  1. While many people with TLG work with the studio creators of MoL, there are definitely a few differences with character's canon personalities, mostly because of the different people who were behind the storyboard. Either way, I think they did very well creating a quality movie with dynamic characters overall.
  2. Dude, I've been looking for these for a long while! Thanks, guys!
  3. Awesome!!! A very fluid piece of work, and I love the compromise between the original set design and the poseability of the movie designs.
  4. I definitely agree. It's a great work of art, but I more appreciate the stylistic license you've taken with it more than it's "Tahu-ness." Very well done overall!
  5. Great work for something completely hand-drawn!
  6. Sweet! Should make image sharing easier! And now I can get rid of the Word document I've been keeping all of my sigs in.
  7. I know, seriously! Doesn't even look like Lego Bricks at first glance!
  8. Sweet! Reminds me of the old Rahi design contest of '05!
  9. Yes! It was very visibly shown in the Vahki Online Animations.
  10. I imagine that Vortixx are aboutas strong as a Skakdi likely brawnier than the average Toa (although maybe not stronger than a Toa of Stone or a Pakari-user), and more agile than most Toa (but probably not as a Toa of Air). However, I think Roodaka's something of a special case, after seeing her in combat.
  11. 8-bit-style Vakama? Sweet!
  12. Yeah, most of them are very good. Provide some very good detail into the storyline, and they're very entertaining. I definitely recommend them. :)And especially nowadays you can pick them up for very cheap. For example, last year, I picked one up in a bookstore for about $4.00 USD, and they're likely cheaper on eBay and the like.
  13. Wow....looooong time ago. It was the Cendox V1, about a year and a half ago or so.
  14. Definitely the Ignika, especially now that it has Mata Nui's spirit contained within it.
  15. Looks better! Much more fluid this time!
  16. Yeah. Like in the movies, they pop out of nowhere. And despite the "hammer space," many written canon items refer to Toa pulling such items out of a pack.Well, it seems just one of those canonical inconsistencies that are just there. My sophomore year English teacher taught me about a literary concept called "willing suspension of disbelief" - where one simply accepts the improbabilities and anomalies of a piece of work because "it's just the way it is," for the purpose of being able to better understand it. That's kinda what I did. I just accept it as one of the weird things of Bionicle. Like Mr. Farshtey says, the physics and sciences of Bionicle aren't necessarily the same as our world.
  17. Yeah. Looks great, but there's definitely a bit of filling in color-wise that could be done. Overall, great job!
  18. Great organic look to the face. And the shading definitely makes the monochromatic color scheme work!!
  19. Great! Like the mods on the torso armor and around the ankles, it really fills the whole thing in.
  20. Sweet! Won't be down there this year, but I'll be a camp counselor for eight weeks straight like five minutes from there next year, so hopefully I'll make it down there.
  21. Sweet! Reminds me of the old Flash animations!
  22. I'd love to find out! Hope he'd post a pic of it in the forums.
  23. Well, I'm assuming he can rotate the polarity of his own internal gravity. It's like someone standing on the equator, exactly perpendicular to the Earth's axis. Theoretically, they're sideways, but they don't know the difference because of gravity. So the islands wouldn't have to rotate, so long as Mata Nui rotated the gravitational pull within his body.
