  1. You made Tuma look threatening. Kudos. The render is nicely done (love the style), and he looks like he's wearing armor instead of BEING armor. It's a cool look. Plus the sword is gorgeous.
  2. Very clean-looking moc. You really took the hf frames and eliminated all of the flaws, instead of a 2-dimensional hollow body now we have an armored, imposing defender of justice. (The hero cores on the inside of the knee are a nice touch, very subtle but take out a big gap that's usually distracting.) And the cannon arm is just wicked cool.
  3. Ah, the bird that makes people fear chickens. The sculpting and shape of this is really exceptional, the bohrahk faceplates are put to good use. The tiny wings are really accurate, not to mention adorable. The tongue is super cool, and EHRMAGERD YOU PUT A DEWCLAW IN. It's nice to see someone putting the exposed + axles on the pistons to good use. Excellent work, I wish you all the luck for the contest!
  4. Dat Kakama. Man, it looks awesome. Amazing work as usual, keep it up!
  5. The original was one of my favorites of that rahi book, and you've done the concept proud. The head is really nice, and so is the body and the claws.... Just awesome job. However, the function in the tail really makes it for me, so good on you for that. Great work!
  6. Lookin sharp, Chro. (Get it? Sharp? The axe pieces? Heheh... never mind.) The generator is a really cool concept and a really cool shape. The wheels and the blades make it really otherworldly or future-y, which is continued through the color scheme (that transblue always looks like it's just humming with power). Super awesome.
  7. Spacey... This is a cool dude. The layering you have going on on the lower legs and the upper arms is just glorious. Never realized kohrahk shields and hf torsos fit like a lock and key before. He is also a great example of contrast, you have an appropriate amount of greebles balanced against the large, flat sections, and you have simple sections interspersed with more complex, blocky ones. (Almost cartoony, but wicked cool). The shield on the back fits perfectly, along with the laser-disk type light-shields on the lower arms. And of course, the colors look sick. Keep these coming!
  8. I'm actually not sure what that is, so not really. Good luck in the name crusade!
  9. Dude. The freehand tribal Kakama. What. How (hau? ) That mask looks so cool, and so perfectly toa mata, I'm considering ordering the whole set of original masks like that if I'm ever not broke anymore. Great job on the lot, the Nuva kaukau especially has some nice blending on it. Seriously awesome work.
  10. GAAH. PRETTY. Honestly it's been a while since I've seen such a striking or well-executed color scheme. His (its?) whole aesthetic is very slick, the hf plating works really well in this case. Overall construction is also great, the pohatu cladding is such a cool piece and it fits nicely with the thornax launchers. As for a name, XLR8? (LAWL BEN TEN REFERENCES MUAHAHA) sorry. For a not-silly name, how about Radon or Argon or some other element? I think it would go with the whole sterile, energetic vibe you have going. Awesome stuff!
  11. Such poetry.... *sniff* In all seriousness, nice moc. (Up to your usual standards. ) This guy looks like a tank, the limbs and torso are solid with no gaps or loose pieces. The colors are great, go nicely together, all that jazz. My one little issue is the weapon; I know he's scrapped now but in the future I think a bulkier weapon would fit such a big guy. Nice work!
  12. For the split-second I didn't realize what day it is, my thoughts were instantly WE'RE GETTING BIONICLE BACK and then my eyes drifted to the date. Happy April Fools everyone!
  13. GAH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS XEVOZ! Anyway. The color scheme is really solid (you made red and green not look like christmas; nicely done.) This six limbs are incorporated without looking forced or awkward, and the upper arms just look really nice. His head is perfectly insectoid, and the wings go great! His bottom legs look a bit haphazard in my opinion, but I'll attribute that to being rushed. I wish you all the luck in the contest!
  14. As always Chro, marvelous. I especially like the contrast of colors you have going on in this; the trans-orange with nui-jaga blue looks high-tech and spectacular. His wings (a function... *faints from joy*) also look techy and like they can get this guy moving pretty fast. The flames coming out of the wristblade in one of the shots was a nice touch, along with the unarmored skeleton shot (though the skeleton just makes me insecure about my own custom building potential. ) Super job!
  15. Marvelous, old chap, simply marvelous. (sorry, I couldn't resist.) Ferris here has an awesome color scheme, along with a really unified look to him that makes you look twice to see if it really is made of HF pieces. The backpack and the tophat are nice, but to me the real star here is how you used Breeze's faceplate in conjunction with Thok's ice gun-tube. It looks spectacular, very robotic and generally cool. Now on to figuring out how you did it.
  16. This looks just like the strutter from dinotopia! It's very true to the book and to the creature; the repetition you did on the tail looks really slick and I love the greebles on this guy. The claws are just really cool, but I have to say my favorite part is the sunstone. Nice touch.
  17. Perfect halloween moc. First off the scarf just fits in perfectly, I've never been able to convincingly integrate cloth into bionicles, but you did a masterful job of it. Second off, his scyth... Man I can see this thing severing souls just by being in the same room with it. He is rather unrelentingly black (fitting for a toa of shadows...) but it does make it slightly difficult to see his construction, which makes him even more mysterious. Awesome job on this one.
  18. Ah those colors! Man they look awesome together! As with most of your mocs, I love they way you assemble usually simple structures in creative and different ways. At first glance, Locnor looks relatively average (with some sweet coloring, of course.) Then looking closer I realize all the cool builds incorporated into him. I especially like his glove, along with the hf armor as feet. Super cool moc, and good luck in the contest!
  19. It's rare that I see a moc that leaves the bounds of "cool-looking" or "awesome" and truly classifies as beautiful. With this, I think you've crossed the line. The color balancing is flawless, the red gives it a bit of pop and the trans-blue really gives the impression of the suit glowing with energy. The gun is really my favorite part, the trans parts along with the clip made out of skis... skis? Who would have thought that minifig skis would make a convincing clip for a futuristic rifle? Awesome work. It seems like the design was influenced by the Eldar of Warhammer 40k a bit, the gun and wing parts have a similar look to them. Great job as usual!
  20. Ah I love it! His head looks (as Anky said) like a skull, but also like some of the early fish-eating pterosaurs, which gives it a wonderfully prehistoric and threatening vibe. His pose is awesome, and the way you hinted at the actual bionicle parts without blatantly rendering them gives a great realistic effect. Wonderful rendition of an otherwise non-threatening model!
  21. Thanks everyone, I never expected to have this much positive feedback. The Renegade Emperor: I actually know what you mean, I tried to capture their spirit more than their actual appearance. It's nice to know I succeeded! P.S. I love your sig. Just a random comment. ~The 1st Shadow~: Thank you very much! Yeah usually I do animals in this medium, but hey, everything is better with Bionicles. ~garniria returns~: Thanks a bunch! I would try to get used to seeing things like this, I have a rahkshi in the works. :PSummer Don't Know: It's always nice to hear that something you made is interesting. Pohatu's hands were actually inspired by a moc I saw a while back where he was depicted almost as a soccer goalie, so I felt his hands should be beefed up. As for Lewa, I do see what you mean, I think I was running out of green pipe cleaners at the time... :/ Thank you all so much!
  22. This... This is just fantastic. Love the complexity (in the head especially... You managed to make set of oversized disc-launcing mandibles threatening) and the design of the staff. My favorite part I'd have to say is the feet. To me they look like they are modeled after the j-shaped prosthetics and stilts, and it really adds to the swift, robotic look. Awesome interpretation of the vahki.
  23. Wow! Thank you! My excuse for not including nuva armor is that they are in their adaptive armor forms, but that really doesn't cut it. Thanks for the comments!
  24. Truly, the only word sufficient to describe this is "wow". The sheer amount of pieces, the skill required to not only design a 3-foot tall bionicle that looks incredible, and then make it TRANSFORM into an equally stunning tyrannosaurus rex? I really can only praise this moc. This literally stands head and shoulders (hahah get it? ) over any transformoc, and many mocs I've seen. Excellent work.
  25. Now I know most people probably were confused by that title. I know pipe cleaners are an unusual medium to sculpt armored defenders of justice with, but I gave it a shot. I hope you all like them!GaliKopakaPohatuLewaOnuaTahuEdit: No more glitching, Tahu is up, and thank you Spinjitsu Master for letting me know.
