I've been worldbuilding for as long as I remember myself. When I was little, I'd used to draw up maps of fantasy worlds in my spare time. Now, my fantasy worlds are much more than simply big blobs of land in bigger blobs of sea. Now they are extensively designed and realistic, and most of all, alive. Kishimoto was pretty nifty at names for techniques, I'll give him that, especially when referencing religions and legends like in Kakashi's original ('nother example: Amaterasu, the black flames and the sun goddess in Shintoism).
