probably would've lost a lot of fans if they hadn't managed to rescue the All-American Rejects
just a pr disaster no matter how you slice it

pre-release material bout the inika indicated that their heads would glow, and the final ones did not. this is the worst thing to happen to bionicle, ever.

This is a wonderful video and I'm currently watching it a second time, but I kind of wish there was a bit more talk about the soundtrack outside of the beach chant. It's just all so good.

YOOO THIS IS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY
I need the Boba one.

I really want to believe that banana on the left side of the kung fu battle set is tan even though it's probably gold or yellow.
Then again I guess it doesn't terribly matter because I originally wanted tan bananas for Cat Noir's hair but I changed it to the Brickheadz style that doesn't use bananas. Still would be neat though since they only appeared in one Harry potter set fifteen years ago.

It looks like ThE cHiLd is a single mold with head fused to body but I hope that's not the case.

Someone asked in the Discord server and B6's response was:
QuoteYeah, related to a question someone had about searching, there were a bunch of jobs running on the backend that were backed up. Invision helped us get them caught up so there are likely to be some changes in those sorts of things and hopefully searching will be more accurate.
So it might just be taking a while for everyone's stats to update. I know mine jumped from 7k (my old post count) to 9.5k within the past few days or so.

This is a cool change and I like it.

The longer this goes on without actually saying "bionicle" the less inclined I am to think it's BIONICLE related.

Honestly I'm down for whatever Faber does, even if this doesn't turn out to be a real BIONICLE thing.

I suppose this is a good way to justify the new molds in the Steamboat Willie set.

I like the classic hands better because they are more versatile (try fitting some of the weapons in the new hands, it can get pretty awkward) Plus they do have that wonderful classic charm to them.
That’s true. The Staff of Light wouldn’t even fit into a 2009 fist, would it?
Depends on how you build it. Connecting the Staff of Light in that particular way relies on the through-hole connection of the single socket joints, which the hand pieces lack. You could build it in such a way that it would fit, just like it could fit into the basic socket hands in the other way.

Depends on what I'm making. If I'm going for a lot of detail I'll just build articulated hands; the Mixels really opened up a world of possibilities for those. If I just want them to be holding something I'll use the current fist piece, because it makes for a good looking grip.
The thing is probably over half the things I build (or rather, built, past tense, haven't been able to do much of it in the past couple of years) don't even have hands, so it's not something I really have to choose between that much.

Deadline's closing in and all I've managed to make are the 4 legs... :v
I mean, I plan on starting on my entry tomorrow night, so…

It's from the intro video for BIONICLE Heroes.
I considered that. Why would the intro have set-accurate models but not the rest of the game?
No idea. But that's what it's from.

I can hear the faint sounds of my wallet begging for mercy.
Don't worry, I'm sure Mercy will come in at least one of the sets.
I require healing.

The one where they said the Piraka made them eat junk food?
Yeah, I remember that one very distinctly.

This is how I thought it worked the first time I saw it at the wise old age of 8.

Was kind of hoping they'd found some way to make (at least some of) the keys work as actual keys and play individual notes, rather than simply advancing the song, but even without that this is a beautiful model with an impressive function.
