  1. My entry for the community-wide Dark Hunter collaboration organised for Bionicle Day.
  2. Pretty amazing that this long after the beginning and even end of G1, pieces of history still pop up. Nice find!
  3. I haven't had the free time to cook up a proper entry for BBC Contest #78:The Good 20-20! unfortunately, but out of nostalgia and solidarity I was determined to participate in some way. As a result, I whipped up this quick and simple Matoran build dedicated to BZPower member and fan comic creator Dark709. Early in the history of Bionicle and BZP, as a wee lad and eager fan I happened upon Dark709's comics which introduced me to the fandom. I'd spend years lurking before joining the forum in 2007.
  4. Last month was Pride Month, and anyone keeping an eye on the moccing world saw feeds flooded by rainbow coloured builds - BZP joined in on an initiative to spread awareness and love through the community with the #everyoneisawesome challenge on Instagram and other image hosting sites, and my contribution was the rainbow coloured mechanical Chameleon below: I was overjoyed to see the positive reception of it on various social media, and it only feels right to post it here too! While spreading acceptance and raising awareness was the point of the exercise, the Chromaleon did win me a Quake Beast in the raffle too - thanks Andrew!
  5. After an insane preliminary round, Bio-Cup 2021 isn't slowing down - round 1 is soon drawing to a close, and here's my entry which mashes up Bionicle with my main other hobby interest: Make sure to check out all the other stunning entries on Flickr in the contest group!
  6. Finished my entry for the Preliminary Round of Bio-Cup 2021, where the theme was "Bionicle Remix" - don't forget, you still have until June 8 to enter too!
  7. Part of an April's Fools collaboration with a group of friends - check out the other builds too!
  8. Real Name: Jacques Thermidor Background: Former gourmet chef, turned to a life of crime after restaurant became collateral damage during the pursuit of escaped criminals Criminal Record: Larceny, Assault, Fraud, Destruction of Public Property Modus Operandi: Steals high-value, exotic ingredients, replaces stolen goods with crates filled with angry crabs --- Built for HeroFebruary 2021, additional photos: https://www.instagram.com/p/CLjjwSil-uR/
  9. A revamp of Velika, built for a recent collab that tackled almost all of 2006. Check out the other MOCs via the links in the Flickr description!
  10. A revamp of Hahli Inika, built for a recent collab that tackled almost all of 2006. Check out the other MOCs via the links in the Flickr description!
  11. Back with another New Elementary MOC, this time incepted by my review of 80015 which you can read here! Check out the article for more images!
  12. A reimagining of Lewa and Kongu, built for New Elementary. You can check out the post and more images here: https://www.newelementary.com/2020/11/66960-lego-ninjago-energy-burst-hinge.html Inthert came up with the idea that inspired Kongu's mask.
  13. A few friends and I teamed up for a revamp of the Phantoka wave from 2008 (Mistika may or may not be coming soon). Any of you familiar with me won't be surprised by which character I took a swing at. For my interpretation of Pohatu, I took things down a "bioformer" route, taking his twin-rotor helicopter inspiration more literally than the set did. Interesting how only recently an official Lego Osprey was cancelled which had the exact same colour scheme! Make sure to check out the other mocs in this collab, to which I have placed links in the description - and massive shoutout to Buttloaf for doing a fantastic job on the photo editing.
  14. Pahrak-Kal, Kohrak-Kal and Levak-Kal
  15. Domain: Po-Wahi & Ga-Wahi The Papaka is a tiny crustacean Rahi related to the larger Keras. It is easily frightened, and its dull, shovel-like pincers are useless for self-defense. When startled, it will dig itself deep beneath the sand on the beaches where it dwells in the blink of an eye. Built for a collaboration with other builders where we made new combiner models from certain waves. Check out the other creations via the links in the description!
  16. microphones!
  17. Please follow landing standard landing procedures to avoid startling the Helicrab. Built for the 2020 crab collab!
  18. My entry for round 1 of this year's Bio-Cup. The theme was "Nature" with my bracket's subtheme being Rodents. I was at a loss as to what to build for so long, but when a friend unrelated to the cup informed me that the weird mutant villains in the Prime Empire wave of Ninjago are actually rats - who would've guessed? - it all came together.
  19. My entry for the preliminary round of this year's Bio-Cup. The theme was "Future".
  20. Advanced security robot powered by an experimental zero-point generator. Nicknamed "Dot" by her designers. Features 38 points of articulation. Additional photos on the Instagram post: https://www.instagram.com/p/B-pjeHWpkZx/ Thoughts and criticism appreciated!
  21. Built for Space Jam 2019, together with three other builders for the military category. Check out their entries too using the links in the photo description on Flickr!
  22. While I'm sorting my pieces and can't get started on any more serious moccing projects, I'm making some additional Matoran using the template I used with Jala. Here's Maku and a random Po-Matoran! You can find more pictures of the individual Matoran on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/B7JUvHGJZaY/
  23. Thanks! They can bend a bit, but the range is pretty limited.
