  1. About half an hour left. Kinda obvious Waves will win. I wish there were more plot twists in this contest. Not just because maybe I could have won, then, but to make it so much more interesting and enjoyable...
  2. ... Snap, I need to make profiles for Waves. O_o
  3. Unless there is a miracle, I won't win this contest. By the time the next contest roles round, I shall have begun college. I'll have enough trouble finding time for schoolwork, let alone roleplaying. And thus, with that, I depart...NAAAAAW! Like that would ever happen!Did you really think you could get rid of me that easily? Playing RPs may be out of the question, but I will never stop thinking. I'm practically incapable of going a week without some new idea popping into my head, be it a brand new story, or a revision of one I'm already planning. So, I want to make something with you guys, one that in the end I'll hand over to you. A goodbye present, of sorts. It will be grim, it will be dark. I dare say it will be grim dark. Have you ever seen an RP from me that wasn't? There is only war. The Shattering was prevented, but war still rages. The Great Beings were slaughtered by the forces of Spherus Magna. Casualties are high, but still the six civilizations of Spherus Magna tear at each other’s throats. The art of war is evolving, its tools advancing, mutating. Land, power, these things are of no more importance. It is a war of hatred, of pain and loss, and vengeance. The Vulcanites match from their fortresses, setting the land alight. Iconoxin warriors come from the north, silencing all opposition. The children of Tesera spread life and death in equal measure, using their arts to chock the land in throned creepers. The Skrall of Roxtus surge forward, a wave of black armor and arcane weaponry, crackling with grim dark energy. Tajunite machines of war bravely enter battle, drowning opponents with tides of water and gunfire. The Vorox Tribes devour the land itself, its men little more that beasts, gluttonous monsters. This is a tale of war. There heroes on every side, undeserving men and women revered for the carnage they spread. There is no such thing as good. No such thing as evil. Simply unending battle, that threatens to extinguish all of civilization. Prepare for the fell glory of war. Basically, the Shattering was never an issue, and the Core War still rages. Quite inspired by Warhammer 40000. Been on a 40K kick lately. While I have no problem with people playing this as they normally would play a RP, with individuals, I was thinking we play as squads of soldiers. Men on the battle field, beasts of war being directed by a tamer, vehicles and mechs piloted by brave souls. Energized Protodermis would be used as a reason for more fanciful beings, such as the dragon men of Vulcanus, the Warwolves of Iconox, and practically every creature and monster that belongs to the Vorox Tribes. I'll post more as I figure it all out. Hopefully, this will be all settled by the time the next contest starts, and I can stand back with a smile on my face, and look at all of our hard work.
  4. What would make it even more awesome is that I am giving it to you guys so you can change it as you see fit. Don't like something about it? Discuss it and change it.Of course, SOMEBODY is going to have to take charge. And I want to be listed in the credits.
  5. Maybe in a year I'll come back and try another RP over summer break. If you ever see more of Goodbye Innocence, it will be in the Epic forums. Now, that doesn't change that I have had yet another idea for a RP, and I think I would like to leave it to you guys before I go to college, to do with as you may, should you like it.So, how do you feel about controlling squads of soldiers on Spherus Magna, in a universe where the Shattering never occurred, the Great Beings have been slaughtered, and the Core War rages on?
  6. I find the lack of votes for Goodbye Innocence disturbing. Especially after it did so well in the preliminary poll.
  7. Could you please elaborate on that? I accept that not everybody will like my RPs, but that message gave me no clue as to what you didn't like.
  8. Lev, I'm not sure if you are allowed to post those epilepsy things. Guys, the caps locks are growing annoying.Lets just calm down. :/
  9. The men and women of Goodbye Innocence are flawed, yes. But flaws make us human. Join the Vahki, and you lose your humanity. You are all human. You all feel emotion. Don't lie, don't joke. I know that each and every one of you is a person, a creature with emotion.Embrace your humanity.Vote for Goodbye Innocence.
  10. Scientists, using science, have proven that voting for Goodbye Innocence decreases the chances of Makuta Xynlos breaking into you house a night and brutally murdering you from 1 in 3 to 1 in 5. It also helps prevent lemon-started fires. And protects your knees from arrows.
  11. I come back after a day of hanging out with friends at the pool, and I find that Goodbye Innocence isn't doing well...Compounding with the fact the the new 40K errata has nerfed Tyranids pretty hard, I feel rather disappointed.... *sigh* better prepare some characters for Waves, just in case...
  12. If Goodbye Innocence loses, I'll probably end up in Waves.I'll need to make characters ahead of time just in case...
  13. I shan't trouble myself with the concerns of mortals. Goodbye Innocence is to these RPs as the Great Old Ones are to Man. I shall rise above all.[/uncharacteristicallyfullofhimself]
  14. I will destroy you if you do that. Lev, those profiles were well done, so I enjoyed their length. Just saying.
  15. I've already approved Levacius' characters. The Escapees may not be under my control by the end of this season...
  16. You could always just put her into a potato battery.
  17. Start of 09 was good, regardless of whether or not it felt like the usual Bionicle. The sets were good, and as I said, I loved Raid on Vulcanus. Then that movie happened...
  18. Am I seriously going on Dragonborn duty?...JOOR!I should make you speak in Dragon language in Waves.-Toa Levacius Zehvor *takes out a bow and arrow* Guys... DON'T make me use this.
  19. Yes, but the Ignika is a Mask of unbelievable power. It would be an exception.... I miss the days when the word "Ignika" filled me with a sense of awe. Again, went downhill halfway through 09.
  20. Velociraptors. One of the few things that legitimately frighten me.Except now I know that they are small and fluffy. So now they are cute, if dangerous.Though biomechanical velociraptors... *shudders*
  21. Kanoka Disks can be integrated into structures and machinery. That is how the Metru Nui airships worked, I believe. If you can get some disks of speed, and use some science to integrate them into the ship...Also, make sure you have good insurance. I bet it would be expensive, especially this far south, this early on in the Matoran Universe's history.EDIT: "This far south", not "this fat south".
  22. "What... What if she exploded, and then exploded again?"
