  1. I stopped checking BZPower for a long time sometime around the Downtime, and never realized the forums were back until several months ago .
  2. Anything from garage sales. :PI once got a 99% complete Toy Story Trash Compactor for $2 at a garage sale (98% off since it normally sells for $50! )Other random garage sale finds: Vhisola and Ahkmou for $2 each, random Bohrok for $4 each, this set for $6 (no box but with all pieces and instructions), and this set for $8.Oh, and I also got a Ninjago Fire Temple (but minus minifigs and dragon) for $50 on eBay.
  3. Perhaps for the Android or other non-Apple platforms it would be possible to bundle the game into an HTML based AIR application. For an Apple device, Apple's licensing limitations for AIR applications prevent the ActionScript in externally loaded SWF files from executing so the games would have to be recreated from the ground up in a single SWF file using ActionScript 3.0.Could either of these things be done?I have no idea, since I have absolutely no experience with programming Apps. This was just a random idea I had.
  4. One problem I could see being a reason for not having as many structure-based sets is that just about all the significant locations that play a good role in this year's story are very vast locations, like the Sea of Sand (where the Anacondrai Tomb, Ed and Edna's Scrap 'n' Junk, the Lost City of Ouroboros, the original location of the Destiny's Bounty, the pyramd where the second Fang Blade is, and where the Fangpyre Tomb/graveyard is at the edge of) would be hard to make a good set of.It would be nice if there was a store exclusive or something that had parts that resembled all five Serpentine tombs, and could include all of the generals as well (because Pythor only comes in one set), but that's not happening this year. Yea, but I still think it would be cool if we could see something like the pyramid in the background of this pic (on the left side).
  5. I personally like last year's sets more, since there were more structure-based and not all vehicle-based sets. But that's just me.
  6. A Confucius, Mozart, or Einstein fig. A panda suit guy would be nice too.
  7. Thanks so much for saving the old online games! It's good sometimes to relive old times... I don't know if this is feasible, but would it be possible for someone who has experience programming Apps for mobile devices to create App versions of some of these games (for example, an MNOG or MNOG II App for iPod or iPhone or something)? That would be awesome...
  8. Don't know if this is the right place to mention this, but the first post mentions the Hordika magnets. Weren't those only sold at Legoland? How much are those worth?
  9. I waited for 2 years as a guest until I actually made an account.
  10. I'm not sure if this is the right place to mention this, but here's something interesting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bionicle-PARTS-Mask-belt-money-clips-/160674292702?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2568ef23de#ht_500wt_1156 (please remove link if links to Ebay are not allowed). I've never heard of those before...are those really made by Lego? And are the masks removable? It's interesting that there's a white Huna...
  11. The Aztec/Mayan/Mesoamerican warrior is my favorite out of both Series 6 and 7.
  12. Cool. I'm going to be checking my mailbox soon for it...
  13. Thanks for the review! I want this set, but may not be able to get it since I'm saving for something else...
  14. Ah, but Thok is actually a different color than Nuju, unlike the aforementioned Bohrok eyes. Nuju is 1 White while Thok is 208 Light Stone Grey (which AFOLs tend to call Very Light Bluish Gray). It's a color that was also used for shields in the 2004 Knights Kingdom minifigure playsets. I think the reason Thok is a different color from most white sets is obvious: they wanted his gleaming white teeth to be brighter-colored than the rest of him. I never knew that about the technical term for thoks color. Still that's neat.I think the Mindstorms NXT uses the same color for most of its Technic parts too.
  15. The last sets I bought were Ahkmou, Vhisola, and Pahrak at a garage sale for only $5 for all of them!
  16. I'd like to get this set but I don't think I'll be able to since I'm saving up for other sets. :(Anyways, thanks for the review!
  17. Congrats on being a new Trusted Trader!
