  1. I'd like to see more female characters like Hermione Granger, from Harry Potter. Ron and Harry would have been useless without her, and she was boss at magic. Too many female characters have to rely on males to do anything (Twilight, anyone?), and I'd like to see a change to that. So, maybe a line with strong female characters? Something to tell the kids you don't have to be a man to be independent? Maybe even... not include the colour pink?*A multitude of gasps fill the room.*

  2. They probably will. But still, those ANGRY EYEBROWS remain. I mean, look at my avatar. That thing's as mad as anything. Those butterflies are just driving a stake of hate through its soul.

  3. Having all your sons die at once COULD be quite distracting.Basically, Teridax had no friends and kept himself entertained by plotting to rule the universe. He'd just have to pick out what to do about the big things that could go wrong and make up the little things as he went.Or it could all be luck and he's just taking the credit for it. You never know.

  4. I don't think it would be physically possible for a Glatorian to be born fully mature (sorry Dralcax < : D ).We don't know much about the Glatorian species or culture as a whole, so there are a number of ways they could operate family-wise.1. They could be much like us.2. They could have a 'rite of passage' when a child becomes adult, symbolizing their readiness for the world.3. Children might be raised to be independent, with rituals and traditions to be passed every step of the way.4. They could be a completely genetically synthesized race, grown in test tubes and trained for combat once fully developed. The problem is, we don't know enough to make any detailed assumptions. Perhaps later on, we will know enough to think about this. Also, Gresh wasn't a child. In more human terms, he could be considered a twenty-year old hanging around people in their thirties and older. No, this isn't his age, but it's an example of what his age would be compared to the other Glatorian. Young, but not a child.

  5. I like where you're going with this, but I can't shake this feeling of dread I have which stems fom the worry that they'll send out something like Bratz or Barbie. Lordy, do I dislike Bratz. It's like they're encouraging botox and lip injections for kids, not to mention enforcing the stereotypical view that women have to like fashion and do everything in an overly flirtatious way.Your ideas seem pretty good, though. You just need to put more about specific ideas in it.

  6. I think I saw a girl's LEGO set once. It was all pink and you made a little white and pink cottage with a pretty little pony.See, this is the sort of thing that is a bit over-the-top. The way I see it, it doesn't have to be pink and frilly to be feminine. In fact, that's how I feel about most things. Like, my friend told me about a female character he found in an anime or something who could kick butt like anyone, but also wore dresses and was all-round feminine. That's the sort of thing I like to see: Feminine, but not Gender-Stereotypical.

  7. I'd support the idea of a girl's LEGO line if it looked decent and had play factor.I find that the ideal neutral gift is edible stuff, namely chocolates and lollies. They are the bomb with kids. Oh, and books are a good choice, especially the ones that are gender-neutral, such as the Discworld series or Harry Potter, or perhaps even Andy Griffiths' books.

  8. The awkward one for me is earrings. Whenever someone gives me earrings, I start fiddling and pulling my hair foward, hoping they don't notice my ears aren't pierced.

You have no idea what shenanigans I had to go through to get my ears pierced, with my huge phobia of needles but wanting to be able to wear Pacman earrings. It involved a lot of shouting and squirming.Makeup's pretty awkward for me. I have no idea what to do with that stuff, as I never saw the need to learn how to apply it. Also, the time I got a french nail kit. :/
  9. EDIT: Worded that wrong. Bluh.I tend to find the best present for anyone is money. But the whole 'buying for gender' thing is lame. I'm female, but I can guarantee you that I will not be thrilled at all if I get given shoes or handbags for Christmas.

  10. I'd probably go for the Spirograph too, just to save myself explaining the mismatched Star sign debate. If you're a Cancer, though, then I think you can go nuts with them. Make them into earrings. Attach bells to them. Print them on your undies. Show some pride in your star sign! :biggrin:I have too many keychains, but that's because I collect them. My keys are keychain-less, though; I have a mound of key chains just all linked together with no other use than to be picked out if I'm feeling frivolous. The lump is now bigger than my fist and that leads me to believe it is growing without my assistance.Darnit Jack you get back there right this minute and romance her! Kiss her ya wimp!

  11. It could also be his cousin, and Sahmad would be disgusted with you all thinking that he's married to her.It could be Kiina and no one has noticed she's acually a zombie yet. XPIt could be ANYONE. Oh wait it's totally Certavus.

  12. Why is everyone assuming the woman Sahmad refers to is his girlfriend/wife? It could very well be his mother. I mean, it's just 'the woman he loved', right? Well, who do you love more than your own mum? Also, I prefer the canon Kiina. You know, the more bitter one from the books and comics. She was actually all right. Not as good as MALUM (*favourite character) but still okay.
