  1. IC: Armani - Oh

Armani was about to politely explain to Branar the difference between being somewhere, as one would be at a market, and being somewhere with hostages, when Tuma spoke. A brief glance backwards told her all she needed to know.

This wasn't good at all. She would be speaking with Hakkzan after this, but for now, she had to defuse this situation. She recognised the guards, so Tuma wasn't lying about that part. Spying was serious. It ruined the reputation of the Guard, of their higher ups... It made people feel unsafe and nervous.

"THIS IS CONCERNING NEWS, TUMA." She frowned; it really was concerning. "AND REST ASSURED, I WILL BE INVESTIGATING THIS MATTER PERSONALLY. NO CITIZEN SHOULD EVER BE MADE TO FEEL UNSAFE IN NEW ATERO."

She started to walk over- not with any speed, simply to close the distance. Once she was close enough, she said, "If you'll allow us to arrest your captives for our investigation, Tuma, I am sure we will be able to find a rational explanation for this."

  2. IC: Armani - Residential District, New Atero

Armani met the pointed stare with a bright smile. "Not to worry, Your Spikiness! Given the aforementioned times changing, I am very happy to set aside any personal opinions I have on Tuma or his particular style of leadership."

Thankfully, she thought to herself, her plans to overthrow Tuma had come to be moot when Mata Nui defeated the other Leader in combat. She was fairly sure Tuma would have no way of knowing about those plans.

She took a step forward, out of the guard line, and gave a cheery wave to the angry Skrall. One would think, to address them, she would need some kind of megaphone. One would be incorrect in this case.

"GREETINGS!" she boomed. "IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, TUMA! AND HELLO TO YOU TOO, STRONIUS, BRANAR! WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE, HOLDING THESE CITIZENS AS HOSTAGES? SURELY, WE CAN SETTLE THIS WITHOUT SUCH TACTICS."

  3. IC: Armani - They Probably Want A Date

"Is it a private matter?" Armani asked. "Perhaps I can talk with them. I... used to be in Tuma's army, after all. Posing as an Elite, and as a man, of course, but I am sure he has moved with the times and no longer holds those outdated Skrall biases, and will have a civil conversation on the matter."

She did not mention that this was more wishful thinking than anything else, and that she doubted Tuma would be anything close to civil with her. But, there would be nothing gained from negative thinking, and she was willing to give Tuma the benefit of the doubt. Despite the hostages. This could all very well be performance art.

  4. IC: Matilda - Zesk Party

Matilda not only accepted the hug, but also scooped Garuda up into her arms and picked her up. "You did the right thing. They didn't hurt you, did they? The robots?"

IC: Armani - Apparently It's A Bad Idea To Suplex Tuma But The Temptation Is Very Present In This Scene

Armani, amongst Hakkzan's guardsmen, was doing her best to dissuade the insults and threats being flung from their side. This was a mighty task even for her, with tempers being sparked the moment they were cooled. She decided that perhaps a more proactive course of action was necessary, and so she made her way to Hakkzan.

She said, "Your Spikiness, perhaps we should ask them what they want? I doubt we will make any progress as things are, and surely they must want something, if they are going to threaten the lives of citizens like this."

  5. IC: Matilda - What A Start

Matilda was not having a grand day.

She was coming back from a large delivery, one begrudgingly accepted by a surly man who kept accusing her of breaking his items. She was tired on the flight back, which never put her in a good mood, and then she had arrived home to see something definitely wasn't right.

Garuda, she thought immediately, swerving to swoop low near her home. She couldn't see Garuda's vehicle, but there was one other place she went for safety, out to the Wastes. She flew down as fast as her ship would carry her, and to her immense relief, she saw the little aircraft parked below. Matilda landed, and the moment her engine was off, she jumped from the Trash of the Desert.

"Garuda," she said quickly, before issuing a brief grunt of greeting to the other Zesk. She turned back to Garuda, eyes wide. "What happened up there? Are you all right?!"

  6. Ayyyyyyyy I finally got around to fixing up two of my profiles

They're both buff as heck. Call it wish fulfilment; I wish I was strong :c

    ~

    Name: Armani

Species: Skrall, Leader Class (genetic abnormality resulting in expression of Leader genes)

    Gender: she/her

    Powers:

    - Very strong, ridiculously ripped

    - Hardy, high stamina and endurance

    - Possibly technically able to give official names to Skrall, depending on which Skrall you ask

    - Extensive training and experience in battle and military, as well as study in pretty much everything one would need to run a thriving society

    - Skilled tactician and quite intelligent

    - Impressive flexing

    - Charisma potent enough to be felt as a physical presence encouraging you to achieve your dreams

    Gear:

    - Thick, heavy armour, though she’s used to it

    - Sword of Skrall design, can be kept in a scabbard on her belt

    - Shield with New Atero emblem on the front, can be kept strapped to the arm or hooked on her back

    - Firework revolver, can be kept on a holster on her belt

    Personal Aircraft: THESE Guns

Allegiance/Role: New Atero, Major-General in the New Atero military

Appearance: She’s very tall and muscled. Ignore everything I said about her height last game, she is now taller than Tuma. She cannot be stopped.

Personality: Armani is a natural born leader, and always has time to listen to the concerns of the people and her friends. She is incredibly proud of herself, especially her muscles, which are a sight to behold. She is awfully chipper for someone in a post-apocalyptic landscape, probably owing to backwards elements of Skrall society finally being overthrown.

Bio: Armani was born with a genetic condition that caused her to express male Skrall Leader Class genes, despite being a girl. This meant she had lost any ability to use psionic abilities, but gained size, strength, and significant muscle mass. She found comfort with the other Sisters of the Skrall, as though they were not entirely sure what to do with her, she was welcome with them.

As she got older, she managed to acquire some armour roughly her size and sneak out to train in physical combat with the men, as she liked to fight and was quite good at it. On one of these occasions, she and the other trainees were rushed from the city as the Baterra swept through their homes along with bright, all-consuming flame. She joined in the mass migration to the Wastelands of Bara Magna, and later learned that the rest of the women had been left to die to the Baterra.

At first, she blamed the other Skrall for going along with such an absurd, monstrous plan. But, there was nowhere for her to escape to from them; a Skrall would not be welcome among the Glatorian, and the Wastes were certain death. She felt she had to continue the charade. Over time, she realised that it was not the fault of the entire population that fled the city; they were following orders. She instead shifted that resentment to Tuma, for ordering that horrid act. When she learned the Sisters of the Skrall were, in fact, alive, she was overjoyed. She promptly took the excuse of going on a Baterra hunt to seek them. They thought her allied with the very men who left them to die, and turned her away in shame. She returned to Roxtus, hurt beyond what she thought possible.

She followed along with the Skrall for years after that, silently planning to overthrow Tuma and studying to take over his position, until Tuma’s defeat at the hands of Mata Nui. She fled with the other Skrall in that embarrassing defeat, but decided to journey into the mountains to attempt reconciliation with the Sisters. She found them, powerless and angry and confused in the wake of something that turned the world on its head for everything they believed. She stayed with them, and when the planet started becoming unstable, she and the others headed into the villages.

From there, she joined the New Atero military. She was surprised and delighted that being a large and muscular female Skrall no longer mattered- in the wake of the world messing up, old feuds and hatred had to be buried. Some male Skrall show varying amounts of discomfort in her presence- she’s not quite a Leader Type, but is pretty darn close to one, so it’s debated how much standing she should have in that regard. She made her way up the ranks in the military and now serves high up as a Major-General, defending her new home to the very best of her ability.

    Aircraft:

    Name: THESE Guns

    Model: Rockoh

Weaponry: One Hagah Plasma Cannon aimed towards the front and one aimed towards the back, nestled in the armour plates to prevent damage when ramming other ships.

Customisation: Extra armour plating to better its function as a battering ram and to protect the pilot. Apparently it was so armoured last game that it took up two slots. Amazing.

Appearance: The ship is black with red highlights, and has the symbol for New Atero stencilled onto its sides. It looks a little like a giant metal fist.

Name: Matilda (yeah it’s not to the Latin naming scheme Bara Magna has but it means ‘Strength in Battle’ which is a very Malum thing to name a child)

Species: Glatorian, with a dash of Bota Magna Vorox tossed in

    Gender: She/Her

    Powers:

    - Matilda has incredible strength, well beyond that of a normal Glatorian.

    - She has a good many voice-based abilities, like decent mimicry, singing, and throwing her voice.

    - She’s inherited her father’s liability for hallucinations and breaks from reality. She’s currently medicated for it, in the form of tablets she needs to take.

    - She has the buffest tail to match the rest of her buff physique.

    Gear:

    - Giant claws with attachments for swords, Thornax launchers, etc. She can attach these, they don’t just pop out of the things a la Inspector Gadget

    - Machete knife hidden in holster in boot

    - Firework gun in holster in other boot. She has deadly boots

    - Bandanna (worn around neck, hides a secret)

    - Spare bandannas

    - A whole gosh darn bandanna collection

    - Sizeable backpack for sizeable meals

    - Medication

    - Clothes, hopefully

    - Glatorian armour

Personal Aircraft: Trash of the Desert, though Ehksidian some individuals refer to it as “Daddy Issues”, much to Matilda’s chagrin.

Allegiance/Role: Currently works as a ranger/guard/courier, largely on Tesara but prone to travel due to her job.

Appearance: Physically large and muscular, Matilda is tall even for a Glatorian and has piercing pink-red eyes, along with orange skin. Her hair is a curly mess of black locks; she regretfully cuts it short to reduce upkeep on it, the world being as it is. Her armour bears some resemblance to her father’s. When not working, she wears shirts that show off her massive biceps and big, fearsome-looking boots with shorts or trousers, depending on the weather. She always wears a bandanna around her neck because she’s just cool like that, and will resist any efforts to remove it. She does have a Vorox tail, but she often hides it in her clothes or armour. It’s not exactly a close-guarded secret, to be clear, but it saves her a lot of sideways glances and snide comments.

Personality: Matilda, like Malum, has a very short fuse and a very hot temper. Also like her father, she is loudly prideful of her abilities and herself. She has a lot of questions about what happened to her father and she hopes something up in civilisation can help her answer this question one day. She has a lot of passion in her and will dedicate herself fully to a cause she believes in. She is loyal to her father’s tribe and to anyone who earns her trust, as well as her unofficially adopted sister, Garuda.

    Bio:

Matilda, the daughter of the exile Malum and an unknown Bota Magna Vorox, lived much of her life on the surface of Bara Magna with her father, navigating the difficult terrain with their tribe of Vorox and Zesk. One day, while she was out investigating some strange tracks, she returned to their tribe to find Malum had gone missing. She took the mantle as chieftain for a while, waiting for his return and searching for him, but eventually gave up her title to seek answers in civilised society. She travelled to Tesara to begin her search, but still keeps close ties with her tribe.

She currently works as a ranger, carrying important messages or guarding cargo. With her experience in the Wastes, she is also an experienced guide for the planet’s surface, taking eccentric archaeologists and overexcited explorers and guarding them from the perils of the sands.

She performs songs on occasion, if an opportunity arises, but doesn’t do so in any official or career-wise extent.

    ~

Name: Trash of the Desert (I went on BS01 and found random parts of out of context Malum quotes until I found a good vehicle name)

    Model: Axalara

Weaponry: Two Hagah Plasma Cannons, able to be aimed, one facing front and one facing back to give full coverage.

Customisation: The bomb bay has been modified to act instead as a very small cargo bay. It is big enough for some larger packages, or even a Zesk in a sleeping bag. It has a teleportation device attached to it, and so if the ship is destroyed, both the pilot and a large, internally cushioned metal box that serves as a “shell” for the goods being transported are flung out. The box is key for the teleportation, and so if Matilda wanted to rig it back into a bomb bay, the contents would not be able to teleport upon the ship’s destruction.

Appearance: The ship is sandy tan, with crimson decals on the underside/lower half. This helps to camouflage it against the dunes. The tan part, that is. The crimson decals don’t help with that, but are positioned to not be seen from above.

  7. OOC: I'm pretty sure every one of my posts starts with an apology by this point but I'm sorry for taking so long again

IC: Kororia - Huggo A Sluggo

Aza had told her she didn't need help. Kororia understood this phrase perfectly; on Woomera, people said that when they needed help but didn't want to admit it. She jumped onto Aza's attacker, attempting to use her elasticity powers to ensnare them in a defensive hug. "Don't fight my friend Aza! Fight me instead!"

  8. *Stumbles in late* Uh

    Player Name: Zippy “Zee” Wharrgarbl

    Campaign: Darude: Bloodstorm

    Character Name: Doctor Anahera Abyssm

Gender, Age, Element: she/her, young but still an adult with doctor qualifications, water

Personality: Anahera comes across as a quiet but otherwise kind and good-hearted individual. This, however, is a well-practiced mask, behind which is a manipulative and calculating mind. Anahera’s worldview is a very stark black and white, with her actions above all others being right and just. She avoids suspicion with her perfect bedside manner and sweet demeanour, and is well respected for her excellent skills as a doctor. She is strictly against killing and death, seeing it as an insult to Ma. However, if her actions result in a death, she considers that to be the dead person choosing to insult Ma by not pulling through. Currently, she feels like something’s missing, but she can’t place what. Her back itches at times.

History: Anahera’s past is shrouded in mystery. Her family kept to themselves and rarely interacted much with the outside world, but old records indicate the Abyssm family followed a very secretive and extreme sect of the worship of Ma. Anahera was, from what few records there are from before the terrible incident that left her the sole carrier of the name, considered some kind of child prophet, blessed by Ma themselves. She showed a great interest in the workings of the living body and studied medicine from an early age.

In Anahera’s late teens, her family underwent a deadly mass ritual, each family member ingesting a powerful poison. It seemed, as the “chosen children” of Ma, they believed that Ma would protect them from death. Anahera was the only survivor, being revived by a travelling healer before it was too late.

Greatest Fears: Ma abandoning her or being angry with her, killing (she rationalises deaths by her hand, accidental or otherwise, as not her fault), death

Greatest Dreams: The world being free of evil, her achieving this goal as Ma’s champion because she’s obviously the goodest of all good people, being recognised as Ma's prophet

Ultimate Power: The End of Death and Evil. No one can die, not even if they want to. And those that go against Ma will definitely want to.

    Strength: 1

    Agility: 2

    Intelligence: 4

    Charisma: 3

Player Name: Public Enemy Number Zippy

    Campaign: Numero Uno

    Character Name: Juke Bawks

Gender, Age, Element: he/him, youngish adult, jungle

Personality: Juke is a few sandwiches short of a picnic, except when it comes to matters regarding farming or emotional intelligence. He’s genuinely kind-hearted, lacking a mean bone in his incredibly toned body, and his family is very important to him. He is mystified and worried about his family’s apparent disappearance, and by the fact that he can suddenly read like one of them book-learnin’ types. Something about it makes him feel sad. He also feels like he has to get back to someone, and is missing his shirt for reasons unknown. His eyes kind of hurt in bright light and there’s this little bitey ball critter that’s taken to travelling with him in the pocket of his overalls, or under his hat. He's named it Seq.

History: The Bawks family may not be rich or noble, but it sure is full of heart. They’re a close-knit bunch, and Juke is no exception. He was raised by his parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins, and pretty much anyone in the family old enough to hoist him up by the back of his pants when he toddled towards something he shouldn’t. However, due to his humble family and upbringing mixed with bad luck, Juke missed every major story event in BZPGOT. He’s determined to go on his own adventure, help people, and save the world. Or at least a town. Or a person. Something.

Greatest Fears: Being forgotten, wells (as in the deep pits you get water out of), snakes

Greatest Dreams: Becoming a hero, being remembered for something good, settling down with someone nice

Ultimate Power: Bringing back everyone who was lost and making everyone a big happy family with a regular celebratory jamboree.

    Strength: 4

    Agility: 2

    Intelligence: 1

    Charisma: 3

EDIT: Have been informed I need more fears and dreams, will fix in around 9 hours

  9. IC: Kororia - Team Baby Wrigglers

"Whoa!" Kororia, the little ball of momentum that she was, dropped and skidded under the taller Rahkshi's legs, rolling to land right beside Aza. "I'm here to help!"

  10. IC: Lost

"Hurt bad! Stop hurting...good!" Lost said, nodding confidently.

    IC: A! - Infirmary

A! grinned. Yeah!!! He drew a big smiley face on the chalkboard and showed it to Lost. Lost was so cool and on the level. They just got it.

  11. IC: A! - Infirmary

Were they asking where they were? A! wrote 'WE'RE WITH THE HEALER' on his board.

OOC: I can't write in comic sans on mobile. What a tragedy

    IC: A! - Infirmary

Were they asking where they were? A! wrote 'WE'RE WITH THE HEALER' on his board.

OOC: I can't write in comic sans on mobile. What a tragedy

  12. IC: Kororia - Team Baby Wrigglers

"HEY!" Kororia shouted at Aza's attacker gleefully. "Why don't you come fight someone smaller than you?"

    ~

    IC: A! - Infirmary

A! was relieved that his friends were all right. He was starting to worry that somehow he was getting louder. While he loved being loud, it seemed like no one else liked it, and he had a nagging fear that he would have to one day make an impossible choice: his yells, or his friends.

Lost shook him out of it with their question. Where? He wasn't sure what his friend meant. He drew a question mark on his newly-returned chalkboard to denote his confusion.

  13. IC: A! - That's A Lot Of Posts

A! was relieved that Lost had accepted his apology, and of course followed them all into the infirmary. When the new Rahkshi told him to get a handle on his powers, he was midway through explaining via his newly-regained chalkboard when Thunder took it. When he saw that she had taken it due to discomfort in talking, he didn't mind, though. It meant he could go back to attempting to comfort Lost.

  14. IC: A! - Big Yeller Heading For Infirmary

A! lowered his head to show he felt terrible. Because, honestly, he did. He found a pen floating around in his bag and momentarily stopped his consoling pats to write a word on his hand. He showed it to Lost.

    SORRY

  15. IC: A! - Patting Intensifies

A! turned to reply to Draco, stopped himself, and quickly pointed to Thunder in an attempt to gesture that she should be the one to reply. He wished he still had his chalkboard. He had his bags- he must have grabbed them without a second thought, and hooked them on his spines, for some reason- but if he wanted to write a note, he would have to stop patting Lost.

He supposed he'd have to stop doing that eventually, to write something about how sorry he was. He fumbled one-handed in one of his bags for something to write on, or write with.

  16. IC: A! - Aw No

By the time Thunder scooped Lost up, A! had recovered enough to follow, though he continued patting Lost in what he hoped was a comforting manner. He also tried smiling at his tiny friend, hoping they would forgive him.

  17. IC: A! - Big Yell

A!, both hands slapped over his faceplates and eyes wide with shock, was startled by Grakata's insistence on getting his chalkboard. He removed one hand to point at the chalkboard resting on the table, and in doing so realised Lost was mumbling on the ground. He immediately rushed to their side, trying to be comforting without making any noise whatsoever. This mainly consisted of patting the smaller Rahkshi awkwardly.

When Thunder approached, asking if they were all right, A! nodded in a distracted fashion, still with his hand over his faceplates, as if he was trying to hold in all his yells.

  18. OOC: I AM DELIGHTED
Also I want everyone to know I had to scale this down to like 20% of the original size

IC: A! - Shock Has Made The Worst Life Decision

A! barely avoided being hit by one of the funny spheres from the tackle, and from the look on the Rahkshi who'd shot the spheres' face, they weren't meant as a friendly greeting. He was shocked, only thinking of the fact that someone had straight up attacked his friends while they were eating, and shouted at them, throat tingling with the accidentally triggered might of a Power Scream,

  19. If it's all right, please consider me signed up, I'm just clarifying some stuff with Nato before I post a character sheet. Namely, where I need to be villagewise so I can get in on the Makuta-resurrecting action. I want to befriend Makuta and hang out with him.

  20. IC: A! - The Exclamation Point Is Important

A! wrote his name and underlined the '!' in a polite fashion to correct his new friend's pronunciation. Then, licking at the sludge still on his faceplates, he rubbed that out and wrote something else.

I'M COOL FOR WHATEVER YOU AND LITTLE FRIEND WANT TO DO!!!

  21. IC: A! - Friend Lunch, With Friends

A! looked up at his new friends, and suddenly had to grab the front of his kraata to stop the happy skree that leapt from his throat. His Makuta had always told him it was impolite to talk with his mouth full. Or to talk at all. He lowered his hand and smiled instead, hoping his friends understood how happy he was to be here.

  22. IC: A! - Friend Lunch

Delighted and empowered by Lost's rebelling against the system, A! went to fetch himself a tray after leaving his bags and board with his new friends. He was a little disappointed at the food- the worst kind of surprise was a disappointing one, he reckoned- but it would be rude to complain about food made for him. He returned and, taking a look at Lost, decided to follow in his example. Yeah! Cutlery is a myth! Rage against the utensil machine!!!
