  1. Then again, how could you gain sentience simply by leaving the core of the planet? Well, once it was out, it had more interactions with the GBs, Agori, Glatorian, etc, so it might have triggered something there.Yes maybe it was already capable of being senteint but the real sentience developed by copying behavour of surface dwellersYes, exactly that. Or it might not have developed sentience until the GBs placed it in the MU.It might have already started before that but reached it's full sentience somewhere around 87000 BGC is my guess. So, you're saying it developed more gradually?

  4. I don't think it was their creative abilities, but I think it was their lack of knowledge on HOW to make technology. I mean, before, only the GBs made them technology. Without them, they were clueless and couldn't make anything. I think that's the reason they stopped making new technology.
  5. Sorry for the misunderstanding. :(It's possible that the EP didn't know that it was inside a planet and that there were beings up there that would take advantage of itself and destroy the planet. Also possible that it was curious about the outside world, as staring at the inside of a planet might not have been fine entertainment. Or it might have had malicious intentions, as you have theorized. (Like trying to escape the planet.) Or maybe a bit of all three, or something else. As bones said, we don't know what it's motivations are.(My memory keeps telling me that there was a dialogue sequence where the EP said that it wanted to escape the planet, but I can't place it...I looked up all the refrences I could think of of the Entity talking, but I can't find it. Probably just an old rogue theory, I hope.)Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks. And I'm beginning to think that it gained Sentience after it got to the surface. Because I don't know how you'd become sentient if you were isolated in the core of a planet.
  6. Matoro and Lihkan's (?) deaths. There are others, but these moments really stand out...
  7. No kidding. It might be difficult to put yourself back together after an explosion. See above. Also, I got the impression that the EP entity's channeling and wave effects are limited to the place where he's at. That planet is so big that he might not have been able to be everywhere at once. Also begs the question of why the planet was resistant to EP, yet the fluid made it's way to the surface. If what was there truly was immune to the stuff, the EP shouldn't have been able to get though, and if it wasn't, then the planet would transform or destroy. (Was it transforming? ) I guess what would make sense would be a material that would block it, but allow some effects through. (Or something stopping the fluid that wore off?) Another thing that I read in Greg answers was that the EP didn't start off sapient either - it attained sapience after the GBs came about...here, I'll just quote it out of my file anyway: If the thing wasn't sentient, it could have been the difference between being a fluid in a planet and a being that wanted to explore, break its way out. I'm asking more along the lines of why didn't the EP notice it was was being forced to the surface and try to stuff itself back into the core? Somehow, I don't think the EP would have wanted the planet it lived in destroyed. Unless it didn't gain sentience until after it leaked to the surface...
  8. We don't know, but this may help: *** Excidian is naturally found on SM. Maybe the core of the planet is just naturally resistant to the stuff. But if it can channel itself, why didn't it force itself back into the core?
  9. Dispassionate, as if it were merely a property of itself. However, he could be lying. :shrugs:2. There is a material that EP will not transform or destroy, as it must have been used in the making of EP pools in the MU.3. It is confirmed by Greg that there is no EP on SM, so however the Core is now, it isn't EP in there.Yep, I assume most of it was used in the creation of the Great Spirit Bot.So a portion of it's substance forced it's way to the surface. But can't the EP control what it destroys and what it transforms? Which would mean that it would have had a choice as to whether or not it wanted to destroy or transform SM. That must have been an interesting choice to make...
  10. 1. So, if the Energized Protodermis is sentient, why couldn't it have just pushed itself back into the core of Spherus Magna when it leaked out? Or, did the EP push itself out? And did the SM EP even have sentience, or was it just the EP in the MU? 2. Maybe the reason SM shattered was because Ep always either transforms or destroys whatever it touches. The core of the planet where it originally was must have been immune to this effect, otherwise it would have been destroyed long before the Core War. And maybe the EP, if it was sentient, pushed it's way to the surface of SM with the intent of destroying the planet, which would lead us to wonder why the EP would want to destroy the planet. 3. Is there any EP in the core of the new Spherus Magna? And was there any in the core of Bara Magna?
  11. I'm pretty sure it's all sentient beings, but many Rahi probably count as well, just not officially.
  12. Yeah, I think they were just mean to be spikes on his armor to show that he had been mutated by the mutagen into a form similar to the Barraki.
  13. The Madu Fruit A blinding flash of golden light. Even the Toa of Light, Takanuva, had to shield his eyes. Through his squinted eyes, he could make out the reptilian forms of Rahkshi all around him, spontaneously disintegrating. Tahu had unleashed the power of the golden armor. When Takanuva had regained his vision, he determined that Tahu might have just won them the battle. He grinned broadly. All around him, Skakdi and Skrall were startled and disgruntled at the sudden loss of a third of their troops. Grinning broadly, Takanuva wheeled around, preparing to fight off the remaining Skakdi and Skrall troops to put an end to the colossal battle once and for all. Before he could do so, he felt a sharp blow on the side of his head. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw was a Skrall withdrawing a closed fist, knocking his mask askew. It was the last thing he saw before he blacked out. Takua’s eyes flicked open. A bright light shone from above, blinding him. He squinted until his eyes had adjusted to the light. He could make out something along the lines of a palm tree. He heard a muffled voice speaking from somewhere nearby. He shook his head violently, his mask almost falling from his face. Now, he could see and hear with relative clarity. He adjusted his mask and noticed Jaller leaning over him, but it was not quite the Toa he had come to know in recent months. No, this Jaller was a Matoran, clad in Toa Lhikan’s Noble Hau and red-yellow armor. “Are you okay?” asked Jaller, worry in his eyes. “Ugh,” groaned Takua. He sat up, and immediately his head throbbed. “What happened?” “Man, that Madu Fruit really hit you hard, didn’t it?” asked Jaller. “You were out for ten minutes!” Takua noticed a Madu Tree above him, and a lone fruit lying on the ground nearby. “What?” asked Takua, genuinely confused. He looked down at his body and, to his surprise, saw the red armor of Takua rather than the white and gold armor that he expected to see. “What’s going on here?” demanded Takua. “You’ll never believe it!” exclaimed Jaller. “Believe what?” asked Takua. “Remember those stones you found?” continued Jaller. “Well, turns out they summoned the six Toa!” “What?” asked Takua. “Didn’t this already happen?” Jaller simply stared at him, believing Takua had lost his mind. “That Madu Fruit must have really boggled your mind,” said Jaller. “Now come on. Makuta won’t defeat himself, you know. And we have a Great Spirit to awaken!” ---- Yeah, I thought that this would be a cool plot twist, so I wrote a short story about it. Also I couldn't really think of a better title. XD
  14. I think it was just their senses telling them that bad things were happening in the world, and these were translating into bad dreams.
  15. Yeah, they look different. A non-organic version I think would look less face-like.
  16. Frankly, I feel like it would be more correct is Tahu was a Toa Nuva again. It makes him fit in more.
  17. Here's an example: Toa Jovan wore a Great Kadin, You know what the Great Kadin can do. Turaga Jovan wore a Noble Kadin, which basically allowed him to fly for short periods of time, but he can't stay flying for as long as a Great Kadin user could, because it's power just doesn't last that long. Hope that answers a question.
  18. that also reminds me of the sunken vahi and how it was cracked an the power flowed out changing the time around it, i wonder if that also happens when making masks, Yeah, it's probably the same thing. If they make a mask wrong, the power will leak out soon after it's done.
  19. It's like how when the Mask of Life cracked, it's power started to flow out.
  20. Generally, masks worn my Makuta are immoral masks, and therefore "corrupt" masks, I guess. And there are Shadow Toa, but they're all Takanuvas from alternate universes that have had the light sucked out of them by shadow leeches.
  21. Maybe because these GB's spoke to Mazeka in an alternate universe, he could understand it.
  22. I'd assume that most Zyglak are dead by now, not just the ones in the Pit...
  23. Maybe he thought he could control it but he didn't know the true nature of the storm...
