    Does anyone actually remember anything about Avatar?  It has no memorable plot nor memorable quotes.  It exists merely for the sake of looking pretty and showing off what was then cutting-edge visual effects.  I know of no one who has ever watched it on their own time outside of a theatre setting.

     

    8th grade science class, actually. It killed a class period or three for us, but I don't remember any of us actually feeling grateful enough towards the poor movie to actually watch it.

    i think you missed the point of what i meant by the PS2 era graphics on bloodborne - they do look terrible, especially for a game in 2015 that otherwise looks astounding when it comes to textures and graphics. the souls series in general is bad with character models, but for a game as hyped on its graphics as bloodborne, it's really not defensible

     

    i think it's sony that's supporting fallout 4 console modding, but you might be right on that. i haven't followed it too closely.

     

    as for wanting backwards compatibility, my point on that was more towards what we agreed on in the first place - there really are no games at the moment that justify buying next gen hardware, except the old exclusives like halo. do you know anyone who bought an xbox one just for destiny? or a ps4 for bloodborne? you'd have to be insane. so of course everyone is going to want to play their old, functional, fun last-gen console games on their new hardware, because there's nothing else to do with the new hardware. it's just like how we have a serious lack of new IPs coming out in gaming - more stagnation instead of forcibly moving things forward

     

    lastly, my post is whited out because of the character i based my latest name change on being a mute. figured it was a little gimmick i'd stick with for the duration of the change

    this console generation is barren anyway. sony and microsoft both screwed the pooch with too many unnecessary features and not enough games, and developers are still racing to prove that stuff they run on the new hardware wasn't better served on a PS3 or 360. the only thing that's come close to a "next-gen experience" is bloodborne, and even the character models on bloodborne look like PS2 era junk

     

    people think fallout 4 is gonna be what delivers, but really, does anyone remember how bethesda screwed skyrim for the ps4 time and time again? does anyone think that as soon as the creation kit drops, the creative minds aren't gonna be flocking to PC anyway? 

     

    really, the question is why people are still jonesing for backwards compatibility after two years of the PS4 and xbone. there's one simple answer, and when you say it out loud it doesn't bode well for sony and microsoft atm

     

    i'm leaving the wii u out of this because i haven't done a lot of research into it. this goes mainly for the people thatstill consider playstations and xboxes the best buy, even with game libraries as barren as games like GTA V and Watch Dogs of interesting things to do

    the fight wasn't that good, and the change in pacing was obvious, but shane was the guy behind pyrrha vs. crdl in volume 2 so i'm not that worried

     

    might be a good volume

    i'm just hoping that the plot finally shows up and that roman and neo escape for a lifetime of thievery and being best buds

    in the middle of my first playthrough right now - last week i got hit with two blood dragons at once on the way back from ysgramor's tomb. so i was already nearly out of arrows, i was using faendal as a companion, and i had to spam beast mode with the ring of hircine to even make it out alive

    i want it because it looks really cool and my friends have recommended it to me but i am v lazy and spend my money on food and movies all the time

    I was excited for Doctor Strange, but when I found out who they want for the Doctor...

     

    eughhhhh

     

    This is how I feel. Also, splitting Avengers 3 into 2 parts was probably the smart thing to do give how much time still needs to be devoted to the remaining Stones, but I have a natural "eh" feeling towards two parter movies so whatever.

     

    Excited as all get out for Black Panther tho!
