I honestly think the Mata are among the coolest-looking sets. I mean, I know they couldn't be posed very well, and that admittedly is annoying, but hey, if you're one of those people who buys figures to stand there and look nice (like me after '06 ), they're pretty much a must-have.

Out of all the ones I own...Photok. (He was really the only set I ever bought after early '06) I mean...those legs. I don't like those pre-bent limbs.

He gave them to kids who asked about the sample to make up for the fact that they couldn't get Vakama yet.)

Anything red or gold Hau-related. Not only was Tahu my favorite, but my self-MOC back in the day shared his mask. :hau:But since you're not specifically limiting it to '01-'03, I'll also go with Lhikan's Hau. Yes, I have a thing for Hau-wearing Fire Toa.

I only ever had very few mask packs. But I'd say my blue Pakari Nuva. Takanuva before the actual Takanuva, anyone? (Yes, I actually did that. He was literally just Tahu with Gali's legs and the blue mask. This was back when all we'd seen of the '03 Matoran was in the flash animation where the Kal got defeated. So I just thought "...Yeah. There's that movie coming out, isn't there? Bunch of people on the Lego Message Boards are saying Takua's gonna become a Toa Nuva. And I have this blue Pakari...BRILLIANT!")

Overrated: As a bunch of people have said, Bayformers.Underrated: I don't watch that many movies, but I'm just gonna go with the random Shaw Brothers kung fu movies I've seen (One-Armed Swordsman, Return of the Five Deadly Venoms, Five Element Ninjas, etc.). I mean, sure, they're cheesy, the fight scenes are all unrealistically choreographed, they often have terrible dubs, and probably only have extremely obscure cult followings nowadays, but hey, I love those movies, and I think they need more love.

I've never been professionally diagnosed with it, but I sometimes wonder if I do have it. That thing about obsessing over one thing for a while definitely applies to me, like if I watch an anime or movie or play a video game or something, and I end up liking it, I'll often go through some stage where I obsess over it. As for the social part, I'm more introverted than extroverted, but I like hanging out with my friends and stuff. By definition, I probably do, but again, I haven't been professionally diagnosed with it, so I dunno.

I'm not on either side, but I'll answer the question anyway.I'd think "Wait, seriously!? They're bringing it back!? I gotta see these sets..." I wouldn't buy them, but I'd still love to see them. Then for a few days/weeks, I wouldn't care, then I'd randomly get the urge to check out the story, briefly get back into it, then move on. Then maybe I'll briefly get back into it again. Then move on. It's a cycle with things like these, I guess...

Honestly, shortly before the forums went down, I kinda stopped coming here...though I'd VERY occasionally check to see how everyone was doing, etc...but then the forums were down. *LE GASP*Anyway, as for what I did while the forums were down, I FINALLY got around to my lifelong dream of learning martial arts. (Currently studying at a karate dojo that also teaches various weapons, with arnis/baston/kali sticks as my weapon of choice.) Oh, and watched more anime, been to more conventions, etc...But it's great to be back. I will honestly say that BZPers are like family to me. Missed you guys.

OH GOD NO. You just took the words out of my mouth. Not to sound like a fanboy or anything, but Japanese cosplayers>>>>>American cosplayers. I mean, American cosplayers (NOT ALL OF THEM, some of them) tend to procrastinate and finish their costumes in under a week. I go to anime cons when I can, and I'd wear something Anime-related (Like maybe in something normal, like a school uniform or a headband or something), but I won't go extreme (like, wearing *bleep*loads of armored stuff.) But I will never LARP. You will never see me dead in the vicinity of a LARP session...unless someone drags my corpse over there while people are LARPing. But, come on, who would go through all the trouble of dragging me over there?

K, I've got the base for my vehicle, and building a Nuvamod is very easy, so I don't think I'll have too much trouble.

Interesting...I'm inspired to build a vehicle... I stopped buying Bionicle around early '06, but I still MOC. I have all Toa from '01-'04, and a few pieces for an Inikamod. Will Mata/Nuvamods count? They're Toa, but they're barely poseable. It's just easier for me. If not, I'll probably go with a Metrumod, since (in my opinion) they look the best.

Just made a MOC today! It's a random Toa of Fire who got rebuilt into a steampunk body, I'll get pics up by any time this week. 100% custom torso, 50% custom limbs. So far, the only signs of steampunk-ness are exposed gears, smokestacks, and hoses/flexible pipes/whatever. Oh, and it's got a gatling gun on its arm. Yaaay. Oh, can real steampunk robots (yeah, yeah, Toa aren't robots, but still) have General Grievous-style feet? I only ever see them with flat feet. Just wanna be sure.
