  1. I have no idea lol that's why I posted this blog.
  2. How much would you pay for it? I've gotten mixed answers so far as to what it's worth lol
  3. Cool, I think that's about what I bought the set for.
  4. I'm in Northern Virginia but like I said I'm not selling any of them yet. Just trying to get an idea of their value from interested buyers/collectors.
  5. This probably belongs in a different subforum such as LEGO Discussion, but here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=525cda6daad6db12ab1eab3e9fa335cadaf264c7bfd6be7f (I don't know if this is the most-recent version)
  6. I shoot on f/22 at like 22 seconds for these photos, with a tripod, a timer, and a ten-second delay. I'm shooting with a 50mm prime lens. Professional collapsible studio with aluminum lighting fixtures (like the kind for outdoor construction work with clamps) with slightly cooler than sunlight high-intensity LED bulbs. Neat, thanks for letting me know
  7. Nice review. Very straightforward. The set's alright as far as parts go but design-wise is nothing spectacular. I have a question unrelated to this review though but the photos inspire me to ask what camera lens and settings you use for your reviews DeeVee. I've been doing f/8 ISO-400 with 1/20 exposure with spot lighting and a 28mm lens on the current review I'm working on and I'm not entirely satisfied with how some of them come out, especially as far as details go (it works well on minifigure close-ups but not for pictures of the full set). I've also tried using my 50mm lens and am more satisfied with the results with that but any suggestions would be appreciated. Edit: Not that it makes much of a difference but I have polarizing filters on both lenses. I don't really prioritize using them in the photos for a review but I mainly just leave them on my camera for automotive photography or portraits.
  8. Hey guys, I've been going through all my old clothes that are way too small for me anymore and a few of them happen to be LEGO or BZPower related so I figured I'd see if anyone would like to buy them before I send them to Goodwill. None of them are torn and they're all clean and well-laundered over the years. I'll probably just ask $10 for each (covers shipping which is usually around $5 for a package and allows me to make a small amount of money off of it) unless you don't live in the United States where we'll have to work something out in regards to international shipping. If you want to name your own price offer, go ahead and I'll consider it unless it's lower than the cost of shipping. If you're so lucky as to want the shirts and live near me (Northern Virginia) I'll let you do local pickup and give you a lower price because I won't have to pay for shipping. 1. Ninjago "Spin" Shirt Red - (size not on label; probably Youth XL) 2. Ninjago Year 1 Shirt Navy Blue - Youth Large 3. Ninjago Ninja Shirt Black - Youth XL 4. LEGO Logo Distressed Shirt Black - Adult Small 5. BZPower 2013 Shirt SOLD! Grey - Adult Small 6. BZPower Shirt SOLD! Green - Adult Small 7. Brickshirts Minifigure Patent Shirt SOLD! Blue - Adult Small
  9. Did some quick research. Frozen was released on November 27, 2013. The eligibility period for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards was October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. The nominations were announced on December 6, 2013. So no, Let It Go wouldn't have been released nor would it have received enough sales and reception to have made it in last year's Grammy Awards.
  10. Don't you dare Also going to put it out there since it wasn't mentioned in the post, but all four minifigures in this set are exclusive, and it's also the lowest-priced set to include light bluish grey minifigure stands (design 88646).
  11. If you want, I could write a quick script that does this possibly. Other than that, it's not possible except to manually download the files one at a time.
  12. I remembered I have a blog here. If you didn't know, yesterday was my birthday. Thankful it wasn't on Thanksgiving this year like it was last year. This came in the mail yesterday. It was super fun to build, especially since I was on the Creations For Charity 24 hour live stream while I built it. I'll be reviewing it on Brickipedia soon. The live stream was a lot of fun. I was in it for around 13 hours out of 24, with some sleep in the middle of it. A lot of fun people were on it too including Josh and Matt from Beyond The Brick, Kevin Hinkle, Nannan Z and various other great MOCists, Bryan from BrickWorld, and many others. I've been listening to Korn and Five Finger Death Punch songs an unusual amount lately. My first semester of college is almost over. Most memorable moments so far have been completing Crysis 3 over the course of all my Student Development classes, countless hours of GTA in Biology, and back to back Family Guy episodes in English class. I can now legitimately call myself a professional automotive and portrait photographer having made decent cash on various photoshoots recently. You can follow my photography on the following sites: 500px - Facebook - Instagram - Flickr About a month ago I was in a bad car accident where a large deer ran into the car. No substantial injuries (except for the deer), and the EMS, police officers, and insurance agent were all surprised that, given the conditions, I kept the car under control and everyone inside safe which is good though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm looking at buying another car soon. At the start of this month, the LEGO Ambassador Network launched, being my first official year as a LEGO Ambassador. It's been a great privilege. I've almost certainly left some things out but most likely nobody reading this cares (and frankly I don't either). Bye.
  13. Can you confirm this somehow Meiko? As I've been unable to find any official releases on the subject. The last release I read had them alongside the USD and EUR prices. I'd like to assume they haven't changed since then but that I can't confirm.
  14. Hard to believe we're up to 5 seasons already. Couldn't help but to think of this when watching that long fight scene though.
  15. Like what? Turkey, Mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce... etc. Mmm... I can't wait! Isn't that what you usually get with Christmas dinner? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_dinner#United_States https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christmas_dishes#United_States
  16. The prices Aanchir listed are the official GBP prices.
  17. Though I haven't followed the series myself (though intend to next time I need something to binge-watch), based on the bits of story information I've read when monitoring activity on Brickipedia, the story is pretty detailed and has a lot of action over the course of each season. It's not entirely up to date (though most of the backgrounds on individual characters are up to date), but this page has a good background on the story that you could read.
  18. I'm rather late to this topic (like always) but I asked around Brickipedia's community (a predominantly UK-based community), and most of our British members agree "Bee-zee power" is easier and flows better than "Bee-zed power".
  19. I'm glad the final product isn't much different than the original fan submission.
  20. What colour are the gears and whatnot? Titanium metallic?
  21. Probably the person's account who hosted the files expired, so the instructions aren't available anymore.
  22. Not completely certain but seeing as it's the only recent change to it that I've noticed, I'd guess when the LUG Ambassador "rank" image was added, the code for the member info sidebar next to posts had to be changed, since not every LUG Ambassador is a premier member but still gets the image. As a result, people who aren't premier and don't have the LUG Ambassador rank image entered in get a blank space.
  23. Timelines can change, and surely everything that Missy did over this season wasn't part of Danny's timeline beforehand.
  24. Brickfete Ottawa takes place next weekend as well, 13-16 November (13th and 14th are exhibitor-only days). http://ottawa.brickfete.com
  25. I'm so far behind on this show... I think. How many episodes have there been this season, and when have they aired, because I feel like I've missed all but the first 3 or so.
