated. Again, it wasn't going well. A lot of us left, and wander the Universe now, and there are other groups that I haven't met, from farther north."

The next sound that came out of his maw sounded like the mewling of a small, frightened kitten.The contrast was bizarre, to say the least.
